"It's going to work out eventually.You did an excellent job, Charles." I praised him, tapping him on the back.

He sipped some wine as his eyes roamed the chamber.

"I am not sure if I offered any good help.Kiara was pretty pissed."

I threw a blueberry in my mouth and nodded. "She can be feisty."

"It's surprising that they get along either way…if I remember correctly, Adriel didn't tolerate such."

"Now you see why I was so adamant for them to be together? Getting him jealous is the only way.He got it from his father."

"I doubt he is ever going to speak to me again."

I laughed and nudged him with my shoulder. "He will thank you later on."

I saw the carefree in Charles's countenance shrink as lines of deep worry settled within them.

"He will thank you later on."

"Are you hiding something from him?"

I chuckled and shook my head.

"Why will you ask that?"
