Chapter 6: Tests(4/?)

(A/N: I revised this chapter twice to make sure certain parts were correct enough, so now I just need to hope I didn't miss anything. Writing at night is a bit intense due to the lack of attention~)

(PS: I kinda ended up... talking a lot in the 'post-chapter' messages. Oh well! The pace of this chapter might be a bit weird (or very), I wanted to try something new as well. But I don't know why, I feel like something is missing; I just can't figure out what... T^T)

A tremendous amount of time was spent on Vesper's studies.

It wasn't something like 'Days' or simple 'Weeks'; the Wingding taught to Vesper by Mr.G was not just a language; it was something more.

It was a kind of language that resonated with reality itself, allowing changes to be made at the root of reality, enabling alterations to be made without strangeness being perceived by other beings who don't know this same language.

And precisely because of this ridiculous capability, Vesper spent so much time studying. His buffs were speeding up his learning rate by such a large margin that even Mr.G found it ridiculous.

In normal cases, Vesper would have taken 10 years even with a System helping him become smarter with every small part he understood. The buffs reduced this period of time even more, but not enough for him to learn everything in just one month.

Vesper spent 3 years in this plain studying the huge book given to him, a surreal amount of time that would have been impossible to spend studying if Vesper didn't have two special conditions.

The lack of need for sleep or mental rest due to his own Spiral Energy and his Veserithorn physiology; he did not belong to a mortal race.

The [Infinite] Determination he had within him.

Whenever Vesper thought he had done enough, his determination grew again, replenishing his interest and bringing him back to complete focus on his studies.

And yet, 3 entire years were used for the basics to be learned.

...

''☠︎⚐︎☠︎💧︎☜︎☠︎💧︎☜︎'' Strange sounds echoed across the vast plain as Vesper's mouth opened.

(Nonsense)

Vesper was lying on the huge closed book, his gaze directed straight at the sun without damaging his vision.

'I finally finished studying the basics, but at what cost?' He thought dramatically, recalling the amount of time he spent without fighting.

'Just kidding~ I must confess, these studies were much more interesting than just throwing myself into battles!' Vesper thought, his eyes replicating the sun due to his excitement, releasing a great deal of brightness.

During these 3 years of non-stop study of Mr.G's Wingdings, Vesper developed a great deal of intelligence due to the amount of information he received from both sides: the book and Mr.G. This made him feel a great attraction to the sensation of learning.

'Just thinking that this is purely the basics makes me incredibly excited!' Vesper stretched his limbs as he writhed with pure excitement, rolling a bit on top of the book.

[Mr.G: Are you finished with your studies?]

A message appeared in front of Vesper's eyes, making him control his excited state and let out a sigh.

[Vesper: Yes, Mr.G! The book has been completely understood and memorized~]

[Mr.G: Good. The important thing now is to root this knowledge deep within you as much as possible. So, before we start learning new things, get used to what you've learned.]

[Vesper: You got it~!]

[Mr.G: I'm finishing up Volume Ten, so when you're ready to start reading the Second, call me.]

[Mr.G: Good practice to you.]

Vesper gave a slight smile while reading Mr.G's messages, who at this point was like a kind of 'paternal figure' to him, even though not literally.

It was Mr.G who taught him how the most basic things worked and provided him with general knowledge about many things with this first volume. This is not to mention the amount of time Vesper spent talking to Mr.G to clear up doubts that arose over time.

This way, their bond slowly strengthened until they genuinely became teacher and student, without the need for purely talking or teaching each other through the Loyalty given to Vesper by the System.

