Chapter 249: Chapter 249

[New Translation!! [Warhammer: Starting as a Planetary Governor]

After being led in by Kurenai, the three were not offered any tea. Kurenai then went outside to wait.

The office was silent for a brief moment. Yoichi, feeling he had no time to waste with these three, spoke impatiently, "Are you here to submit an application?"

"No, not at all, Godaime," Shikaku quickly replied, realizing that they could not afford to hesitate any longer. Otherwise, all three clans would be forced to leave Konoha.

"We are here to acknowledge our mistakes, Godaime. We hope that you can give our three clans another chance. From now on, the Ino-Shika-Cho trio will certainly obey your and the village's commands."

Shikaku's words were quite on point, acknowledging the current state of Konoha. He understood that following Uchiha Yoichi's orders was the only way for their clans to thrive.

"Why didn't you do this sooner? Do you think I, as Hokage, would send you to your deaths? Those outdated rules should've been scrapped long ago. Clan cohesion is built on more than just rules," Yoichi replied bluntly. Any decision he made, the Uchiha clan was the first to support.

That's why he demanded the same from the other clans. Currently, Uchiha clan members made up less than a third of the police force, marking a significant change.

"Your positions will be restored. From now on, just cooperate with the village's administrative orders. This is a critical time for Konoha's development. Let's not have a repeat of past mistakes."

After finishing his speech, Yoichi dismissed the three of them.

To Yoichi, the Ino-Shika-Cho trio had only a slight advantage in the Yamanaka clan's secret techniques.

While the Spiritual Transformation Technique and the Sharingan's genjutsu could also extract information, the former was too difficult to learn, and the latter was less convenient than the Yamanaka clan's techniques.

Furthermore, they couldn't obtain intelligence from a dead person's brain using just the Sharingan.

However, the Yamanaka clan wasn't indispensable either. The village could function without any one of them. Yoichi's priority was to avoid anything that would cause him trouble.

Once the three left, Yoichi resumed his duties. Today was his first day as Hokage, and he wanted to handle as much of the village's work as possible.

Fortunately, both Kurenai and Rumi were now quite adept at handling village affairs, allowing Yoichi to delegate most of the tasks to them, making his role increasingly lighter.

"Yoichi-sensei, the tea has gotten a bit cold, so I've brought you a fresh cup," Kurenai said as she approached Yoichi. After replacing the tea, she lingered, gazing at him intently.

"Yoichi-sensei, you seem to be frowning again. You must be tired. Would you like me to give you a massage?"

"Was I frowning?" Yoichi asked, slightly confused. He had just reached out for some documents on the desk and hadn't started dealing with village affairs yet.

Kurenai nodded affirmatively, "Yes, you were. A massage would help."

"Well, if you insist. Thank you, Kurenai," Yoichi agreed, knowing that refusing her kindness would seem too cold-hearted, even if he suspected her claim wasn't entirely truthful.

"It's no trouble, Yoichi-sensei," Kurenai replied with a bright smile. She stood by Yoichi's side and gently placed her hands on his temples.

Her hands were cool, with a faint fragrance that was quite refreshing. Yoichi could tell that Kurenai had learned a bit about massage; she knew how to vary the pressure appropriately. Although she wasn't as skilled as Rin, her effort was commendable.

As he enjoyed Kurenai's massage, Yoichi began reviewing some of the documents on his desk. Orochimaru had submitted a request for research on limb regeneration, requiring ten test subjects.

Given the current peace in the Land of Fire, finding that many death row inmates was impossible. Yoichi crossed out the number ten and replaced it with three, setting the document aside to be handed to the Uchiha Corporation later.

After handling a few more documents, most of today's work was done, with the remaining minor matters delegated to others.

"That was quick. Thanks to you and Rumi, I can handle things so easily," Yoichi said, leaning back in his chair. However, as he reclined, he felt his shoulder brush against something soft.

Turning his head, Yoichi saw Kurenai's flushed face and her slightly lowered gaze. It was obvious what he had just brushed against.

"Sorry, Kurenai. I was just trying to relax in the chair for a moment."

"It's fine, Yoichi-sensei. You work so hard for the village every day," Kurenai replied, her face still slightly red.

"Kurenai..."

"How's my massage, Yoichi-sensei? Is the pressure alright?"

"It's... fine," Yoichi replied.

"Good," Kurenai said, her fair cheeks flushed. This was the first time she had been so bold. She had been waiting for a chance for a while, and now she had finally seized it. Standing beside Yoichi as she massaged him...

