Chapter 15: chapter 15: surviving the unknown part 3

Orion's first person view

It has been I don't know several months since I've been trapped in this fucked up temple in another alien world

I've already ran mad, now I'm now following the voices which led me to a giant door with several inscriptions

Steeling my muscular body that I had gained in this temple of hell I began to crack it

It actually opened I snorted with an IQ of 280 of course I can open it

It stood a door what the hell

I giant monster like golem stood infront of the throne it's eyes opened upon seeing me and instantly it got up raising it's giant sword several energy orbs formed inside it's body as it rushed to attack

OH C'MON

Taking out my bone sword I attacked it I only had my physical strength and I had to fight this monstrosity who didn't just have a weapon it has multiple blasters

I was thick with the scent of ancient stone and dust as I faced the monstrous golem. Its eyes, now glowing a fiery red, locked onto me with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. The ground trembled with each step it took, the colossal sword in its hand radiating a sinister energy. I tightened my grip on the bone sword, feeling the rough texture of its surface against my calloused palms.

Me;Alright, big guy

I muttered, more to myself than to the beast,

Me:let's dance.

With a deafening roar, the golem lunged forward, its sword slicing through the air with a force that created a gust of wind. I rolled to the side just in time, feeling the ground shatter where I had been standing moments before. The golem was quick for its size, and as I regained my footing, it was already bringing its sword down for another strike.

I parried with my bone sword, the impact sending a jolt through my arms. Sparks flew as the two weapons clashed, the sound of metal against bone echoing through the chamber. The force of the blow pushed me back, but I managed to stay on my feet, muscles straining under the pressure.

The golem didn't relent. It swung its sword in a wide arc, forcing me to duck and weave to avoid being cleaved in two. I could feel the energy orbs forming within its body, crackling with power as they began to launch toward me. I dodged the first few, their explosive impacts leaving craters in the stone floor.

Me:Can't catch a break, can I?

I grunted, leaping over a particularly large orb that whizzed past my head.

I needed a plan, and fast. The golem's attacks were relentless, and I could feel my strength waning. I darted forward, aiming for the joints in its massive legs. My bone sword struck true, chipping away at the enchanted stone. The golem bellowed in rage, swinging its sword down with renewed fury. I barely managed to roll out of the way, my shoulder grazing the edge of the blade.

Me:Time to get creative

I thought, scanning the chamber for anything I could use to my advantage.

My eyes landed on a series of stone pillars lining the walls. If I could bring them down, maybe I could trap the golem or at least slow it down. I sprinted toward the nearest pillar, the golem hot on my heels. With a mighty swing, I slashed at its base, feeling the stone crack under the force of my blow.

The pillar began to topple, and I quickly moved to the next one. The golem roared, clearly understanding my plan. It launched a barrage of energy orbs in my direction, and I zigzagged to avoid them, feeling the heat of their explosions at my back. I hacked at another pillar, and another, each one falling closer to the golem, limiting its movement.

Finally, with one last strike, the final pillar came crashing down, pinning the golem's sword arm to the ground. It struggled to free itself, bellowing in frustration. Seizing the opportunity, I rushed forward, aiming for its core. My bone sword pierced through the enchanted stone, and the golem let out a deafening scream, its body convulsing as energy erupted from within.

But it wasn't over yet. The golem, in a last-ditch effort, managed to free its arm and swung its sword in a wild arc. I jumped back, but not fast enough. The blade caught my side, and I felt a searing pain as it sliced through flesh. Gritting my teeth, I ignored the pain and plunged my sword deeper into the golem's core.

With a final, earth-shattering roar, the golem's body began to crumble, the energy within it dissipating in a blinding flash of light. I was thrown back by the force of the explosion, landing hard on the stone floor.

Breathing heavily, I pushed myself to my feet, clutching my wounded side. The golem was nothing more than a pile of rubble now, its once formidable presence reduced to dust. I limped toward the throne, my eyes fixed on the door behind it.

"I did it," I whispered, a mix of exhaustion and triumph in my voice.

The door loomed before me, its inscriptions glowing faintly. Whatever lay beyond it, I was ready.

