"You did well " Venelana said to the young girl in her embrace as she watched her slowly drift into unconscious.
Venelana promptly fed her a phoenix tear as she didn't want the girl dying on her.
To think she was able to harness mana to reinforce herself mid-fight was incredible, she did it on instinct. Venelana could see that the girl had more to offer thus she refrained from taking action. With her here, the girl would not be dying.
Thus Venelana watched the battle and the girl didn't disappoint her in the least. She was talented and she had a sacred gear to boot.
Venelana felt like she had picked up a treasure, she wanted this girl in her peerage.
Venelana could have waited for her to be near death and revived her using a piece thus earning her favour but Venelana detested these kinds of manipulations among peerage members.
The reason she only had Grayfia as her peerage member for centuries was a reason for that, she definitely treats Grayfia like her family and that would be the case for any of her future peerage members.
Venelana had her own pride in doing these kinds of things, if the young girl rejected her she would just leave. But she was confident in recruiting her...

A splitting headache was what Seri felt when she woke up, but suddenly memories of what happened before she blanked out came rushing in and she started taking deep breaths to calm herself down.
She was a little panicked by the unfamiliar surroundings and before she could go into a panic mode she heard a calm voice from her side.
" You don't have to worry ~, you are in someplace safe"
Seri snapped her head to her side and she stared at the beautiful woman who was sitting on the side of her bed.

Seri was confused about how this woman went unnoticed by her but also apprehensive. Last time she nearly died fighting a monster and now she was in an unknown place with a mysterious woman.
While she was deep in her thoughts suddenly the door opened and a Gorgeous silver-haired woman in a maid outfit came inside the room with tea.
Seri was a little surprised, first this woman and now another one, and both of them were so devilishly beautiful. {A.N: Hehe~}
" I know you are a little confused about all of this, but why don't we have some tea while we discuss it? " The flaxen-haired woman seemed to be the one in charge as she clapped her hands and said with a smile.
She nodded her head at the woman's words.
" Okay then~, I think introductions are in order ~"
" My name is Venelana Bael , and I am a devil~ " ....

Seri had a smile on her face as she thought back on those fond memories.
When Venalana offered her to join her peerage, she accepted it without a second thought. And if she had to say then she wasn't disappointed at all. It was the best decision of her life.
She received two older sisters who cared about her a lot and overall life as a devil was pretty good. But she did hate her master's husband with a passion.
He was the literal definition of scum, she felt disdainful of him, a High-class trash who had the fortune of being married to a Satan-class devil like her master but couldn't even cherish it. He even had the audacity to demand her service in his bed.
Although she knew Venelana treated her like close family, that wasn't the case with other peerages because most peerage members were just glorified slaves.
And she was sure that if her master were not Venelana then she would have to obey Zeoticus, which only made her respect for Venelana grow.
She loved both Venelana and Grayfia and would be willing to take a sword on the back for both of them if it meant she could help them.
But she did have to admit that her master did have her childish moments which she only showcased around them.
Which only proved how much she trusted and valued them. The number of members in Venelana's peerage showcases how strict the strongest female devils' requirement for peerage members is. Honestly, she was very lucky to catch Venelana's attention and she was proud to be her knight.
Although she too was peeved about her master's position in the Gremory household, how dare that trash do that to her. Honestly, he should be happy about being married to Venelana but he had to go and stick his stick in every hole he found.
Seri was just like a devoted fan going crazy for having their Idol being disrespected. She herself can be a little fanatical at times when it comes to Venelana.
How could she not when the woman in question was so fricking cool, the Strongest woman in the underworld, mother of the current Satan Lucifer, the Richest woman in the underworld, participated in two wars and came out alive.
While Seri was in her fangirl mode a magic circle formed in front of her snapping her out of her thoughts.
After a flash of light, 4 figures (+1) came into her view causing her to be surprised.