''⚐︎☟︎✏︎ ⧫︎☟︎☜︎ ☼︎☜︎💧︎❄︎☼︎✋︎👍︎❄︎✋︎⚐︎☠︎💧︎ ☟︎✌︎✞︎☜︎ ✌︎☹︎💧︎⚐︎ 👌︎☜︎☜︎☠︎ ☹︎✋︎☞︎❄︎☜︎👎︎📪︎ ✋︎ ☟︎✌︎👎︎ ☞︎⚐︎☼︎☝︎⚐︎❄︎❄︎☜︎☠︎ ✌︎👌︎⚐︎🕆︎❄︎ ❄︎☟︎☜︎💣︎✏︎(Oh! The restrictions have also been lifted, I had forgotten about them!)'' Vesper declared suddenly as he remembered the self-imposed restrictions when he tried to learn/study something.

He disabled himself from opening the Status Window until he learned whatever he was studying, as well as preventing himself from doing any other tasks besides studying until he completely learned what he was studying.

The main reason for this, leaving the 'concentration' factor aside, was to increase Vesper's Focus attribute. If he could get stronger just by reading, why not take full advantage of it?

This was the line of thought that Vesper developed on his own and was approved by Mr.G, who even recommended some extra conditions, gradually shaping Vesper's personality.

''💧︎❄︎✌︎❄︎🕆︎💧︎(Status)'' Vesper murmured slowly while eagerly waiting for the Status Window to open.

Vesper's Mental attributes had increased in a ridiculously high manner, disregarding his Energy that increased purely due to his racial advantage.

Contrary to expectations, these three years didn't raise Vesper's mental capabilities to 500 due to his current 'limits.'

The higher the Status Limit, the faster the training speed for this Talent, something Vesper discovered while testing Wingdings to communicate with the System.

In this way, his attributes that had '1,000' as a maximum wouldn't evolve as ridiculously as those with 2,000, for example.

Of course, exceptions exist for every rule, so this cannot be taken literally.

''❄︎☟︎✋︎💧︎ ☠︎☜︎🕈︎ 💣︎✌︎💧︎❄︎☜︎☼︎✡︎📬︎📬︎📬︎✋︎ 👎︎⚐︎☠︎🕯︎❄︎ ☼︎☜︎💣︎☜︎💣︎👌︎☜︎☼︎ ✋︎❄︎📬︎ 🕈︎☟︎☜︎☠︎ 👎︎✋︎👎︎ ✋︎❄︎ ✌︎🏱︎🏱︎☜︎✌︎☼︎✍︎ (This new Mastery... I don't remember it. When did it appear?)''

''✌︎☟︎✏︎ 🕈︎☟︎☜︎☠︎ ❄︎☟︎☜︎☼︎☜︎ 🕈︎☜︎☼︎☜︎ ⚐︎☠︎☹︎✡︎ 📄︎📁︎📁︎ 🏱︎✌︎☝︎☜︎💧︎ ☹︎☜︎☞︎❄︎ ✋︎☠︎ ❄︎☟︎☜︎ 👌︎⚐︎⚐︎😐︎📪︎ ✋︎ 🕈︎✌︎💧︎ ✈︎🕆︎✋︎❄︎☜︎ ☞︎⚐︎👍︎🕆︎💧︎☜︎👎︎ ✌︎❄︎ ❄︎☟︎✌︎❄︎ ❄︎✋︎💣︎☜︎📬︎ (Ah! When there were only 200 pages left in the book, I was quite focused at that time.)'' He murmured, slightly embarrassed.

Vesper leaped from the top of the book, landing on the ground dramatically.

'I think it's time to return to the Challenges; obtaining the Machines Mr.G talked about should help me improve my knowledge for the next study session!' He had a determined look on his face as he imagined the incredible things he could achieve.

Once, Mr.G brought up a sudden topic while Vesper was talking about his Spiral Energy, something about an Energy that came from the Soul: [Determination], which worked similarly to Spiral Energy (though in weaker proportions but special).

This topic ended up lasting for hours due to the enormous amount of things Vesper discovered that Determination could do. Being able to amplify the power of others and create ridiculously strong weapons was just the tip of the iceberg!

'If I can make a Bow with Determination...'

