Chapter 53: Chapter 53- Developing the powers

"But what about that attack from the monster horde, aren't you gonna help people here? If this horde is ver large scale than they would need all the help they can get. I will be helping them. But I first need to hunt some monster to consume and maintain my energy in my body." I said out my worries about the people in shelter while also mentioning my hunger that kept growing.

"You are not even strong enough to protect yourself and you are worried about the safety of others. Look around and see, this is reality not some game. And there is already strong enough people in this shelter to protect it so why waste time here." He said while looking me eye to eye as he was telling me to dare to refuse him.

"Why don't you take it as the practice before whatever training you will be putting me through." I asked because feeling the threat on my head in simulation made me realize that how much a person pray for help when they are in danger.
