She turned away praying that some invisible force will make her disappear from his scrutinizing gaze.
Jace stared at the woman who was acting surprisingly cute and a ghost of a smile appeared around his mouth, but it quickly disappeared just as it came.
"Can you explain your actions just now?" He demanded sternly.
Grace couldn't lift her head as she fiddled with her fingers, wondering if he was going to order her dismissal for reckless behavior. The last thing she wanted was another scandalous dismissal from her Job.
And with Regina's dismissal which was still fresh in her memory, she knew he was someone that wasn't patient with offenders.