''☟︎☜︎☟︎☜︎📬︎📬︎📬︎☟︎☜︎☟︎☜︎☟︎☜︎📬︎📬︎📬︎(Hehe...hehehe...)'' Vesper began to drool in ecstasy with this thought before snapping back to reality, shaking his head vigorously.

''☞︎⚐︎👍︎🕆︎💧︎✏︎ ☞︎⚐︎👍︎🕆︎💧︎✏︎ (Focus, focus!)'' He started stretching while his Focus Stats showed, allowing him to easily abandon that topic.

As Vesper stretched, some cracking sounds echoed across the plain due to the long time he spent without proper exercise.

''☟︎💣︎📪︎ ☟︎💣︎📪︎ ✋︎🕯︎💣︎ 👍︎☼︎✋︎💧︎🏱︎✡︎❞︎✏︎ (Hm, hm, I'm crispy~!)'' He proudly waved while his face turned slightly red.

'Shameful...'

He coughed lightly before opening the System Functions Tab.

'I wonder why I didn't do this earlier?' Vesper thought as he selected the {Missions} Option.

The {Missions} Tab suddenly opened, displaying a few things in front of him.

[Mission 1st: Complete the 5th Stage]

[Status: In Progress]

[Reward: {New Weapon Mastery of Choice}]

[Mission 2nd: Complete the 10th Stage]

[Status: In Progress]

[Reward: {Graduation Package}, {Random Weapon}]

''💧︎⚐︎ ❄︎☟︎✌︎❄︎🕯︎💧︎ 🕈︎☟︎✡︎ ❄︎☟︎☜︎ 💧︎✡︎💧︎❄︎☜︎💣︎ 👎︎✋︎👎︎☠︎🕯︎❄︎ ☠︎⚐︎❄︎✋︎☞︎✡︎ ✌︎👌︎⚐︎🕆︎❄︎ 💣︎✋︎💧︎💧︎✋︎⚐︎☠︎💧︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ (So that's why the System didn't notify about Missions...)'' Vesper commented as he observed the only two missions that appeared in this Tab, which were quite advanced for someone like him three years ago.

'Fortunately, my current self should be able to complete the 3rd Stage easily, and if all goes well, at least up to the 5th.'

'Normally, I would think up to the 10th Floor, but Mr.G warned me not to get overconfident in my abilities...'

He narrowed his eyes before waving his hand to close the Missions Tab.

'A Mastery, a Weapon, and a Graduation Package, probably from this place.'

[Correct.]

'Ah!' He remembered the existence of the System's questions when he saw it answering him.

[...]

During this time he spent studying, Vesper didn't use the System a single time, as if it were a challenge imposed on himself. Thus, he forgot to use it efficiently after three years without using it in any way.

''❄︎☜︎☹︎☹︎ 💣︎☜︎ ❄︎☟︎☜︎ 💣︎⚐︎💧︎❄︎ ✋︎💣︎🏱︎⚐︎☼︎❄︎✌︎☠︎❄︎ 🏱︎✌︎☼︎❄︎💧︎ ⚐︎☞︎ ❄︎☟︎✋︎💧︎ 🏱︎✌︎👍︎😐︎✌︎☝︎☜︎📬︎ (Tell me the most important parts of this Package.)''

[The package will unlock a new System function while providing the User with a kind of [World], which will be exclusively for the User.]

[In simpler terms: a larger Replica of this [Small World] that, instead of being a pure plain, will carry enough materials for the User to live self-sustainably while developing within their intellectual capacities.]

''🕈︎☟︎✌︎❄︎ ✋︎💧︎ ❄︎☟︎☜︎ ☹︎⚐︎👍︎✌︎❄︎✋︎⚐︎☠︎ ⚐︎☞︎ ❄︎☟︎✋︎💧︎ 🕯︎☼︎☜︎🏱︎☹︎✋︎👍︎✌︎🕯︎✍︎ (What is the location of this 'replica'?)''

