"Nike, my lord," she told me her name, which was one of the Greek goddesses, who was known to have a connection to wreaths.
"Rise, I'm not like my original. I don't take pleasure in enslaving others." I told her, she sighed in relief and stood up. "Now, I want to see the vision of the future."
"Knowing the future is a dangerous thing, my lord. I don't think it is wise." Nike told me, looking like she wanted to cower in fear.
"I may not enjoy enslaving others, but that doesn't mean I won't use the link we have to force you," I told her, grasping my hand around an invisible chain around her neck. Her hands flew up to her neck when she saw the chain start to form.
"P-Please, don't make me, my lord. You will only see pain and suffering," she begged, still not showing me the vision.
Getting impatient, I tugged the chain, throwing her to my feet. Pulling her toward me I glared down into her eyes. "SHOW ME!" I yelled angrily, unintentionally using the enslaved aspect of the chains and releasing some of my newfound power with my draconic side. A red aura erupted from my body shrouding us in the energy.
Nike cried out in fear and tears went down her face. She evaporated into a blue mist and the surrounding area started the change. When I noticed the scenery change my aura started disappearing while I paid attention to the vision.
It showed me battling the gods with my peerage. It looked to be a difficult fight for everyone. The only ones who were able to keep up with the gods were me and Ravel. Raven was close, showing off all sides of the maiden powers. Everyone else was trying to stay out of the range of the attacks constantly erupting into bats and dodging.
We were gaining the upper hand when Ravel destroyed the God of Darkness' right arm with a phoenix flame. At the same time, my vision self did a partial transformation and flame traveled behind the God of Light. My claws and feet latched on to the God of Light and started tearing his back apart like a feral animal.
"FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" Vision Mavros yelled, into the wound of the God of Light, causing flames to seep through his whole body.
It was only at this time the Gods were retreating a little looking scared. However, before we could finish them off they started glowing with a bright white light. That emitted holy energy however we could all feel the tainted feeling behind it. Like the caster had dark emotions.
"NO! YOU WRETCH! WE DON'T FOLLOW YOU!" The God of Darkness(GOD) yelled, switching between his dragon form and humanoid form, screaming in rage.
"BROTHER! FIGHT IT! WE WON'T BE ABLE TO COME BACK FROM THIS!" The God of Light(GOL) yelled, also switching between his dragon form and humanoid form struggling to stay in control.
My peerage and I were blasted off our feet when the GODS exploded. Their energies started forming into a ball of darkness and light.
While this was going on an unmistakable sweet and elegant voice sounded through the area. "Oh, Mavros. I told you, I would end you. I may not have been able to finish you last time, but I realized that I can just give others my powers. Even if you do end up stopping them. Their power will become mine and I get mine again." Hikari said, laughing at our misfortune.
"Who are you?!" Ravel yelled, in a new form I didn't know she had. She looked like a true phoenix.
"Oh, he didn't tell you birdy?" Hikari mocked, making all my peerage get more on guard. "I am his-"
"DON'T YOU DARE!" I screamed in the vision stopping her. "They have nothing to do with this!"
"Nothing... you think they have nothing to do with this. How naive can you be? If you would have loved me as you did them... NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED FATHER!" Hikari yelled, shocking most of my peerage. It was at this moment the orb the gods were in started cracking.
"ROARRRRRR!" a large two-headed dragon broke out of the orb. One head was black and the other was golden with silver eyes. They started thrashing around like they were wild animals.
"Oh, looks like they lost their minds. They should still be able to fight though. Have fun Father!" Hikari said, giggling and going silent.
The GODS looked toward us and both heads started gathering power in their mouths before shooting it toward me and my peerage.
"NOOO!" Both me in the vision and myself watching the vision tried saving my peerage, but both of us were too slow. The breath of the two gods devoured my vision of myself and everyone with me. We all screamed out in pain before a large dust cloud went up into the air blocking my view.
When the dust settled I was the only one left. My body was all scarred up from the blast and breathing heavily. I've felt anger before and the most anger I felt was seeing Cardin and his team trying to rape Eri. However, now even though I knew it was a vision I was still filled with rage.
I saw myself in the vision holding something in his hands. Getting a closer look, it was my peerage pieces. The only one missing was the queen. Tears fell down my face and I grasped the pieces close to my chess. In the vision, I looked toward the GODS and my eyes turned into deep red slits before the vision stopped.
"I'm sorry, my lord. I didn't want to show you. I knew it would only cause you pain." Nike said, appearing in front of me.
Still crying I looked up to her. "Thank you," I said, wiping away the tears.
"What?" she said, confused and taken by surprise. "You never thanked me for showing you things you didn't want to see."
