Chapter 56: Twisted opinions meets Twisted reality

"Watch where you are going——" Glynn stopped in the middle of her sentence as a sudden chill scraped at the back of her neck, followed by bone-shattering fear, just as Nicolai De Luca turned and looked at her. 

He arched a brow at her in sick amusement as he questioned, "Were you talking to me?"

Glynn felt as if all her senses were now working in a hyperventilating manner. Her brain was simply unable to keep up with what was happening, and she felt it short-circuit somewhere. She took several steps away from Nicolai, feeling the beating of her heart reverberating in her chest. 

"What's wrong? Why are you stepping back? You did not answer my question," Nicolai stated as he looked at the woman in front of him. His eyes were flickering with a sadistic glint which made Glynn shiver in fright.