[The Replica will be located outside the lines of Destiny, thus, in unexplored terrain for most beings, ensuring greater protection because those who walk in these areas are harmless until attacked.]

'A perfect 'base' for conducting my experiments then. I won't need to hold back with absolutely anything while in this place.' Vesper's Determination was ignited as he discovered this information.

''✌︎☹︎☼︎✋︎☝︎☟︎❄︎📪︎ ✡︎⚐︎🕆︎ 😐︎☠︎⚐︎🕈︎ 🕈︎☟︎✌︎❄︎ ❄︎⚐︎ 👎︎⚐︎📪︎ 💧︎✡︎💧︎❄︎☜︎💣︎✏︎ (Alright, you know what to do, System!)'' Vesper picked up his basic Bow that had been abandoned on the ground for a while as he infused Spiral Energy into it, removing all the dirt that had accumulated.

[The next phase will begin.]

A familiar light appeared in Vesper's field of vision, 50 meters away from him. He simply waited in silence while pointing his Bow, already loaded with the Spiral Energy Arrow, waiting for the light to dissipate.

When it dissipated, a red Hob-Goblin entered Vesper's field of vision.

[Hob-Goblin - Level 30 (Alive)]

A Spiral Energy Arrow tore through the air, hitting its target with tremendous speed.

[Hob-Goblin - Level 30 (Dead)]

A strong distortion began when the arrow hit the Hob-Goblin's brain before twisting the entire area within 20 meters around the Hob-Goblin, creating a crater as wide as it was deep.

[+33,000 EXP](Applied +1,000% Buff)]

[Part 4 has been completed.]

Vesper let out a satisfied noise as he observed the result of the arrow he shot. He was obviously controlling the amount of Spiral Energy put into the arrow to avoid putting ridiculous amounts.

The result of his control was this simple arrow that had only 5 times more Spiral Energy than the previous arrow, causing much more damage and obviously, faster.

'I should move on to the next stage after completing these next two parts.' The predictions he had made began to prove faulty; he wouldn't be stopped at the 5th Stage.

[Do you want to Start Part 4/5?]

[Y/N]

Vesper clicked [Y] before dozens of lights of this type began to appear. When everything was properly completed, Vesper was greeted with a quite pleasant sight that would undoubtedly be frightening for the Vesper from before.

An army of [Hob-Goblins] could be seen, more than 50. Their numbers were distributed among 20 Warriors, 25 archers, and 5 Shamans in the center of the formation, bringing a small glint to Vesper's eyes.

'If I use Destiny Theft on this, I can convert all the Skills into Experience while absorbing the understanding of Archery from the archers.'

It turns out that Mr.G had taught Vesper to think reasonably when it came to his Skills. One could say that this was within the 'basics' of that Enormous Book, after all, to learn Wingdings, one needed to have a mind that was at least astute due to the enormous effects that this Language could provide.

Vesper pulled the string of his Bow back when he saw the Hob-Goblins detect him, their cries filling the vast plain, signaling that they were giving orders and starting their attacks.

From his Bowstring, three spiral arrows appeared, completely occupying it before Vesper released the string, firing all three arrows in an impossible way.

'Fortunately, they don't depend purely on 'logic' to act; I can propel them with my own control.'

The arrows tore through the air and advanced towards the Hob-Goblins who were alarmed.

[Army of Hob-Goblin - Level 40]

[Danger Level: Threatening(4)]

On a scale of 1 to 10, this army of Hob-Goblins fell into the 4th lowest classification, which was quite interesting news considering what a 'threatening' Danger level could do.

'A Hero or a Hero Group is needed, huh...' He narrowed his eyes while observing the arrows approach, content to have such high mental stats to be able to process so many thoughts until the arrows arrived.

''💣︎✋︎☼︎☼︎⚐︎☼︎(MIRROR)''

A kind of strange event surrounded the arrows: they seemed to reflect reality itself. This same 'reflection' showed more than it should when three more arrows suddenly appeared, alarming the goblin warriors who were preparing to protect their army.