Knock knock!

The door was knocked twice and then suddenly opened, startling both Yoichi and Kurenai. Luckily, Kurenai quickly took two steps back. Seeing who entered, Kurenai couldn't help but bite her lip. How did she come back so soon?

Rumi placed two new documents on Yoichi's desk and said with a sweet smile, "Yoichi-sensei, these are reports from the Anbu that require your decision."

After speaking, Rumi cast a discreet glance at Kurenai. No wonder Kurenai had pretended to be uncomfortable and asked her to fetch the documents; it was a ploy to be alone with Yoichi.

Luckily, she had the habit of activating her Byakugan before entering a room; otherwise, she might not have uncovered Kurenai's scheme!

Yoichi glanced over the Anbu reports. One report was from Sunagakure, stating that they had recently suffered a sudden attack, resulting in heavy losses. Rumor had it that the Ichibi Jinchuriki might have been captured by the assailants.

It was likely Madara's doing. They were acting swiftly, even though the Yonbi and Gobi had yet to be resurrected. Was there a need to be in such a hurry?

The second report from the interrogation team stated that they had not yet extracted any useful information from Konan. However, she kept requesting to see the Hokage, prompting the interrogation team to ask if Yoichi wanted to meet her.

"Thank you, Rumi. I'll go have a look," Yoichi said. After issuing two orders to the Anbu, he prepared to head to the prison. Visiting the prison was just an excuse; he also planned to visit Kushina later to deliver the 'good news' about retrieving Minato's body.

"I'll leave the remaining tasks to you two," Yoichi said, wanting to leave quickly after nearly getting caught by Rumi earlier. Besides, he had finished handling his work for the day.

After Yoichi left, Rumi glanced at her 'good friend' Kurenai and, while walking to her desk, said, "I'll be the first to get close to Sensei."

"Hmph, Rumi, don't be so sure about that!" Kurenai laughed. She had long seen through Rumi's intentions, but Rumi lacked the courage.

Her own massage wasn't refused today, which meant Yoichi-sensei liked it. Next time, she planned to take things a step further. As for Rumi, she could watch from behind.

...

Arriving at the Konoha prison, Yoichi politely declined the company of the police force members and proceeded directly to the underground cells.

Currently, there weren't many inmates, and although the prison was built with five levels, only Uchiha Obito occupied the deepest level. There hadn't been anyone in Konoha who had committed crimes severe enough to join him, leaving Obito alone.

Konan was on the fourth level, and generally, no one ventured down there. Individuals like her were sealed with numerous techniques, making them no different from ordinary people.

Moreover, the prison was constructed with the likes of Doton users in mind, with iron plates embedded in the walls to prevent them from sneaking in with ninjutsu. Apart from delivering meals, almost no one interacted with them.

When Yoichi reached Konan's cell, he opened the door and stepped inside. Seeing Yoichi in his Hokage robes, Konan immediately realized he was Konoha's Hokage.

Without hesitation, Yoichi asked, "You've been asking to see me. Do you have some important information?"

Konan stood up and replied, "Only Nagato knows this information."

"Still saying things like that? You should know by now that Konoha can extract information from a dead man's brain. If that's all you have to say..." Yoichi said, preparing to leave.

Seeing this, Konan panicked and grabbed the hem of Yoichi's Hokage robe, quickly pleading, "I'm sorry, Hokage-sama! Please, save Nagato! Only you can save him now."

"Only I can save him? How do you know that? Who gave you that information?" Yoichi asked, narrowing his eyes at Konan. Her heart skipped a beat, realizing she might have accidentally betrayed Jiraiya-sensei.

"No one... You are the Hokage of Konoha, so naturally, only you can—"

"It was Jiraiya, wasn't it? Nagato is in a desperate situation. I already know that Madara has been revived, and I know more than you do. So what reason do I have to save Nagato?" Yoichi said bluntly. He had come to see Konan out of curiosity, but now that he had met her, his curiosity had faded.

She was indeed a beauty with a cold aura, delicate features, light blue hair, and light orange eyes, not to mention a well-defined figure. The soft demeanor she exhibited in her anxiety only added to her appeal.

"It's not about Jiraiya-sensei... Hokage-sama, I know Nagato and I have committed many crimes in the past, but this information concerns you. Please, for the sake of this information, save Nagato," Konan pleaded.

