"I didn't expect you to push yourself so hard. Although you've gained significant fame, it's still best to be cautious, Yōichi."
Kenji advised as soon as he heard that Yōichi had been taken to the hospital, he was the first to arrive.
Relieved to find that the issue wasn't serious and that Yōichi only needed a few days of quiet rest, Kenji finally relaxed.
Currently, Yōichi's main injuries were to his body's meridians and throat. Although the medical ninja who examined him were puzzled about how one could damage their meridians without any visible skin injuries, such injuries were still quite troublesome to treat.
With Tsunade's departure and two medical teams dispatched to the front lines, the healing capabilities at the Leaf Village Hospital were at their weakest.
Although there were still medical jōnin available, treating meridian injuries required extreme care.
"I understand, elder," Yōichi wrote on a piece of paper.
His throat, even with medical ninja treatment, would need at least three to four days before he could speak; he missed Mina greatly at this moment, thinking that if she were here, she would probably have him discharged in a day.
And she would take care of feeding him and all other miscellaneous tasks.
"Good, you're okay. Take this time to rest properly. Do you need me to find a clan member to take care of you?"
"Let's not, I'm not used to others taking care of me."
He was mainly uncomfortable with strangers caring for him. He was not incapacitated and could move slowly.
After staying a while longer, Kenji left to let him rest.
With no one else in the room, Yōichi slightly released his seal to check on Godzilla within his inner space, planning to see Godzilla's condition.
During the previous battle, when he emitted a beam of radiation, he felt as if he and Godzilla had merged together, with Godzilla's actions inside him almost synchronized.
Now, with Godzilla in a deep slumber, Yōichi could still feel he had control over Godzilla's power.
However, both were seriously injured. Godzilla was like an empty shell now, barely growing a new atomic reactor when Yōichi forcefully extracted and released radiation.
The power was indeed formidable, concentrating the intense radioactive particles into a beam, similar in principle to the Tailed Beast Bomb, which is about compressing to enhance destructive force.
However, it's difficult to compress the Tailed Beast Bomb into as thin a stream as the radiation beam.
"Yōichi-kun."
Hearing someone knocking and calling for him, Yōichi left his inner space and saw Orochimaru entering.
Orochimaru smiled and said, "I was planning to return the Amber Purification Pot to you, but I ran into your clan's Kenji at the entrance of the Leaf Hospital. Hearing that you have a good relationship with him, I handed the Amber Purification Pot over to him. I hope that's alright, Yōichi-kun."
"No problem, thank you, Orochimaru-sama."
Placing it with Elder Kenji was fine; the pot was a business tool for Yōichi, who lacked a tailed beast to seal. It was used for transporting goods in combination with the Heavenly Transfer Technique.
"Yōichi-kun, well, we'll talk more once you're better. I've made some breakthroughs in my research on Sage Techniques recently, but the current test subjects are still sufficient. I'll likely have a surprise for you later."
Orochimaru said, smiling. He wanted to discuss a simplified version of Sage Mode with Yōichi; despite failing in his previous Sage Technique cultivation, he had a deep understanding of natural energy.
After discovering a student's unique body constitution, he figured out a safe method to absorb natural energy.
Seeing Yōichi's current state, Orochimaru decided it was best to focus on recovery.
After Orochimaru left, the room was quiet again, but not for long before someone else knocked on the door.
"Yōichi-sensei, may we come in?"
After knocking, Kurenai and her team entered, carrying a fruit basket.
"Why are you here?"
Yōichi asked through a note, surprised that even his students knew he was hospitalized within half a day.
"It was Asuma who told us. We decided to come see you after discussing it. We didn't ask the nurse but found your room directly."
Rumi said, blinking, indicating that with her Byakugan, she could even see who was lying in the surgery room.
"Thank you for remembering your teacher. But remember, if I, being as strong as I am, can end up in a hospital bed because of a mission, if you don't train properly, you might end up in the morgue room."
Even injured and bedridden, Yōichi did not forget to instruct them, especially Kurenai, who, despite being a girl, was stronger than many boys.
Seeing the reprimanding note, Kurenai's face fell, and she was a bit unhappy; they had come to visit their teacher, only to be scolded.
Then Kurenai gave Rumi and Kazuhito a look, hinting at something. Rumi seemed tempted, but Kazuhito subtly shook his head, indicating he didn't want to go through with it.
Too cowardly!
Kurenai thought, then made a hand sign to cast a genjutsu.
She remembered Yōichi-sensei's words that they could attack him at any time and anywhere, and succeeding in a sneak attack would mean they completed their task.