The first three arrows collided with the Warrior's barrier before twisting everything in an area of 20 meters individually. Their warriors were annihilated, while the Goblins slowly lost the ground on which they were standing.

A few moments later, before the ground under the goblins' feet disappeared completely, the other three arrows that emerged from the strange arrow event hit the center of the Group that became vulnerable, distorting their Shamans and archers into a bloody mess of flesh and bones.

[Multiple repeated actions detected.] / [The use of an unregistered ability has been detected.]

[The gained experience was benefited by the multiple repeated actions.] / [The Unregistered Ability wishes to be properly noted in the User's Skill list, enabling easy management.]

[+300,000 XP](Applied +6,000% Buff)] / [Y/N]

A series of notifications filled Vesper's vision as he began to read each message quickly.

'Still missing something.'

'System?'

[The rest of the notifications will come right after these are properly handled to prevent the User's Vision from being completely filled.]

'Good. Thanks~' He gave a small cheerful wave to the System.

'The unregistered ability is probably the Wingding Language. It would be good to keep track of the Level it is at.'

'How extensive would the information be that I would receive from it if I register it, System?'

[Only the basics; this Registration will only serve for the User to know at what Level this Skill is, even the description will be almost nonexistent due to the Nature of this language.]

This news didn't surprise Vesper; his System wasn't omnipotent. It was just a tool created to help him get stronger, to 'guide' him. It was perfectly understandable that the System couldn't register a Skill that was its total opposite: a Language that went against all Logic of Reality.

'Register the Skill; I can't think of any negative effects to it.'

[Understood.]

[New Skill Registered.]

[Wingding(Level 10) - A dead language that forces reality itself to accept its orders, with the necessary knowledge, transmuting the current event into a desired one.]

'Quite precise.' He nodded before shifting his eyes to the experience part.

[XP: 0/10,000] (Accumulated XP: 337,000]

'Simply... wow.' He thought, impressed, staring at this amount of XP he had accumulated.

'How many levels could I go up with this?'

[20 Levels.]

'I would go straight to Level 25, unlocking another part of the 'Veserithorns(MAX)' advantages.' A slight greed appeared in Vesper's eyes.

'Better not.' He shook his head to dispel that greed.

'I haven't even mastered everything I currently have, let alone reached a truly acceptable Level. My Stats are ridiculous, but my total Combat abilities are terrible for someone at my Level.'

Vesper knew this because of a specific day he spent broadcasting to Mr.G, who wanted to know the kind of environment Vesper lived in so he could write future volumes with a slight idea of what to expect.

That broadcast ended with Vesper using his abilities on the wind and defeating a Hob-Goblin from the repeated challenge. This was a week after he began his studies.

Mr.G's assessment was quite accurate: great power in movements, a massive destructive potential, but a terrible mastery with what he already had in hand. Thus, he recommended that Vesper avoid acquiring new abilities at all costs while focusing on mastering his current ones.

'Initially, I was a bit annoyed with this restriction; I wanted to test controlling all Elements and shooting hundreds of arrows of various elements...' Vesper thought with a slight embarrassment.

'But today I understand what he meant. If I could fully harness the Spiral Energy I have, I would have been able to pass this last part with a single Arrow shot.' He let out a light sigh, acknowledging his lack of control over Spiral Energy, despite his tremendously high Energy Status.

Unlike other Energies, Spiral Energy increased in quantity rather than just providing 'precision and freedom' in its manipulation. After all, Spiral Energy had its own Mastery that served this purpose.

'Such a complicated Energy...' He felt the Energy within him move slightly as he had this thought, making Vesper feel mildly exasperated.

'Let's set this aside for now.'

'System, next notifications, please.'