"You didn't do much. In several confrontations, you didn't even fight Konoha's shinobi. So Nagato is doomed, but you might survive. You could be imprisoned for ten years or so, and then you'll be released. So why not give up on Nagato?" Yoichi paused before continuing, "As for the information you claim concerns me, I'm intrigued."

Sharingan!

Konan suddenly saw blood-red eyes before losing consciousness.

"Tell me, what information concerns me?" Yoichi asked. A person with sealed chakra couldn't possibly resist his genjutsu.

"Uchiha Fugaku knows the Nibi Jinchuriki resides in your home. He plans to infiltrate with his son's help, seize the Nibi Jinchuriki, and take his son away from Konoha," Konan revealed.

"Anything else?"

"He plans to use White Zetsu to create chaos in Konoha. Once the chaos starts, he will make his move."

"When will this happen?"

"He didn't specify."

After asking a few more questions and learning everything, Yoichi released Konan from the genjutsu.

"You—" Konan, realizing she had been under genjutsu, looked despondent. Her last bargaining chip to save Nagato had probably just been lost. Would she have to watch her final comrade die before her?

Ignoring Konan's despair, Yoichi pondered over the information she had disclosed. It was unlikely that she was lying; Konan didn't have the ability to resist his genjutsu. Even Kage-level shinobi would have to spill their secrets under his Sharingan genjutsu.

It seemed plausible that Fugaku might return to find Itachi. White Zetsu's infiltration abilities were formidable, capable of evading even the Byakugan.

Only his Rinnegan and Kushina's Nine-Tails Chakra Mode could see through White Zetsu's disguise, and neither he nor Kushina could patrol the entire village daily.

Yoichi felt that he had treated Itachi fairly. He wondered how Itachi would react, considering he was old enough to remember when Fugaku defected from the village. Maybe he should have a word with Mikoto when he got back.

"Hokage-sama, please... Please save Nagato. He was just deceived. The things we did before were..." Konan's voice trailed off, her pleading words dying on her lips. It was true they had been deceived, but they had also killed dozens of Konoha's shinobi.

"You still haven't grasped reality, have you? Do you expect me to save Nagato just because you ask? Under my genjutsu, you've already divulged all your information. What reason do I have to save Nagato now?" Yoichi said.

"What reason...?" Konan was at a loss for words. With no more information to offer, what could she... Suddenly, Konan noticed Yoichi's gaze and lowered her head slightly, seeing her own curves.

'Shameless!!' she cursed inwardly. But then, feeling a deep sense of sorrow, she thought of the reality. Without resorting to this, she would lose Nagato, her last comrade.

"Hokage-sama, I... I am willing to pay any price, as long as you save Nagato," Konan said, having made up her mind. She closed her eyes, two unwilling tears trailing down her face.

Chapter 250: Chapter 250

[New Translation!! [Warhammer: Starting as a Planetary Governor]

The idea of using her body to save Nagato seemed almost laughable, but Konan realized it was her only choice.

Despite valuing her purity, the memories of her time with Nagato and Yahiko outweighed everything. To save Nagato, her only remaining companion, she was willing to sacrifice her body.

"Konan, what do you mean by 'any price'? Do you still have any value?" Yoichi asked. He hoped Konan would say it herself, so it wouldn't appear as if he were forcing her.

Upon hearing this, a mixture of shame and anger flashed in Konan's heart, but it was quickly replaced by a deep sense of helplessness. What could she do now? If she tried to be strong, it would only lead to Nagato's death alongside hers.

"I... I'm willing to offer... my body," Konan stammered, her voice lowering with each word, eyes closed in shame. By the time she finished, her voice was almost inaudible.

"How can I hear you when you speak so softly? If you're unwilling, then forget it," Yoichi said, turning as if to leave. Before he could take a step, Konan grabbed his sleeve and, with tears in her voice, pleaded, "Even if it means offering my body, please, save Nagato!"

"This should be of your own free will, Konan. I'm not forcing you," Yoichi said as he turned back and began to slowly unzip Konan's Akatsuki cloak, which was adorned with black and red clouds.

Konan closed her eyes, memories of Yahiko flooding her mind. She had once believed she could be with Yahiko, but fate had taken a different turn.

'Yahiko, to save Nagato, I hope you can understand,' she thought to herself.

Rip.

The sound of fabric tearing filled the room.

Initially, Konan tried to hold back any noise, but eventually, she couldn't suppress the sensations any longer.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

An hour later, Konan was left panting, exhausted, her legs weakly folded beneath her. When she caught her breath, she looked at Yoichi with a hint of fear in her eyes, silently hoping to avoid a repeat of this.

