Chapter 53: Departure from the Kingdom and Information

"What happened?" Dax asked as Ephraim stood to one side, curious to know how two princes had started fighting in that place.

"It seems that the king has changed the order of things in his family. He replaced Prince Amos from the first position in the line of succession. Now, Amity is the heir to the dynasty. The king supposedly did this because of me." Seth quickly summed up the problem, having heard some muttering from the guards after Solomon's group left with the two princes.

"Sigh... This kind of thing will happen more often in the future. We're so much stronger than these people that they'll do anything to please us." Emery commented. "Even if you didn't intend to give preference to that woman, it's a fact that we got on well with her and preferred to be with her these days than with the other princes.
