Hearing his sentence, the warm atmosphere was instantly destroyed.
Yeah, now that she had confirmed it what would be her next course of action?
Sol stared at Charlotte nervously, ready to assist her captain at any given moment.
Lupin was a very tricky opponent to face taking into account his mysterious shadow and dark magic. He could appear and disappear at any place in a matter of seconds.
But now that it was basically proved that Alex was Lupin, he also had Anti-Magic which was the bane of all magic.
He had become even tougher than ever to face as an opponent.
In Sol's view, it would need at least half of the Captain to face Alex and have a chance to win.
While Sol was contemplating what to do, Charlotte shook her head and said with a solemn expression.
"I have no such plans. I'm not going to arrest you."
"Big Sis, but..." Sol tried to speak but Charlotte signaled her to calm down.
'What is Big Sis doing? He is a wanted criminal. If she let him go despite knowing his identity then...'
Sol was confused by her captain's actions but the next sentence from Charlotte turned her blood cold with a chill running down her spine.
Charlotte stared at Alex with an extremely serious expression. "Asta, tell me honestly, you're also Abraham Van Helsing!"

Sol shivered and stared at Alex with a scared expression.
Who was not familiar with that name in the entire Clover Kingdom? Not only here, but also in other kingdoms too!
It was a name that appeared exactly two years ago in the Diamond Kingdom and Spade Kingdom.
An extremely powerful mage who appeared out of nowhere and defeated all the strong magic knights of the Diamond Kingdom.
And if that was not enough, he even invaded the Spade Kingdom alone, killing for ten miles straight, and was the only person alive to face the Dark Triads, the strongest three of the Spade Kingdom, even forcing them to flee for their lives while sacrificing their subordinates.
It wasn't just a name but a myth!
And now Charlotte was claiming that Asta was Abraham Van Helsing!

Sol stared at Alex, shivering in her spot while praying that it would not be true.
She didn't even entertain the idea of it being a prank since she knew her captain didn't like to joke around regarding such sensitive matters.
Alex was surprised by her question and stared at her with a sharp gaze, for the first time his expression turning grave.
"What do you mean?"
Charlotte smiled and said. "Actually, it is speculated by all Captains that Lupin and Abraham Van Helsing are one person in reality. How could it be possible for two such powerful figures to appear out of nowhere? Even Magic Emperor agrees with our theory. Not only we but the top brass of all the empires have the same thoughts and we've been searching for both of them for a long time..."
She then raised her head and stared into his eyes with a sweet smile. "But I have no interest in that, I only know that he saved my life and I owe him that."
'And I fell in love with him at that moment~...'
She kept a few words in her heart, not wanting to reveal them at all.
Alex rubbed his temple and sighed. He plopped down on the sofa and released a mouthful of air. "Whatever, it's not like I'm hiding or anything. Since the cat is already out of the bag then so be it."
"T-Then... is it true? You really are... the legendary Abraham Van Helsing?" Sol was shell-shocked by the reveal, asking in shock.
Alex chuckled and raised his hand.
Instantly, Sol found herself surrounded by an invisible power, locking her limbs.
"Hey, what are you?..."
An invisible hand grabbed her body as her feet left the ground, hovering in the air. She flew over to the sofa before the force disappeared and she landed on something soft.
Opening her eyes after the landing, she found herself in his lap.
Alex caressed her cheek and muttered. "Now what should I do with you? You learned something that you shouldn't. Should I kill you or else..."
Even though his touch was gentle but it sent a chill down her spine as goosebumps arose over her skin. She could feel that the threat was real from the killing intent he was leaking.
"I... I... You..." Sol was overwhelmed by it and stuttered. She was aware of the cold and ruthless nature of Van Helsing via the stories. According to the stories, Van Helsing had painted ten kilometers into red blood while he chased down the Dark Triads in the Spade Kingdom.
Anyone who dared to stop him was killed without mercy with bodies piling up on the ground. The number of dead bodies was enough to form a small hill if gathered in a single place.
'Am I going to... die here?' Sol thought with a scared face, trembling in his arms.
"Hmm, nah! It will be a waste to kill you. Maybe I should..." Alex grinned and kissed her lips, causing Sol's mind to turn blank.
Not only her but even Charlotte was dumbfounded by the sudden change in the situation. At one moment, he was threatening to kill her subordinate Sol then at another moment, he kissed her.
'H-He... kissed her?'
Something snapped in Charlotte's head as a sharp pain rose in her heart. Her eyes turned sharp as her mana leaked out and an invisible pressure descended on the room, enveloping everyone in it.
Alex chuckled and his shadow expanded from under his feet, covering the entire room into it. The pressure vanished in a matter of seconds. He then took advantage of Sol's shock and invaded her mouth with his tongue. He also activated his devour skill to suck away her mana to freeze her.