"Let's stop here for today. The place is not ideal, and it wasn't all that satisfying. In a few days, you'll see Nagato next to your cell. But if you want him to truly live, it will depend on your performance, Konan," Yoichi said as he lifted her tear-streaked face by her chin.

"I remember that the Akatsuki had a good reputation among the civilians in the Land of Rain. You've learned well. In the future, you'll work for Konoha. Go back to the Land of Rain and rally the people. Let the civilians who once believed in Akatsuki willingly join the Land of Fire. Konoha will be your solid backing," he continued.

The Akatsuki had done well in the Land of Rain, but they were betrayed halfway through. If they had continued, even if Hanzo had dispatched the Rain ninja to suppress them, it could have sparked civilian anger against the Rain ninja.

If the Rain ninja had indeed begun to slaughter civilians, then other civilians and merchants in the Land of Rain would have felt unsafe. They would undoubtedly spend money to hire ninja from the other three major villages to deal with Hanzo.

But unfortunately, Yahiko was betrayed, leading to Akatsuki's collapse. Fortunately, the organization's early efforts had been effective, and loyal civilians still believed in Akatsuki. With Yoichi's support, a new "Angel" could quickly win over most of the Land of Rain's civilians.

"Konan, from now on, you'll be the Angel sent by Konoha to the Land of Rain, and my personal 'Angel' as well. Understand?"

Konan shot Yoichi a stubborn look before slowly closing her tear-filled eyes. "I understand," she replied.

"Good. I'll leave things to you then," Yoichi said as he placed a Flying Thunder God mark on Konan. Then, using the Flying Thunder God Technique, he brought her new clothes and other necessities before leaving the prison.

Fortunately, he had turned off all surveillance and used a barrier technique to block the sound when he came down. Otherwise, Konan's peculiar 'cries' would have surely drawn someone's attention.

Agreeing to Konan's request wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision. She still held some value. With sufficient support in the future, this "Angel" could greatly help Konoha by pacifying the civilians of the Land of Rain, reducing a lot of potential trouble.

As Yoichi planned to make a move against Sunagakure soon, he also intended to act against the Rain ninja simultaneously.

Konan only had two months. If she could pacify half of the civilians in the Land of Rain and convince them to join the Land of Fire, it would be a significant contribution. When the remaining people saw others eagerly joining the Land of Fire, they would follow suit. Even if Hanzo wanted to resist then, his Rain ninja wouldn't act.

Leaving the underground prison, Yoichi used the Flying Thunder God Technique to arrive at Kushina's house.

He sensed that only Kushina was home; Naruto was likely out playing with his peers or challenging Sasuke. Kushina was in the kitchen, humming while preparing dinner.

"Seems like you're in a good mood," Yoichi muttered, shaking his head. He opened a drawer beside the bed, finding two types of pills, which surprised him. Kushina was well-prepared. Thankfully, the two pills looked the same, differing only in effect. Yoichi swapped them with vitamins and headed downstairs.

At the kitchen door, his footsteps caught Kushina's attention, and she instinctively said, "Naruto, why aren't you shouting when you come back this time? Did you lose a fight again—mmph!"

Kushina's words were cut off as Yoichi suddenly kissed her. The unexpected move startled her, but upon seeing Yoichi, she instinctively tried to resist. However, he held her tightly, and a gentle squeeze on her hip caused her defenses to crumble.

Unable to resist Yoichi, Kushina slowly began to respond to his kiss.

Several minutes later, Kushina pushed Yoichi away with effort, glaring at him. "I'm cooking! What are you doing?"

"Curry rice? It looks ready, and Naruto won't be back for a while. Just leave it," Yoichi said.

"No way! What if Naruto suddenly comes home… ah!"

Before she could finish, Yoichi used the Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport them to the bedroom upstairs. The next second, he took away the ladle from her hand, removing her clothes.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

After a long while, Kushina lay on the bed, panting heavily.

As she gradually caught her breath, she silently cursed him in her heart, feeling unappreciated. Yet, she slowly climbed out of bed, opened the drawer beside the bed, took out a pill, and swallowed it. Then, she turned her gaze to Yoichi, asking, "Why are you here this time? It can't be just for this, right?"

"Let's talk while we bathe, Kushina. I have to get back home for dinner with my wife," Yoichi said, lifting Kushina in a princess carry as he walked to the bathroom.

Kushina struggled, saying, "You're a scoundrel with a wife still eyeing other men's wives. I don't want to bathe with you!"