The golem's sudden burst of speed caught me off guard. One moment it was crumbling, the next it was upon me, its massive fist slamming into my back. The force was immense; I felt my spine crack and a scream tore from my throat. Pain radiated through my body as I staggered forward, trying to keep my footing.

Before I could even think of retaliating, the golem's stone hand clamped around my bone sword. With a horrifying crunch, it snapped my weapon in two, discarding the pieces like they were nothing. It followed up with a devastating punch to my gut, knocking the wind out of me.

I doubled over in agony, clutching my stomach, but the golem wasn't done. Missiles sprouted from its body, launching in rapid succession. I dived to the side, rolling awkwardly to avoid the explosions. The heat from the blasts singed my skin, and debris pelted me from all directions.

Desperation fueled my next move. I dashed towards a nearby pillar, my muscles straining as I struck it with all my might. The stone cracked and I heaved it up, throwing the broken column at the golem. It barely flinched, its blasters firing and reducing the pillar to dust mid-air.

Blasters continued to manifest across the golem's body, each one locking onto me. I sprinted, dodging left and right as energy bolts and missiles rained down. My heart pounded in my chest, the pain in my back and stomach screaming with every movement. But I couldn't stop, not now.

Yet, my movements weren't enough. The golem moved with terrifying speed and precision. Its massive hand reached out and grabbed me by the head. Pain exploded in my skull as it slammed me into the ground, the impact jarring my entire body. Stars danced in my vision as it began to drag me across the hall, the rough stone tearing at my skin.

Each punch was a hammer blow, each kick a battering ram. My body was a canvas of bruises and cuts, blood flowing freely. The golem lifted me up and threw me against the wall, my body hitting with a sickening thud. I crumpled to the ground, struggling to breathe, to move.

But the golem gave no respite. It was on me again, hauling me up only to smash me back down. Pain was my world, my existence. I tried to fight back, to land any kind of blow, but my fists might as well have been striking iron.

It was relentless. Every time I tried to rise, it knocked me back down. Each time I thought I might have a moment to gather myself, it was there, punishing me. My vision blurred, my head ringing from the repeated impacts.

The golem's blasters formed again, the energy orbs charging up. I rolled weakly, trying to avoid the inevitable. Explosions rocked the hall, debris falling around me. I was thrown like a rag doll, my body battered and broken.

I lay there, struggling to breathe, every inch of me on fire. The golem approached, its eyes glowing with malevolent satisfaction. It raised its sword, ready to deliver the final blow.

My mind raced. I couldn't die here, not like this. I had to find a way, any way, to survive. Summoning the last of my strength, I forced myself to my feet. My legs trembled, my vision swam, but I stood.

"Come on, you big bastard," I growled through clenched teeth, spitting blood.

The golem swung its sword down, and I dove to the side, barely avoiding the lethal strike. I could feel the air rush past me as the blade embedded itself into the ground. Using the momentum, I rolled and grabbed a chunk of fallen debris, hurling it at the golem's head. It wasn't much, but it was all I had left.

The golem snarled, shaking off the hit. It turned, readying another barrage of attacks. I knew I couldn't take another beating like the last. My body was broken, my energy drained.

But I wasn't done fighting. Not yet.

I scrambled towards the remains of my shattered bone sword. The pieces were sharp, jagged. I grabbed them, feeling the cold bone bite into my palm. The golem advanced, its blasters firing again. I dodged as best I could, each movement sending waves of pain through me.

As the golem loomed over me, I waited for the right moment. When it raised its sword, I lunged forward with everything I had, driving the broken shards of my sword into the cracks in its armor. The golem roared, a sound of fury and pain, but it didn't stop.

It raised its sword, and I knew I had seconds left. Using every ounce of strength, I twisted the shards deeper, feeling the energy within the golem begin to falter. It staggered, and in that moment of hesitation, I threw myself to the side.

The golem's sword came down, but its movements were slower, less precise. It hit the ground where I had been, missing me by inches. The energy coursing through its body flickered, the cracks I had created spreading.

It wasn't over, but I had bought myself a moment. A moment to breathe, to plan. I forced myself up, every part of me screaming in protest. The golem turned, its eyes blazing, but I saw the hesitation, the uncertainty.

I was bloodied, broken, but not defeated. Not yet.

