For the first time in her life, Harper came to fully appreciate the precious invention of pillows. The squishy layers of cushions buffered her fall, giving her just enough time to hold on to the headboard, and she was beyond grateful when she narrowly avoided flattening Eli's handsome face with her butt.

Eli, on the other hand, didn't seem to have realized how close he was to getting his nose broken in such a tragic way. Supporting her thigh with one arm, he continued to lap her up, and he groaned disappointedly when she finally slipped away from above him and completely collapsed into a boneless heap.

"Argh, I'm not full yet," he whined, though he still helped her lie down comfortably on her back. Those wicked lips kissed a lingering wet trail up her hips, over her stomach, across her chest, as if trying to lick up every last trace of his "dinner" to appease his insatiable hunger.
