I still need to rely on you to teach me," Caden said pitifully, but made sure the distance between him and Jace was far enough.

"Do you mind repeating what you just said?" Jace asked as he drew closer to Caden who also took some steps back.

"You're not planning to hit me, brother, are 

you?" Caden asked, feigning surprise, but all the same did not maintain his position.

"Today is my dearest nephew, Charles's birthday and I'm sure you wouldn't want to do such an ungentlemanly thing."

"Oh, is that why you have decided to be more daring and no longer value your life? I'll teach you to mind your business next time," Jace threatened and advanced towards his brother but before he could get close the brat had disappeared like a ghost.
