Chapter 108: Happy Pill

When Vladimir planted a gentle kiss on Athena's forehead, she just closed her eyes and stayed still, savoring the moment. 

For the past two years, she had to admit that Vladimir had given her several signs about his feelings for her, however she chose to turn a blind eye to it because she had to focus on her goal.

Vladimir was a guy whom a woman could ever ask for. She was grateful for his feelings for her. She even felt flattered. Yet, she wasn't ready to open her heart again and be in a relationship.

Maybe… if her wounds would be healed in time, she might be able to give herself a chance and entertain the thought of trying to fall in love again. And she hoped, after getting her revenge, she could fall for the right man.

She wasn't closing the door to opening her heart to Vladimir. But this was not the right time for that.