[Destiny Stolen Successfully(x50)]

[Bow Mastery(Lv.5/9/11/10) acquired(x25)]

[Goblin Fire Magic acquired]

[Goblin Water Magic acquired]

[Goblin Earth Magi-...]

...

Vesper's head ached slightly due to the number of notifications he ended up hearing, 50 notifications that appeared one after another!

'Just convert everything except the Bow Mastery into experience.'

[Understood.]

[Conversion in progress.]

[5%...25%...47%...69%...90%...100%.]

[Conversion completed successfully.]

[+163,000 EXP acquired]

[XP: 0/10,000] (Accumulated XP: 500,000]

'Good. Very good.' He nodded satisfied with the amount of accumulated experience he currently had.

'Merge.'

He commanded, and the Upgrade Tab appeared.

He placed all 26 Bow Masteries he had (counting his own).

[Requirement: 250,000 EXP]

'Merge.'

[Merge initiated.]

[250,000 EXP consumed.]

[1%...5%...]

[100%]

After a full 30 seconds, the merge was complete.

Bow Mastery(50): An Aim that easily surpasses most Archer Hero Users.

[(+): +50% Piercing Power when attacking with a Bow / +100% Damage when attacking with a Bow]

[A new Passive Skill was generated due to the User's high Bow Mastery.]

[Bow Mastery(MAX): As long as the User has an Arrow with them, they can consider anything as a Bow.]

'...'

'All I wanted was to avoid acquiring new Abilities...' He let out a resigned sigh before waving his hands, making the notifications disappear.

'I have 250,000 EXP left currently.' He put his hand on his chin while thinking.

After a few seconds of thought, surrounded by a quite destroyed area, Vesper snapped his fingers when an idea came to mind.

'Put all the EXP into Spiral Energy. I was unsure if I would do this or not, but now is not the time to hesitate.'

[Understood.]

A series of Level-up sounds suddenly surged, filling Vesper's mind with such sounds, causing him to grab his head in pain.

'Ridiculous..! Turn this off!'

Suddenly the sounds stopped due to his 'desperate' wishes.

'Ah.'

He could make the sounds stop anytime...

[{Spiral Energy(Lv.25) —> {Spiral Energy(Lv.47)}]

A large amount of information about Spiral Energy began to appear in Vesper's head, causing him once again to grab his head as he knelt; there was too much information.

'The voices!' He declared instinctively while enduring a few more seconds of writhing.

''🏱︎☟︎☜︎🕈︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ (Phew...)'' He let out a small amount of air when the wave of information finally subsided.

Unlike Bow Mastery, Spiral Energy couldn't simply be put as 'muscle memory'/'instinct'; Vesper's Soul itself needed to have this information, resulting in this supposedly 'exaggerated' reaction.

''💣︎✋︎☠︎⚐︎☼︎ ☼︎☜︎👍︎⚐︎✞︎☜︎☼︎✡︎(Minor Recovery)'' A green light gathered around Vesper's body, making his body slowly return to normal.

'Seriously, the amount of things this Spiral Energy can do is ridiculous..!' Vesper thought with mock indignation.

In Vesper's view, and that of those who know it, Spiral Energy was indeed something ridiculous. Possibly one of the most powerful types of Energies to ever exist due to its vast capabilities.

Vesper took a deep breath when he felt better before starting to get up.

'With this new level of power, I should be able to get most of the rewards in no time, maybe even leave this [Small World].'

He made a cheerful noise before starting the challenges again; he would go as far as possible now.

-----

And with this, this chapter is ready~

I'm trying to find a pace for the story that I enjoy writing. I'm sure I dislike extremely fast-paced rhythms, but apparently, I'm not a fan of things that are absurdly slow either. That's why I ended up speeding things up a bit with a time skip.

From my point of view, I found the time skip quite proportional to the amount of things Vesper learned. He not only grew slightly as a person but also developed his mind to much higher levels thanks to Mr.G~

I'll avoid making all development happen in time skips, but sometimes these skips are necessary. After all, certain things are better when developed outside the narrative, in my opinion. (Yes, this is an excuse from a terrible author incapable of writing emotional development correctly; deal with it!)

