Chang Le had come to terms with the idea of his computer being infected; he was planning to sell the old thing anyway.
His heart had died in the game, and the computer seemed useless to him now.
Unexpectedly, the website link turned out to be real.
The so-called free game was actually downloadable.
With nothing better to do, Chang Le started playing the game.
As he grew older, his interest in games had waned. He no longer wished to delve into game content or bother with the controls.
"If this game is too complicated, then I'll just uninstall it," Chang Le mumbled as he tried playing for a couple of minutes.
"Huh?"
It was unexpectedly simple.
He didn't need to use the keyboard at all, just a mouse click to launch the pinball, then he just watched it bounce around chaotically.
And just like the email had stated.
It was indeed a bit relieving.
