Chapter 108: Chapter 001 : First Day At Academy
The early morning sun filtered through the curtains of a modest apartment, painting the room with a warm, golden hue. In front of a mirror stood Naruto Uzumaki, a lively six-year-old with vibrant yellow hair and sparkling blue eyes. At 3'9", he was ready to embark on a significant milestone: his first day at the ninja academy.
"Naruto, come down quick! Breakfast is ready!" called his mother, Kushina Uzumaki, from downstairs. Her voice carried a mix of authority and affection, a testament to the deep bond she shared with her son.
Naruto dashed out of his room, clad in a blue jacket with a high collar, paired with sturdy dark pants and sandals. His bright hair was tousled, adding to his boyish charm as his light blue eyes glittered with excitement as he bounded into the kitchen.
"Mom, what's for breakfast?" Naruto asked eagerly, sliding onto a chair at the dining table as Kushina, who was bustling around the kitchen with practiced ease.
With a warm smile, Kushina set a beautifully arranged breakfast on the table. "Grilled fish with steamed rice and a side of miso soup, just for your big day at the academy!"
"Thanks, Mom!" Naruto beamed, his eyes lighting up , more than it was already, as he looked at the food.
Kushina smiled as she took a chair beside him. Naruto waited for her to sat down, "Let's Eat!" Naruto said, as he started eating.
Kushina watched him fondly as she sipped her miso soup. "So, are you excited about your first day at the academy, Naruto?"
Naruto nodded vigorously, nearly knocking over his bowl. "Yeah! I can't wait to learn all the cool ninja stuff! Although, I know quite a bit already!"
Kushina smiled , "Yeah, You are genius just like your dad was," She said as if she was seeing the Minato she had met for the first time when they were in academy.
Naruto took a another sip from the soup, as he looked up excitedly, "Of Course, I will have to become the Hokage , just like him," Naruto said brimming with confidence.
Kushina chuckled, ruffling his hair affectionately. "Of course, you will! Just remember, listen to your teachers and work hard."
Naruto grinned, his face full of determination. "I will, Mom! And maybe I'll even make some new friends!"
"I'm sure you will, sweetheart. Just be yourself, and everyone will love you," Kushina reassured him, placing an extra piece of fish on his plate.
Naruto savored the meal, his mind buzzing with anticipation. "This is so good, Mom! Thanks for making my favorite breakfast."
"Eat up, quickly," Kushina said with a smile. "Mikoto said she'd bring Sasuke over, so you two can go to the academy together."
"Sasuke's coming?" Naruto's excitement bubbled over.
Kushina nodded. "Yes. Now, no more talking—just eat," she said warmly.
Naruto and Sasuke were very good friends. The reason was - the good relationship between Naruto's and Sasuke's family. Both Mikoto and Kushina we're good friends and even Minato had good relationship with Fugaku and all the Uchiha Clan.
Because of this reason, Kushina and Mikoto spend a lot of time together, so for that reason Naruto and Sasuke had a lot of time meeting each other and eventually became good friends & Itachi became a big brother like figure for Naruto - who often used to help the both boys learning new techniques and preparing them for the academy.Which was not very difficult for Itachi, if we keep out the fact that, he had very less time for it , because of being a honoured member of the Anbu Black ops of leaf village. But without that, the small time he used to get, was very much enough for the boys to get to learn new things from him. And Itachi also loved working with them , because how talented and skilled those boys were to adapt to new learnings. The both were true prodigy in terms of learning.

After breakfast, Naruto darted upstairs to grab his backpack, his heart racing with excitement. Just as he returned, there was a gentle knock at the door. Kushina opened it to reveal Mikoto Uchiha and her son, Sasuke, standing outside.
"Good morning, Mikoto! It's so lovely to see you," Kushina greeted, stepping aside to welcome them with genuine warmth.
Mikoto smiled back, her demeanor calm and graceful. "Good morning, Kushina."
Kushina bent down to Sasuke's level, her eyes twinkling. "And good morning to you, Sasuke! Are you ready for your first day at the academy?"
Sasuke nodded, a hint of nervous excitement in his eyes, "Yes!"
Before Kushina could reply, Naruto appeared at the top of the stairs, grinning widely. "Hey, Sasuke!" he greeted, as he walked over to the door, "Good Morning , Auntie." Naruto greeted Mikoto.
Mikoto smiled gently, "Good Morning." She responded, ""Take care of each other and have fun, alright?"
Naruto nodded, "Of Course." Naruto responded, as, "We will leave then !" He said, as he turned to Sasuke and Sasuke nodded with a slight smile.
"Are you still sure that I don't need to come with you two !?" Kushina asked.