This was a good opportunity. They hadn't wanted to do it before, but being scolded by Yōichi-sensei made her angry.
"Genjutsu: Night."
As soon as she completed the hand sign, Kurenai saw a pair of red eyes with three tomoe spinning slowly, and her consciousness blurred, eyes losing focus, along with Rumi, who had just taken a Gentle Fist stance. If they started fighting in the hospital room, they would surely be scolded by the nurses.
Kazuhito hurriedly explained, "Yōichi-sensei, I didn't make a move!"
"I know. Go get me a marker."
After receiving Yōichi's order, Kazuhito quickly brought back a marker and handed it to Yōichi.
Yōichi took the marker and wrote "Train Hard" on both Kurenai and Rumi's faces.
"Alright, you can leave now. Their genjutsu should wear off by the time they leave the Leaf Hospital."
After waving them off, Kurenai and Rumi walked out of the room like puppets, followed by Kazuhito.
Once outside the hospital, Kurenai and Rumi came to their senses and were confused about their location.
"You two were trying to sneak attack Yōichi-sensei but ended up hypnotized by his Sharingan. Oh, and you might want to wash your faces first."
Kazuhito advised. Then, Kurenai and Rumi noticed the writing on their faces, with Kurenai clenching her fists in anger, "I will succeed next time!"
Rumi sighed, "Kurenai, Yōichi-sensei is too strong. He's only a few years older than us, but I feel he's even stronger than our clan head. It's better to give up."
"No, there's always a way."
Kurenai refused to give up, but they decided to wash their faces first and then wait to ask their father for a way to counter the Sharingan.

"Fugaku, I'll leave this matter to you. It's not a demand but a need for the village. We can exchange something with him if he agrees, even if it involves forbidden jutsu. If you're busy, you can ask someone close to Yōichi-kun and the Uchiha clan to relay this message."
Hiruzen kindly requested Fugaku's help. Now that the Amber Purification Pot was returned to Yōichi, its significance to the village was immense, so he wanted to negotiate an exchange with Yōichi.
However, he heard that Fugaku and Yōichi didn't get along well, so he hinted that Fugaku might want to find someone else to talk to Yōichi.
After Yōichi's recent achievements, it was difficult for Hiruzen to bring up the matter, and among the Uchiha, only Fugaku had significant influence.
"I understand, Third Hokage."
Although Fugaku was uncertain, he agreed. He planned to discuss it with Kenji after returning. If Kenji disagreed, there was nothing he could do.
Being the clan head was stifling, especially with Yōichi's obvious desire to lead, forcing him to make changes.
Patrolling day and night, completing missions, and fighting for the police force's reputation were part of his duties.
Leaving the Hokage's office, Fugaku pondered the matter, finding no solution until he realized he was already home.
"Clan head, you're back."
Yozora hurried to help him with his shoes, then continued, "Mikoto-san is busy, Itachi just finished eating and is now studying. I'll prepare lunch for you."
Due to the police force's three-shift patrol, Fugaku sometimes missed meal times.
After lunch, Fugaku went to the study, previously a bedroom but now often used by Mikoto for work and paperwork.
Knocking and entering, Fugaku found Mikoto busy with documents.
"Fugaku, you're back?"
Mikoto glanced up, then continued her work, summarizing recent earnings and the success of the ninja game's first week, surprised by the game's profits and the clan's needs.
"Fugaku, do you want to see?"
Mikoto hesitated but asked, feeling like a spy but obliged to fulfill Fugaku's requests.
"That guy really knows how to stir things up, especially during a war," Fugaku commented dismissively after seeing the game's earnings, disapproving of the unconventional money-making methods.
Mikoto wanted to remind him that she had organized the documents, but decided against speaking out.
"Fugaku, did you need something?"
"Checking on you. Mikoto, will you report these to him?"
Since Yōichi completed a mission against the Cloud ninja and broke the Third Raikage's arm, Fugaku referred to him dismissively.
Seeing Yōichi's profitable ventures, Fugaku grew uncomfortable with his influence within the clan.
"These aren't urgent, and Yōichi is hospitalized. Let's wait for his discharge."
"Mikoto, why don't you go today and also relay a request from the Third Hokage? He wants to speak with him."
Fugaku suddenly mentioned Hiruzen's request, hoping Mikoto could mention it first. He planned to discuss it with Elder Kenji. If that didn't work, he had no other options.
After some thought, Mikoto agreed to visit Yōichi on Fugaku's behalf and convey the Hokage's message.
Although Fugaku was initially reluctant to use his name in the request, considering Mikoto was assisting him, he reluctantly agreed.
