Chapter 231: I want to resign

'Damn!' Caden had told her in confidence how Grace ended up as Charles's nanny and she had promised not to reveal it to Jace but out of excitement she had just spilled the beans.

"How did you know I forced her?" Jace asked coldly.

Rose coughed awkwardly and looked away.

When she still felt Jace's probing eyes on her, she faced him squarely.

"Did it matter how I found out? Or didn't you force her? The important thing is that she left her prestigious career to take care of our grandson, so she doesn't deserve to be looked down on," Rose said righteously.

Richard sighed, rubbing his temples. "I understand your points, but don't forget that the Grace you're canvassing for doesn't care for Jace the way he cares for her and don't tell me I might be wrong because I've observed her these few weeks. She only has eye for Charles which is a good thing."