"Of course, plus I am not alone, I have Sasuke with me. You don't have to come" Naruto said with a reassuring smile as they both said goodbye to Mikto and Kushina and left together.
Meanwhile, Mikoto and Kushina watched them leave standing at the front yard of the house, "Both of them has grown up Kushina , we need to put more trust on them now" Mikoto said with a reassuring smile to Kushina.
"Yeah." Kushina nodded, "Will you return home or..."
"No, I have to go for the market, I need to buy some stuff" Mikoto replied.
"Then wait for me , I need to go as well" Kushina said , as she walked inside as Mikoto also walked in.
"Has Itachi returned back yet !?" Kushina asked, as she was looking for something at the kitchen.
"No, it would take more days , this time" Mikoto replied.
"Let's go!" Kushina said , as they walked out of the house as Kushina locked the front door before leaving.
Meanwhile, Naruto and Sasuke was walking by the village towards the academy, as they were talking about their dreams as Ninjas.
"I want to become like Big Brother Itachi." Naruto spoke up, "He is the coolest person I have ever met," Naruto said with excitement.
In reality, from the first time Naruto met Itachi, he became like a role model for him. And even Itachi always been like a big brother to him, just as for Sasuke.
Sasuke nodded at Naruto's statement, "Yeah, I want to become like him too."
Naruto shifted the question, "When will he return , I can't wait to train with him again. And tell him about my first day at academy" Naruto said .
"we haven't been in academy yet, Naruto" Sasuke said
"Whatever, I will tell him after class" Naruto replied.
They spoke to each other as they went through village and in midst they were being greeted by many villagers , some of them even offered fruits and many things greetings as both of the 6 year old , seemed to be famous throughout the village, even at just 6 year of age.
[At The Academy]
After sometimes, they finally reached the academy , as they entered through the front door, and quickly was able to find out their classroom.
As they stepped in the class, many kids noticed them. "Look, it's Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha!" one kid whispered.
"Yeah, they're both really talented," another added.
Naruto looked over to all the students, as he finally found some familiar faces, as he waved at the three sitting at the last sit of the room.
Shikamaru, Choji & Ino ; Naruto met them quite a few times in playground and soon became good friend. While Ino having a crush on Naruto. Sasuke also noticed them , as they both walked up and reached their seat, "Hey , How are you all!?" He asked.
"We are good." Choji replied, while munching some chips in his hand.
After some speaking Naruto and Sasuke looked over at the remaining seats , as none of them were completely Empty.
"That seat," Naruto pointed at a middle seat at the side they were standing, as not only Sasuke , but everyone at the class looked at the seat Naruto was pointing towards.
A Girl girl with bright pink hair, was already seating at the bench Naruto was pointing towards, but she was alone , so there was space for 2 others to sit. Naruto especially choose that seat because, the girl was sitting the other side of the window , so Naruto could easily take the window side seat.
Sasuke also nodded his head, as they walked over beside the bench, "Hi...!" Naruto said , "Can we take a sit here !?" He asked with a gentle smile.
The Girl looked at both of them and immediately her cheeks turned more bright than her hair, as she nodded somehow, as she went to move to the other side.
"Wait... Don't, I would like to take the window seat" Naruto said , as she nodded.
After sometimes, they finally took their seats, and Naruto sat at the corner, and Sasuke took the middle seat.
Naruto turned around slightly towards the girl, "You are Sakura right !?" He asked.
She just simply nodded her head, "Yes, Sakura... Haruno"
"Nice to meet you. I am Naruto By the way" He said
Hearing Naruto , Sasuke also introduced himself, "I am Sasuke Uchiha" He said, not that they both needed any introduction, but Naruto wanted to make her feel more comfortable sitting with them, seeing her shyness.
After some moments, A voice called out, "Alright, everyone, settle down!"
The room quieted as Iruka Umino, their teacher, stood at the front. "Welcome to your first day at the academy," he said. "Today, you start your journey as students of the academy, to become Ninja of Leaf village one day."
Naruto felt excited. This was the beginning of his dream to become Hokage. He glanced at Sasuke, who nodded with a grin.
"Let's start with introductions," Iruka said. "Tell us your name and a little about yourself."
The students took turns speaking. As everyone gave their name one by one.
When it was Naruto's turn, he stood confidently, as everyone went complete silence,"I'm Naruto Namikaze, Nice to meet you all."
"I'm Sasuke Uchiha. Nice to meet you all as well" he said , as he sat down.
After sometimes, the introduction of each students finished.
"Now, as our introduction round has finished, and we became more familiar with each other, I will start your lesson. Before that, If I haven't already, I am Iruka , for you Iruka-sensei, now let's begin by...."
With that the first day of Naruto's academy started.
