Chapter 45: Pressed For Time

Despite the Sun going down, the downtown area of Grenton city was bustling as usual. 

Bright, colorful lights from all the shopping centers flooded the busy streets with their dazzling charm, tempting people to come and take a look inside. 

Entering the slightly congested traffic of this area, Rob was finally able to slow down a little, merging with the countless other yellow taxis running around. 

"They didn't give chase, did they?"

"No, and they never will. Their hands will be tied with much more important stuff from now on."

Hearing Damien's confirmation, he slumped back in his driver seat, exhaling a light sigh. This stuff was really too stressful for a normal, average Joe like him. 

It was much better in the past. He simply had to wait for Damien inside his car without risking anything at all as his boss finished up his business, before losing any trails chasing after him by himself and sneaking into his taxi.
