To say he had been irked when he had walked out and seen Cory glaring furiously at Grace was an understatement.

As if that was not enough, he saw Cory raise her hand to slap Grace while Grace just stood doing nothing to either evade the slap or fight back, probably because she thought Cory was his cousin and thus didn't want to offend him was the straw that broke the camel's back.

How can she let others trample all over her like that just because she was a nanny?

He had always believed she was a strong willed woman who could be able to stand up for herself, and not the woman he had seen earlier.

If he had not asked one of the guards to keep an eye on her after he handed her over to the manager, was that how she would have allowed others bully her?
