** Harper **
With Chelsea's help on hold until she could complete a proper assessment of Eli, Harper was left on her own to figure out how to proceed with her mission of seduction.
It wasn't the easiest thing in the world — given her lack of personal experience, most of Harper's knowledge regarding relationships came from the romance books she read, and "friends to lovers" wasn't the trope she was most familiar with. The stories she typically liked to read were about enemies to lovers, forbidden desires, revenge and betrayal … none of which seemed relevant in this case. How would one go about seducing a guy who already knows almost everything about you?
She spent the next couple of hours googling "how to go on a date with a friend" and "how to move from friendship to relationship" and various other versions of the same question. Noting down all the answers, she made a list of ideas based on the internet's suggestions:
Will Harper’s new tactics work? :)
On a separate note… Author here is also trying out different tactics for advertising this book, and I’d really appreciate your help! The new cover for this story has gone live for about a week now, and I’m not entirely sure yet about how well it works compared to the previous one. So I’m turning to you guys for your expert advice: which cover do you think you’d be more likely to click on, if you saw this book recommended to you or featured in the app? Do they give off the right vibes for the story, and is there anything specific that you like/dislike in either of them?
To keep experimenting with my options, I might also revert to the old cover again some time in the coming week… Apologies again for putting you guys through all this trouble, but I promise it won’t keep happening! Thank you so much for your understanding and help in figuring this out with me <3
