Chapter 493: Bringing her back

"Please let go of us!" one of the women in the crowd could no longer stop herself from beseeching the man who had gone crazy. "We truly did not know that she was related to you. If we had then–we would have never touched her. It's Arabella who lied to us." 

Nicolai threw the woman, who was just a breath away from dying. Death was too simple. He wanted these people to lose everything that they held dear. A smile crept on Nicolai's lips as he turned to the woman. "You had no idea, and yet you seemed to have caused trouble for Miss Harlow as if you knew better than anyone." 

"Please..please –we did not touch her! We never even bothered her in the first place, it's them who hurt her," one of the men pleaded. He was close to kneeling while eyeing Nicolai warily.