Mikoto prepared to leave, picking up the documents and buying some fruit on the way to the hospital, a customary gesture for visiting an injured person.
Walking on the street, Mikoto felt the gazes of others on her.
Arriving at the Leaf Hospital, she inquired about Yōichi's room and headed upstairs.
Yōichi, being wealthy, had a private room in the hospital.
Knocking on the door, Mikoto was surprised to see a young girl with black hair and red eyes answer, causing her to hesitate before asking for Yōichi.
"You're at the right place. Yōichi-sensei is here. Please come in," Kurenai said.
Once inside, Mikoto saw Yōichi, freshly bandaged, and introduced herself as visiting on behalf of Fugaku.
"Come in. But it's time for you to leave and focus on your training. The battlefield awaits you soon," Yōichi managed to say, his voice still weak from healing.
After Kurenai and Rumi left, Mikoto sat down, her modern attire catching Yōichi's eye.
Her tailored suit accentuated her figure, and the short skirt highlighted her well-shaped legs, complemented by subtly sheer black stockings.
Indeed, Mikoto-san's attire was a different experience from Mina's white stockings.
Noticing her outfit, Yōichi asked, "Mikoto-san, what brings you here?"
(End of Chapter)
"Some reports, mainly about the profits from the ninja game and a summary of the clan's needs. I also wanted to visit you and see how you are doing. You've been through a lot, Yōichi-kun."
Mikoto briefly stated her purpose before presenting her gifts.
"This isn't urgent. I've just had my bandages changed and can't hold anything right now. I'll look at it after you leave."
Yōichi spoke slowly, then slightly smirked and continued, "I might believe you came to visit, but Fugaku certainly wouldn't bother. He'd probably prefer if I were dead."
"That's not true, Yōichi-kun. You're misunderstanding Fugaku. He doesn't think that way."
"Let's not, Mikoto. No need to explain."
Yōichi didn't believe Mikoto's explanation. After nearly killing Fugaku and now vying for his position as clan head, their ideologies too divergent, coexistence seemed impossible.
"Is there anything else?"
"Yes, there is one more thing. Fugaku asked me to speak with you on behalf of the Third Hokage. He wishes to exchange the Amber Purification Pot with you."
Mikoto was somewhat embarrassed, having just mentioned Fugaku's visit and now bringing up this request. She wished she had approached it differently.
"As expected, Mikoto-san, please tell Fugaku to inform the Third Hokage that this matter is not up for negotiation. The item is mine, and I won't exchange it."
Yōichi scoffed. It was just like Fugaku.
Mikoto didn't know what to do next. Fugaku had only asked her to pass on the message, but Yōichi-kun seemed somewhat upset upon hearing it.
"Thank you for your efforts today, Mikoto-san, and for bringing gifts. It must have been hard."
"Sorry, Yōichi-kun. Fugaku just wanted me to pass on the message without insisting."
"Well, my answer is no, and it doesn't matter who asks."
After speaking, Yōichi slowly got up, preparing to get out of bed.
Seeing this, Mikoto asked, "What are you planning to do, Yōichi-kun? Let me help."
"I need to use the restroom. I can manage on my own."
Mikoto blushed at his words, then sat back down, embarrassed. However, she noticed Yōichi's bandaged arms and offered, "Yōichi-kun, you must be inconvenienced right now. Let me find someone for you."
But before she could finish, Yōichi interrupted, "There's no one to take care of me here."
"In that case..."
Suddenly, remembering Yōichi-kun's earlier misunderstanding, Mikoto blurted out, "I'll help you, Yōichi-kun."
After saying it, she froze, realizing what she had just offered, too late to take it back.
"Okay, then I'll count on you, Mikoto-san."
"Ah?"
Lady Mikoto was stunned, not expecting to have said that or for Yōichi-kun to accept.
But now, retracting her offer might lead Yōichi-kun to think she was playing games with him, especially after the misunderstanding regarding the Third Hokage.
"Yōichi-kun, I...ah, Yōichi-kun?"
Before she could explain, Yōichi-kun had already headed to the restroom, leaving Mikoto breathing rapidly, caught between embarrassment and duty.
After hesitating, she decided to help, reassuring herself, "Mikoto, this is helping a patient. Don't overthink it. Yōichi-kun is a hero of the Leaf; forget the past, it doesn't matter."
Then, after a deep breath, she knocked on the restroom door and entered.
Inside, Mikoto stuttered, "Yōichi-kun, let me assist you."
"Thank you, Mikoto-san."
"It's okay. You're a hero of the Leaf, injured for the village. This is the least I can do.
...
...
