Chapter 74: Chapter 74 Surprise
The tension at the guild was so high that you can cut it with a spoon (yeah I meant spoon). Everyone was worried about the fact that Karna was arrested and taken away by the council abruptly. Erza was tightening her fists in anger. Gray was so worried that surprisingly he was fully clothed. Mira was sitting rather than doing her usual work. Everybody else rather than doing their usual drinking and merrying also had a worried look on their faces.
"get me out already" there inside a glass, a salamander was trapped shouting to get out.
"hey, I said I am sorry just let me go already" and in another glass, a blue salamander was trapped as well.
This time unlike the cannon, Erza was present in the search for Natsu, so they were easily able to identify Macao transformed into a salamander and Natsu hiding in the nearby bushes, so the guild decided to trap both of them in salamander forms using Master's magic.
"You might create more problems while acting out Natsu and Macao consider this as a small punishment for what you did. Even if you were paying back Natsu, you should have known that you will put him in more trouble if you had let him go" Makarov said while keeping his eyes shut.
"ah damn it" Natsu kept on whining from the bottle
"Master are you really not going to do anything about Karna's situation" Lucy asked a bit worried
Makarov sighed and replied
"the truth is because of being the guild master of the most problematic guild, the councillors are angry with me. I know a person in the higher part of that chain, but that person is currently out for some work"
"doesn't that mean there's nothing we can do for him Old man" Gray asked a bit worried.
Makarov opened his eyes
"the truth is Karna has a lot of political power from his lineage that he has not used yet. If he does he can get out of it easily"
"Lineage, what do you mean" Lucy asked a bit puzzled.
Seeing her confused Mira decided to enlighten Lucy
"since you are new Lucy you might not know it, but Karna is the only descendent of the first master of Fairy tail Mavis Vermillion"
"really" Lucy was surprised then her eyes widened even more as she remembered something. "wait do you mean Mavis Vermillion the fairy tactician, the person who brought absolute victory to the continent in the wizard war years ago was Karna's family member and the first master of Fairy tail"
Makarov grinned and continued from there
"yes she was and in this era due to his accomplishments, even though it is only known by the members of the council and the royal family, Karna is considered as the fairy tactician of this generation"
Lucy was surprised at the influx of the new knowledge she acquired. And just as this was over suddenly everyone saw Cana enter the guild without any sort of worried expression that everyone else was having.
"you don't look so worried about the situation Cana" Ultear asked. She too was worried about the situation but was doing her best not to show what she was feeling.
"haha" Cana deadpanned "well let's just say I am more worried about what he is going to do to them. I am pretty sure he looked like Porlyosika when he was taken away"
Everyone was surprised at this. They know being arrested will anger an ordinary person. But the Karna they knew was generally a calm person and the circumstances when he got angry was really rare and they knew Karna won't get Porlyosika level angry so quickly.
"what could have made him so angry Cana" Erza asked a bit confused
"well, it's nothing" Cana immediately blushed and cursed herself for giving too much description
Others were confused seeing that blush but Mira with her instincts was able to easily figure it out. She suddenly had a smile similar to her old rebellious days and she commented.
"well, no wonder, I would say any man would be angry if he got dragged away before he had private time with his girlfriend I suppose…. huhuhu" she laughed a bit slyly at the end
This made almost all the females in the guilds blush, idiot Natsu and Kid Romeo became confused while all the men started giving knowing perverted smiles to each other.
"SHUT UP MIRAAAA" Cana shouted out in embarrassment and suddenly the council Lacrima in the guild started shining and everyone looked towards it. The council had given all the legal guilds a Lacrima projector that can project what the council wanted to publish to the guilds
"TO ALL THE PEOPLE OF FIORE, THIS IS A MESSAGE MADE BY THE CURRENT COUNCILLORS PRESENT IN THE MAGIC COUNCIL"

Even though Karna changed his voice slightly so that other people of the continent won't be able to recognise him, his friends and family at the guild were able to easily recognise him.
Makarov began to have a bad feeling.

As every person in the continent looked at the screen, suddenly it began to project what was happening inside the councillor's hall to everyone

Everyone was shocked at what was being shown. There were many council members rotating in a circle with each person's face in the next person's crotch. this shocked everyone watching it for a few moments, but later people started laughing at the display of what was happening.
Suddenly a few of them woke up. Seeing the situation, they are in they tried to move away but it only made it worse as it seemed like they were grinding on each other's crotch.
While at the guild
"hahahahahaha" everyone including Natsu was laughing at what was happening while the women were blushing. Ultear blocked Meredy's eyes immediately. Makarov was sweating at the problems that comes after this.
But the problems were not over. When Karna had got the bondage rope, he had only roughly read about the infinite part and the weakening part and had never tested it before. If he had spent the time to read the entire description, he would have found out that the properties of the rope include the ability to safely melt the clothes of the one's who are tied up.
Suddenly the laughter turned into full blown screams throughout the continent.
"MY EYESSS!!"

"I'M DONE I CAN'T GET MARRIED ANYMORE"

"SHUT UP" Cana shouted with embarrassment and horror at what she just saw
At the time Karna who was coming back saw what was happening. He immediately checked the description in the system completely this time.
"ah shit, I fu$ked up bad this time" he said while rubbing his temples because of the headache he was getting.