The world spun as pain ripped through me, my arm shattered by the golem's vicious kick. I screamed, a raw, guttural sound torn from my throat, but before I could even process the agony, a brutal punch smashed into my face. Stars exploded in my vision as I was sent hurtling backward, crashing through pillars that shattered like brittle bones.

Stone dust filled the air around me as I struggled to push myself up from the rubble. Blood dripped from my broken arm, mingling with sweat and dirt. Every movement was agony, but I couldn't afford to stay down. The golem approached, its massive form casting a shadow over me.

With a surge of adrenaline, I lunged to the side, narrowly avoiding its crushing blow. The ground trembled where the golem landed, its weight causing shockwaves to ripple through the stone floor. I scrambled to my feet, gasping for breath, my vision swimming with pain and exertion.

The golem advanced, its eyes gleaming with malice. Blasters emerged from its body once more, firing energy orbs that exploded around me. I rolled, dodging as best I could, but one blast grazed my side, searing flesh and eliciting another cry of pain.

I needed a plan, a way to turn the tide. Desperation fueled my movements as I dodged and weaved between the golem's attacks. With a burst of speed, I darted toward a fallen pillar, grasping a jagged piece of stone as I spun to face my relentless foe.

The golem charged, its sword raised for a devastating strike. I lunged forward, driving the stone shard into a crack in its knee joint. The golem roared, stumbling slightly, but its reflexes were still lightning-fast. It swiped at me with its free hand, and I ducked, narrowly avoiding being crushed.

But the blow was enough to knock the stone shard from my hand. I scrambled for another weapon, anything that could give me an edge. My fingers closed around a smaller fragment of stone, not much more than a sharp edge, but it would have to do.

The golem swung again, and this time I was ready. I sidestepped the blow and thrust the stone shard into its forearm joint. The golem bellowed, its grip loosening on the sword momentarily. Taking advantage of the opening, I darted in close, slashing at the exposed joint with the shard.

But the golem recovered quickly. With a backhand swipe, it sent me sprawling across the chamber floor. Pain shot through my body as I crashed into the remnants of a shattered pillar. I struggled to rise, my breath coming in ragged gasps, but the golem was relentless.

It closed in again, each step shaking the ground beneath me. Blasters fired, and I rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the explosive orbs. But the golem was too close now, its massive hand reaching down to seize me once more. I swung the stone shard wildly, aiming for any vulnerable spot I could find.

The shard struck true, piercing through the golem's wrist joint. It roared in fury, staggering back momentarily. I scrambled to my feet, clutching my broken arm, blood dripping from my wounds. The golem's eyes burned with fury as it swung its sword again, a deadly arc aimed straight at my head.

I ducked, the blade grazing my scalp, drawing a fresh line of blood. With a surge of desperation, I lunged forward, driving the stone shard into the golem's chest. It hesitated, energy flickering dangerously, but the golem was far from defeated.

With a roar, it grabbed me by the throat, lifting me off the ground with terrifying strength. I struggled, clawing at its stone fingers, but they held me fast. Darkness edged my vision as I fought for air, my world narrowing to the burning pain in my crushed windpipe.

But even as my vision dimmed, a spark of defiance burned within me. Summoning every ounce of strength left in my battered body, I drove the stone shard into the golem's wrist joint once more. It bellowed, its grip loosening just enough for me to slip free.

I hit the ground hard, gasping for breath, pain searing through every inch of me. The golem staggered back, its movements sluggish, its energy flickering dangerously. I struggled to my feet, swaying on unsteady legs, determination blazing in my eyes.

This was it. One final push. With a primal scream, I charged at the wounded golem, the stone shard gripped tightly in my trembling hand. It raised its sword in a last-ditch effort, but I ducked under the blade, driving the shard deep into the crack in its chest.

The golem convulsed, energy surging wildly before dissipating into nothingness. It collapsed to the ground with a deafening crash, its massive form crumbling into rubble. I stood over the fallen titan, breathing heavily, bloodied and broken but victorious.

The chamber was silent once more, save for the echoes of battle and the ragged sound of my own breathing. I sank to my knees, exhaustion washing over me in waves. The adrenaline faded, leaving behind a bone-deep weariness.

But I had won. Against all odds, I had survived. I had faced the golem,