It took a while to remove the black pure cotton and pantyhose, but deciding what to do with them afterward caused her a headache.
Carrying them out would seem odd, and keeping them on might leave a scent. After pondering, she bit her lip and decided to throw them in the trash can, then hid it in a corner to avoid being seen.
She planned to buy a bag later, return, and dispose of the items properly.
After leaving the restroom,
Mikoto saw Yōichi on the bed and quickly bowed in apology, "Yōichi-kun, I'm sorry for the mishap."
The 'grip' was too tight; it was highly inappropriate - no, not just inappropriate, but utterly wrong.
"Ah, Mikoto-san, it hurt so much I thought about seeing a doctor. What if there's a problem?"
"I'm so sorry!"
"Would you take responsibility if there were a problem, Mikoto-san?"
"Eh? I'm terribly sorry, Yōichi-kun!"
Mikoto was at a loss and kept bowing in apology.
Yōichi knew this was Mikoto's limit for the day.
Further discussion would only lead to repeated apologies.
Yet, seeing Mikoto-san's continuous bowing and apologies, especially without her pantyhose, revealing her bare long legs, was somewhat amusing.
Given his current succubus body, engaging in any further physical interaction with women could lead to dehydration and death within three minutes.
"Let it be, Mikoto-san. You should go."
"Yes, yes, I'm very sorry, Yōichi-kun."
Mikoto bowed again in a flurry, then took the documents and left.
After she departed, Yōichi thought to himself, "What an easy person to deceive."
Not long after, Mikoto knocked and re-entered, her face flushed as she said, "Sorry, Yōichi-kun, may I use the restroom again?"
Without waiting for Yōichi-kun's response, she went straight in and came out within a couple of minutes, carrying a bag that clearly contained something.
Seeing this, Yōichi clicked his tongue, realizing she hadn't taken it with her initially.
————————————————
In the Cloud Village.
Suddenly, a figure appeared on the platform for the Heavenly Transfer Technique.
The Cloud ninjas guarding the area were shocked to find that the person transported back was the Third Raikage, who had lost an arm.
"Someone, quickly go inform and call for medical ninja."
The notion of the Raikage being injured was unimaginable to many Cloud ninjas, who believed only a rampaging Eight-Tails could harm their leader. Yet, they had to accept the reality before them.
Soon, Doroi and medical ninja arrived to treat and bandage the Raikage's wounds, which took some time due to the carbonized nature of the injury.
"Everyone, leave."
After clearing the room, Doroi asked, "Raikage-sama, what happened?"
The Third Raikage, his eyes filled with murderous intent, gritted his teeth, "Doroi, I want to attack the Fire Country, kill those Leaf ninja."
"Alright, I'll send a message immediately for Ai and Killer Bee to return. Raikage-sama, please recover from your wounds."
Doroi didn't question the timing or inquire about the others' conditions, choosing instead to accommodate the Raikage's wishes.
The revelation that Leaf possessed ninja capable of injuring the Raikage and annihilating his accompanying forces, necessitating his return via the Heavenly Transfer Technique, was a sobering realization.
Planning for war against Leaf meant ensuring stability with the Rock Village to avoid a two-front conflict. However, with Ai and Killer Bee away on a mission in the Earth Country, this posed a challenge.
As Doroi left to convey the message, he convened the Cloud Village's leadership to discuss the situation, committed to fully supporting the Raikage's decision.
After expelling the Third Raikage from the scenario, the Fire Country's northern border saw a significant gathering of ninja, a precaution by Hiruzen.
Shikaku served as the temporary commander, a strategic choice made in anticipation of conflict with Cloud Village.
Should war break out, Sarutobi would likely appoint someone else to take over; Shikaku's command skills were acknowledged, though his combat ability against formidable ninja was a concern.
Kikyō Castle witnessed significant battles, with Jiraiya and Minato repelling Sand's advances.
Minato avoided direct confrontations with Rōshi, leaving him to Jiraiya, who managed to fend off the Sand's attacks with additional support from Sarutobi and medical teams.
Aside from Kikyō Castle, no large-scale wars broke out elsewhere.
After six days in the hospital, Yōichi was discharged, his wounds healed thanks to medical ninjutsu and medication.
This mission elevated his reputation within the village and cemented his status, nearly adding "nearly killed the Third Raikage" to his list of accolades.
Even jōnin within the village now treated him with a newfound respect, acknowledging his strength.
His possession of the Six Paths Tools and Mabumu's flesh, if he mastered the Reanimation Jutsu, promised a significant advantage.
Beyond the monetary rewards, his status and fame within the village saw a considerable boost, aligning his reputation with his proven strength.
