Chapter 174: Let Him Have Her

"This is bullshit," Jace yelled into his phone after having no positive report from all the testing centers he had directed people to.

Is it possible for one man to manipulate things behind the scene?

"Jace Brandon, have you gone out of your mind?" Richard's voice announced his presence even before he barged into his son's office.

"What is this that I am hearing? Abandoning the more important affairs of the company to run around, campaigning for a wretched dying woman that has nothing to do with you?"

"She is a human father," Jace retorted. 

How can one have such an unruly man who has forgotten the basic etiquette of knocking before entering an office as a father?

"So are the lives of the people affected by the accident at the construction site," Richard Brandon threw back.

"If you are so concerned about human lives, since your uncle had his accident and has been in the hospital for over a week now, have you gone to see him?"
