Chapter 8: 8. Knight
Seri Awashima was having a nice vacation in Hokkaido with her parents in a luxurious resort owned by her King/big sister.
Seri was a 22-year-old beautiful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, and she had a bombshell body to boot.

Of course, she would be swarmed by guys like annoying flies whenever she went out to a party or went somewhere public like a beach or a pool. So she was especially grateful to Venelana for renting out this resort completely for her family for their vacation.
Seri was wearing a sexy white bikini, a top that struggled to contain her melons, and that bottom that was so skimpy that her ass cheeks were out in the open for others to admire. But too bad there was no one on this particular part of the beach.
Seri was rubbing sunscreen on her body thoroughly as she didn't want to get sunburned.
She was really looking forward to this vacation but she felt a little lonely without Grayfia and Venelana. She wished they would have come too but it's too bad they were busy with something.
But Venelana did promise that she would drop by in a few days and they could enjoy this vacation together.
Thinking of Venelana brought a smile to her face as she was eternally grateful to her. Without her, she would probably not even be alive...

Seri was very popular during her high school days, it was a no-brainer considering she had a figure which would make even professional models envious coupled with her gorgeous looks.
With her attractiveness there came unwanted attention, she always attracted attention from men whether it be the polite ones or the unsavoury scummy types. But being a Kendo practitioner along with being proficient in martial arts did help her fend off pesky guys who didn't know the meaning of distance or rejection.
But all of it only worked when her adversaries were human...what if she was stalked by something more...

Seri was breathing hard as she gazed at the nonhuman being in front of her. It had a wolf's head along with rotten bat wings.
Its yellow eyes emenated deep lust along with hunger which sent a fearful shiver down her spine.
Seri's uniform top was torn at the front giving a healthy view of her cleavage but she was in no condition to worry about her clothes as she held onto her shoulder which had a deep wound that wouldn't stop bleeding.
Seri was feeling scared, she was just a teenage girl and experiencing something like this would definitely affect her emotions.
She could feel the wanton gaze of the monster roaming over her body as she could feel the deep malice emanating from its gaze.
Seri felt tears pooling in her eyes as she knew she would die today, or worse she would be defiled by this thing and from its gaze she knew her fate.
She was planning to bite her tongue to take her life, but she was scared of dying and she didn't wish to go out like this.
She shakily stood up from her kneeling position while grasping her bokken. The adrenaline in her system made her forget about the pain in her shoulder.
Seri stood up and glared at her adversary, and she could see in his eyes that he still regarded her with disdain, because in his eyes she was just prey.
And she was damn well going to utilise the arrogance of this shit.
After taking a deep breath, Seri charged at her opponent mustering all the strength she had in her. She feigned a strike on its head which caught it off guard as she was successful in landing a blow on its shoulder.
*Bang!*
But it came at a cost ...her bokken shattering. Seri stared blankly at her bokken which only had a shattered half left as she held it in her hands.
"Kuh!"
"Bitch!"
But before she could think any further, the monster's hand held her neck tightly, and she was sure he was going to end her if the rage in his eyes was any indication.
*Squelch*
"Aargh!!"
Seemingly it might be her last stroke of luck but she was able to muster up whatever strength she had left as she thrust the jagged wooden piece in her hand into the beast's eye causing it to scream and drop her.
Seri who suddenly had her air supply returned coughed a little before taking deep breaths, her head was spinning as she felt a terrible headache. Maybe it was due to the blood loss but Seri didn't know, nor did she care.
She didn't even notice the sword forming in her hand, but maybe it was her body's instincts that she automatically grasped it tightly.
Seri stood up shakily while glancing at the monster who was slowly gaining its bearings, she couldn't waste this chance.
Seri's whole consciousness was muddled, but only one thing was clear...she needed to kill this thing.
Suddenly with a burst of speed impossible for a normal human, Seri lunged at the beast and slashed at it with a graceful but lethal strike.
The monster didn't even register what happened as its body was diagonally cut from the head, and it died with a confused expression on its beastly face.
Seri didn't even have time to register her victory as she passed out but before she lost consciousness she felt another person's embrace while at the same time comforting words...
