Chapter 284: Our Boss Sends His Regards

Rufus had just stepped out of the bedroom, fully refreshed and changed into a pair of denim jeans and red polo when he saw some men barge into the apartment.

He made to dart away but one of them caught him before he could even take a step. 

How the man got to him so fast when he was clearly by the door was a mystery to Rufus and the thumping of his heart increased when he realized the caliber of people he was dealing with.

Lisa was too scared to utter a word and from the look she was giving Rufus, he could only read one sentence… 'What the heck is going on?'

He shook his head signifying he had no idea but the returned look on Lisa's face spelt utter disbelief. 

"Make sure you don't play any tricks. Act as normal as the value you place on your life," warned one of the men who seemed to be their leader.
