Chapter 117: Meeting The Elders

While she was still brooding on this, her phone rang and she stared at the name displayed in surprise.

"Has he found out so soon?"

"Where are you?" Jace asked as soon as Grace answered the call.

"I'm on my way home, sir. Is anything the matter?" Grace asked just to confirm her suspicions.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Jace threw back almost immediately.

'I knew it. He knows already,' Grace smiled bitterly. 'Was he monitoring me? Well that could be expected seeing how suspicious he is of his cousin.'

"Everything has been sorted out, Sir and we'll soon get home."

"Hmm," was the response that came from the other end before Grace heard a dull beeping tone signifying that the call had ended.

"Such a strange specie! I guess all the men in the family has a common hobby… interfering with her peace.

Turning to Charles who was staring at her with an inexplicable expression, she muttered, "I hope you don't end up like them."
