Chapter 50: Hot Interruption

Unable to endure her silence any longer, David loomed above Carissa's drenched form, his gaze locking onto hers with surprise. "Do you require another round before you respond?" He playfully quipped, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Perhaps," she mumbled, averting her gaze. At first, she seemed flustered as she absentmindedly drew ethereal circles on the bedsheets. But in the blink of an eye, her embarrassment dissipated, replaced by a welcoming smile.

"So, it's another round then?" David leaned closer. As Carissa's lips parted slightly, he caught a hint of disbelief in her eyes, prompting him to press his lips against hers in a scorching kiss. Pulling back, he posed the question for the third time. "Can we officially date? Will you be my girlfriend?"

Despite struggling to catch her breath at that moment, exhilaration overwhelmed Carissa, urging her to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him closer, their bodies aligning in perfect synergy.