"It's about Minato. Don't you want to hear it?" Yoichi's words instantly made Kushina stop struggling. She looked at him in shame and anger. This topic seemed to have a spell over her; whenever it was brought up, she would agree to any of his requests.

To Yoichi, however, it seemed Kushina was just using it as an excuse. If she ever saw Minato again, this excuse would reveal her most shameful side, leaving her dependent solely on him.

Using the excuse of sending the Anbu to find Minato's body, Yoichi got Kushina to give in once more in the bathroom. He then comfortably headed back home.

Before returning, Yoichi used his ocular power to rejuvenate himself to avoid any suspicion that evening.

"That scoundrel... cough, cough," Kushina muttered, coughing lightly after Yoichi left. Angrily, she thought to herself that she would bite him next time!

"Mom, I'm back!" Naruto's voice called from downstairs, prompting Kushina to hurry out of the bathroom and head downstairs.

"Naruto, what happened to you? Why are you so injured?" Kushina exclaimed, concerned, upon seeing her bruised son. She quickly pulled out the medical kit and had him sit down for treatment.

As she applied the ointment, Kushina asked, "Naruto, did you have a fight with Sasuke today?"

"No, it wasn't Sasuke. That arrogant guy got hurt pretty badly too," Naruto replied with a grin, wincing as the movement aggravated his wounds.

"A few kids made fun of me for not having a dad. After I beat one up, he called his ninja brother. But Sasuke and I beat that guy up too. He's worse off than us!" Naruto boasted. While neither he nor Sasuke had begun chakra training, both knew breathing techniques that could temporarily boost their strength. Together, they were more than a match for a genin.

The genin had already been taken to the hospital. If the police force hadn't intervened, the two kids might have claimed their first kill at the age of three.

Hearing this, Kushina's anger flared, her red hair floating behind her. "Which idiot dared to bully you? I'll beat him up! And his parents too!!"

"Mom, it's okay, really. Maybe we should just let it go," Naruto said, slightly scared by his mother's rage. Besides, he and Sasuke had won the fight, so he didn't want to bring in the adults.

"Fine, we'll let it go this time. But if anyone dares to mock you again, come to me right away. I'll teach those jerks a lesson!" Kushina said reluctantly, seeing Naruto's reluctance. His injuries weren't serious, which was another reason she decided to let it go.

After finishing with the ointment, Kushina lightly punched Naruto and said, "Next time, make sure to beat them up twice as hard. Make them too scared to say anything! Who cares if they're ninjas? Those who bully the weak are nothing but cowards!"

"Got it," Naruto said, rubbing his head. He felt a bit aggrieved; he and Sasuke had already fought fiercely today.

...

In Yoichi's home, similar conversations were happening. Upon learning that Sasuke hadn't lost, Yoichi asked no further questions. However, he planned to follow up tomorrow. A genin who couldn't even handle children had no place in Konoha and should consider a different line of work.

Karin, however, knocked on Sasuke's head and said, "Stupid brother, remember to come to me next time something like this happens. Getting hurt by a genin is embarrassing for our father."

"Hmph!" Sasuke huffed, leaning closer to Itachi. He preferred his older brother Itachi to his often-bullying sister Karin.

"How are things at school, Itachi?" Yoichi suddenly asked. Itachi paused, then replied, "It's going well, Father. The teachers know I've mastered the lessons, so they've allowed me to study other things on my own."

"That's good. But while you study, you should also learn to unite and lead your classmates. Try to be a leader," Yoichi advised. "Whether as a captain or Hokage, one must be a competent leader. Acting alone will only make you a subordinate, and that's a limited role."

"I understand, Father," Itachi replied.

"Good. If you have any concerns, you can always talk to me."

"Yes, Father," Itachi agreed.

With that, the family resumed dinner. After the meal, Karin took Sasuke and Haku to train, with Kimimaro and Itachi joining them.

There were many dishes for nine people, but Mikoto and Mina quickly cleaned up together. Their only household chore was washing dishes after dinner.

After finishing, Mikoto approached Yoichi, gently leaning against him. "Yoichi-kun, is there something you want to tell me?" she asked softly.

Yoichi wrapped his arm around Mikoto and smiled. "Mikoto, you always understand me."

"As your wife, isn't it my duty to read your expressions?" Mikoto replied warmly, leaning closer.

"It's about Itachi. I received some information today that Uchiha Fugaku might come back to try and sway him," Yoichi began.
