Chapter 31: Pineapples and Cookies

I walked towards the hall where the calisthenics club had its gym.

"Hey!" Jack called out from behind me.

He caught up to me and stopped me, placing a hand on my shoulder. 

I turned to him, raising an eyebrow.

"What is it?"

"I got a message from the chauffeur... Your father wants to see you."

I paused for a moment.

"Tell the chaufeeur to wait for me. I'll be at the limousine in 10 minutes. I have something to do,"

Jack hesitated, then suggested, "I don't know. Maybe it's better if you go now."

I shook my head. "No. It's not," I said firmly, and I walked away towards the calisthenics club, leaving Jack behind.

A minute later, I found myself inside the calisthenics gym.

Three guys and a girl were training when I entered.

I approached one of the guys and asked, "Excuse me, do you know a guy called Ethan?"

One of the guys on my right turned around and eyed me suspiciously.
