Chapter 132, Conclusion of the Chunin Exams.

"As long as it's convincingly done, even falsehoods can become reality."

Raijin addressed Kurama Yunma.

"What do you say? Shall we continue?"

With that, Raijin stood up, looking toward Kurama Yunma.

"No need. Let's leave it here. I look forward to future Genjutsu sparring session together."

Kurama Yunma responded. True sparring didn't require revealing all their techniques; simple exchanges would reveal the gaps between them.

As it stood, Kurama Yunma was acutely aware that Raijin's spiritual strength surpassed his own, reaching a higher realm.

"Very well, let's end it."

In the next moment, the entire world collapsed, and the real world reappeared before Raijin.

Kurama Yunma sighed inwardly. Could breaking his own jutsu really be this effortless?

Indeed, the strength of Genjutsu primarily depends on the intensity of one's spiritual power, much like Taijutsu's strength relies on physical stamina and Ninjutsu's strength on chakra control and nature transformation.

As the Genjutsu concluded, both nodded in acknowledgment, having settled their differences. They then left the stage.

To the Five Kage, this exchange appeared as a mere few minutes of eye contact between the two...

Communication between spirits was remarkably swift.

Nara Shinkichi also stepped onto the field.

"In the third round, second match, Uchiha Raijin wins!" Nara Shinkichi announced after a brief pause.

"For the third round, third match, it's Hyuga Yang versus Tsunade."

Since Orochimaru had conceded in the first round, Hyuga Yang hadn't expended any energy. Thus, the semifinals began directly.

The two stepped onto the stage, exchanged sealing gestures, and after completing the seals, Hyuga Yang asked Tsunade, "Are you surrendering?"

"Why would I surrender?" Tsunade furrowed her brows, puzzled.

"Well, I surrender," Hyuga Yang nodded, addressing NaraShinkichi on the platform. He believed that going all out for a potential second place, with uncertain results and potential injuries, wasn't worthwhile. Perhaps focusing on training would be more meaningful.

"Very well, in the third round, third match, Tsunade wins!" Nara Shinkichi announced the results. The purpose of the Chunin Exams had been achieved, and the subsequent proceedings were merely formalities.

"Now, for the finals: Raijin versus Tsunade, begin!" Nara Shinkichi continued, having been informed by Senju Tobirama during Raijin's match with Kurama Yunma.

The Chunin Exams needed to conclude swiftly.

"So soon?!" Raijin blinked, surprised, glancing at Senju Tobirama in the stands.

Senju Tobirama, sensing Raijin's gaze, impatiently tilted his chin. Though he didn't speak, Raijin understood his meaning.

Hurry up!

Raijin moved swiftly, appearing before Tsunade. They exchanged opposing seals.

Then, Raijin blinked at Tsunade, looking somewhat perplexed, standing still.

Observing this, Tsunade sighed, realizing that Raijin, despite his appearance, wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

"I surrender," Tsunade said, exasperated, to Nara Shinkichi.

They had agreed not to take the glory that rightfully belonged to Raijin.

Even though Tsunade was in good shape, Raijin was no slouch either.

Clearly, Kurama Yunma hadn't posed much trouble for Raijin.

Tsunade knew she wasn't Raijin's match. Rather than fighting him here, she preferred to end this tedious exam and go enjoy some good food together.

"In the finals, Raijin wins!" Nara Shinkichi's raised eyebrow conveyed his surprise. Honestly, he had expected Tsunade to take the top spot in the Chunin Exams.

To everyone's surprise, Tsunade actually surrendered.

From the looks of it, Raijin seems to have a pretty good standing in his family, doesn't he?

As Nara Shinkichi's words fell, the two of them returned to the stands hand in hand, without even forming a reconciliation seal.

...

"What a splendid exam."

With the appearance of the first place, the five Kage also stood up one after another. Kazekage, with a smile on his face, said to Senju Tobirama.

"Sigh... I'm still far from it, mainly because I was lucky."

Senju Tobirama responded modestly upon hearing this.

"It seems that Konohagakure's modesty does have its roots."

Raikage said to Senju Tobirama upon hearing this.

"Konohagakure has always been very modest. This is also the insistence of my brother, Senju Hashirama."

Senju Tobirama said with a light laugh upon hearing this.

...

"Congratulations on getting first place."

On the stands, Orochimaru walked over to Raijin with a smile on his face.

"Heh, does the fifth place even deserve to talk to the first place?"

Upon seeing Orochimaru, Raijin immediately spoke to Orochimaru with an arrogant look on his face.

Orochimaru pursed his lips upon hearing this. Very well, this guy is starting to act up again.

"If you hadn't conceded, our team would have swept the top three places. Instead, some unknown ninja's disciple got a bargain."

Just as Orochimaru was about to say something, Sarutobi Hiruzen's voice suddenly rang out.

"Damn it! Are you saying that your disciple can easily defeat my disciple?! My disciple is a member of the Hyuga family!"

Danzo's furious voice suddenly rang out, and the next moment, Danzo's figure appeared in front of Sarutobi Hiruzen.

"Hyuga? Byakugan? Can your disciple hit Aoda's acupoints?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen laughed dismissively upon hearing this, and looked at Shimura Danzo without showing any weakness.

"Come on! Try it! Our Shimura family's training ground is very big!"

Danzo was immediately enraged, his face turning red.

"What are you trying? Is it hard to admit that others are excellent?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen sneered upon hearing this, and said to Shimura Danzo.

With that, Sarutobi Hiruzen turned around and walked towards the outside of the exam field, saying as he walked.

"However, sweeping the first and second places is still worth celebrating. As a teacher, I'll treat you guys to a rest at the Konohagakure bathhouse!"

Upon hearing this, the three Raijin naturally had nothing to say. After greeting Danzo, they followed Sarutobi Hiruzen.

On the way, Orochimaru sighed softly.

"I knew I shouldn't have surrendered."

"Actually, surrendering isn't a bad thing."

Raijin said to Orochimaru upon hearing this.

"Mm, I think so too. This way, we can reduce the leakage of our own information."

Orochimaru laughed lightly upon hearing this. Orochimaru knew that Raijin understood him.

"What I mean is... if I really lost, there would be no suspense at all."
