"He did not kiss me."I lamented Carlotta and Vivi as they helped to change me. "It was a brush,a peck,an attempt but it wasn't a kiss."

"Sit stilI."Carlotta ordered,loosening my french twists.

"I understand your frustration,"Vivi said.

I smiled at her in the mirror.

"I had to lie with my face all day,even we while rode different carriages,aren't couples supposed to ride together after weddings?"

"Most certainly."Vivi replied taking the pins from my hair.

"Do not lie to her,Virginia.He is a King and she is a Queen,if the ride together and they both die in an accident,who will rule?"

"Lady Susannah."Vivi replied.

"Aren't you just smart?"Carlotta asked sarcastically.Staring at her as is if Vivi was the dumbest person she had ever met.All the maids in the room laughed.
