Chapter 14 Sirin adapted mother

Meeting Yog Sothoth wasn't something I expected, and I'm forcing myself not to think about lewd things due to her beauty.

Honestly, I'm not a pervert, but her appearance is just my type. Well, the next time I see her, she might see my thoughts.

Still, I hope she won't. Now that I think about it, where am I?

"Finally!" Kiana cheered up, seeing that I was awake. She launched herself at me with a tight embrace. "You had me worried! You've been sleeping for three days."

'No wonder I'm hungry!' I didn't expect that I would sleep for three days. I Can't lie, I'm so hungry right now.

*Growl!* My stomach made a loud sound, making the others giggle at my blushing face.

Now look what you've done, stomach. You've made your mighty dark lord lose the support of his followers.

I can't blame anyone else, so I blame my stomach for this embarrassment.

"Dad, Rei is hungry. Can we cook for him?" Kiana asked the man carrying me.

"Of course, we can," Siegfried said proudly.

My expression turned into a grimace when I heard his words. The moment this guy entered the kitchen, even demons would run away from him.

Heck, Honkai wouldn't bother coming to Earth if they tasted his cooking.

"Please, no. I don't want to eat charcoal," I said, making Siegfried twitch his eye.

"You really need to know the truth, Siegfried," Theresa added. Even Theresa felt the same way I did.

"I don't think Siegfried's cooking is that bad. It's actually delicious," Cecelia comforted her husband, who melted into her embrace.

"Sorry, Daddy, but Mom's taste buds are special. Even I don't want to eat your cooking," Kiana apologized, looking at her father strangely. "You taught me not to eat weird things, but I also hope you learn not to cook weird things."

As if hit by arrows, Siegfried lifelessly knelt to the ground.

"Reality hits harder than you expect. That burn will take a while to heal," I said, looking at the man with pity.

---

Now that I'm full, I'm going to take a walk. Is it just me, or does it feel like they don't care about their patient walking around right after waking up from a three-day sleep?

Shrugging my shoulders and not worrying about it anymore, I ended up inside the lab where everyone was busy.

"Master Siegfried. Master Theresa needs your help against the Herrscher of the Void," a woman in a battle suit informed him.

Hearing this, I perked up my ears and listened to what they were talking about.

"Rei, you won't do anything reckless like last time,"Cocolia said to me, picking me up in her embrace.

"Hehehe, I got caught. By the way, Cocolia-nee, where is Alexandra?" I asked the blonde woman.

"Alexandra is packing her things and will leave Australia with your aunt and Kiana," Cocolia explained, pinching my nose. "And you will go with them, okay?"

"Okay." Looks like I need to leave this place now that everything is starting to get messy.

I'm interested in the Herrscher of the Void, but staying here would trouble them. So, I decided not to interfere, not even knowing what she was planning.

As I boarded the private plane, I saw Kiana rushing towards me. She had her usual happy-go-lucky smile, just like the child she is.

"Rei, I'll show you my favorite view that I just saw," she said, dragging me away as soon as she grabbed my hand.

I looked at Cecelia, who was smiling while talking with Alexandra. Cocolia was on the phone with Theresa. It seemed that Cocolia had decided to move her orphanage to Saint Freya, which was a future project planned by Cecelia and Theresa.

Seeing this scene, I wished it would never change. I didn't want to lose someone important to me for a third time.

Clenching my fist, I could feel Sirin watching me. I didn't know where she was, but her gentle gaze couldn't be hidden by a simple domain of hers.

**Sirin's POV**

Now that Rei had left, I could continue the plan.

I glanced at the ice coffin containing Hisashi and Leticia's bodies. I touched the ice and looked at it with sadness.

A portal suddenly opened, and my clone walked through it. She knelt on the floor with her head down. "My Queen, do we need to proceed to the next plan?"

Hearing her question, I didn't bother answering. Instead, I showed her the current situation through footage captured by Alaya.

She nodded in understanding and left. After a moment, I stood up from my seat, flicked my finger to open a portal, and walked through it, planning to properly introduce myself to Rei while the others still didn't know my identity.

After passing through, I saw Rei looking intently at the portal. Meanwhile, the white-haired girl had put her hand inside and then her head, looking at it with shining eyes.

Did her parents ever teach her how dangerous her actions are?

I looked at her mother, who smiled gently at me. Suddenly, I felt someone embracing me.

My body jolted, feeling horror at how dangerous this woman was. I hadn't even noticed her arrival.

Is she really human?

"No need to be scared of me, Sirin," Cecelia said with a gentle expression, surprising me.

"Did Leticia not explain to you?" she asked, sighing with a knowing smile. "That woman probably forgot. I'm your adoptive mother now. I signed an adoption paper with your name on it, so from now on, I'm your mother."

My mouth hung open in shock. "Why didn't big sister Leticia sign the paper herself?"

"Because she can't. She won't be able to take care of you with her current condition," Cecelia explained, shocking me further.

Big sister Leticia… She hid it so well that we didn't even notice.

Glancing at Rei, I said, "Hello, I'm your big sister Sirin. I'm sorry for my past actions."

"I forgive you for throwing me out of nowhere using your portal," Rei answered, as if it didn't bother him at all.

What's wrong with this kid? Is he even a kid?

I should have expected this from their child.

Suddenly, I felt space and time being manipulated around Rei's body and immediately tried to stop the portal from opening.

But to my horror, I was too late. I didn't manage to stop the portal from opening.

Out of anger, I gritted my teeth. As Leticia's son, Rei was supposed to be my little brother, but how dare they try to take him from me? I'll make them pay, no matter who they are.

A hand covered my waist, and when I looked, I saw Rei's reassuring smile. "Don't worry. I'm sorry for surprising you. I just got an idea of how to teleport over long distances using the same portal concept that you use," he explained as he hugged me.

Hugs are nice; they're warm and always give me a fluffy feeling. I felt complete just from a hug.

Hugging him back, I rested my head on top of his. "You scared me, Rei. Next time you use your ability, please inform me," I pleaded. I didn't want to lose him; his parents entrusted him to me.

I'm his big sister now, and big sisters always take care of their little ones, like I saw on TV.

"I see, I'm happy that you two are getting along," Cecelia said with her usual smile, giving me a gentle feeling. She's similar to my Mom.

Is this the main reason why my big sister chose her as my guardian?
