Chapter 179: Beaten At His Own Game

Even if he was lying, it was too great a risk to take. If he is eventually restrained, how will he get Grace to stay by his side? That was his only worry. Not even his businesses. What's the use of all those wealth without the woman he loves by his side.

Suddenly an idea came to him and he smiled inwardly. He could use this to his advantage, right? They thought they had him but he was also a master in this game. 

And whatever game he partakes in, he never loses, rather it is the clueless party that gets beaten.

"Don't think you have won this round," he suddenly said to Dr Mitchell who was already on tenterhooks from the long wait but still looking as unruffled as ever.

"I'll surely get back at you," Trent spat out and left the office.

Dr Mitchell heaved a sigh of relief as he also rushed out of the office. This was close, luckily the fool bought the fluke.