Well, I might change my mind in the future, so who knows.

...

Don't think I'm giving Vesper a 'NERF' by making him prefer to have only a few abilities instead of many. I have two GREAT reasons for this.

1 - Vesper would actually be weaker if he had 300 abilities and couldn't level up any of them correctly, no matter how much Focus he has. He would try to develop each of the abilities, and the temptation would make him nervous, worsening his decision-making even with Mr.G's help.

2 - I find it ridiculous when a character receives 300 abilities because they usually don't use even half of them. So, I kinda dislike most of these types of characters (except for Najimi Ajimu, she's perfect).

Vesper will indeed get more abilities over time, both for him to get used to them and for us, the Reader and Author, to get used to these abilities. I would forget about 90% of things if I kept adding new things non-stop (something that must have been noticed, as in the chapters, there is always a repeated action that is written differently or happens differently; I simply forget how I did it before~).

...

'Why the hell is Vesper speaking in Wingdings?!' and the reason is also simple. He spent 3 years only speaking in this way out loud, so it became instinctive for him.

That's how he works, both in mind and body. Never compare him to a human or any mortal species; he will have very strange functions (even though his physiology is that of a human, I don't want to write about a protagonist with the body of an animal, lol).

...

I made Vesper more perceptive to most things and possibilities than he can do, both with Spiral Energy, the Bow, and with the System. Mr.G is someone genius and a potential divine teacher, as intelligent as he is.

Thus, I believe he would train his student's mind well (especially if that student were as clean as a blank canvas waiting to be painted {taught}) to make the most of various opportunities.

Mr.G is definitely not purely good; he is an EXTREMELY mentally distorted scientist due to the way he lived for an unknown amount of time, and that is how he will teach Vesper, seeing nothing wrong with it (he has always been twisted even before going to the [Void], the [Void] just made him more twisted than usual).

Vesper will not be a hero but will not be a villain either, a scum or a retarded edge-lord who doesn't care even about innocent families. They are not guilty of anything, and Vesper instinctively knows this, just like Mr.G. As long as they don't have value: there is no reason to kill them, much less focus on protecting them. Absolute neutrality is enough (the kind you find on the street: ignore the person, but if they, for example, fall to the ground, you would help them by holding that person to prevent them from falling. In Vesper's case: preventing the innocent from being unnecessarily killed).

...

I can't do much if it's not to your liking, readers, but I found it necessary to present these 'letters' to finish defining important points of the story that will be difficult to address within the narrative.

I read your suggestions and decided to apply one of them with my own modifications, the suggestion of how Vesper's own 'world' (dimension) would work.

I liked the character ideas given, especially the protagonist of 'The Gamer.' It's been a long time since I've seen anything from that work, so I literally barely remember anything, but I might end up incorporating this idea because I found it extremely interesting; I just need time to read the work if I really plan to enhance it.

The other ideas have not been discarded; they are all duly stored, and I will put in the ones that interest me and find a way to fit them into the story. Just... forget things like 'Marvel,' 'DC,' and comics in general; I don't read comics or even like to watch Marvel/DC movies. The last thing I saw was 'Avengers: Infinity War,' lol.

I will be putting this survey at the end of every chapter and modifying them as the story progresses, always accepting new comments and suggestions!

1 - What Abilities, Passives, or Masteries should he gain when reaching the marks of his stats, just like he did with Energy in this chapter? (the marks: 500/1000/1500/2000/2500)

2 - Suggestions for Characters for the {Chat}, please? I am quite satisfied with the ones that have already been suggested, but new suggestions are always welcome! (so I can have a wider range of choices/options)

3 - Ideas for the First World to visit? (exclude comics or movies that are not anime, lol)

Have a good day / Good afternoon / Good night!
