Chapter 266: Their Daily Life: Wedding Day

Today was a beautiful day. The birds chirped happily, the sky was a striking blue, and the weather was perfect—not too cold, not too warm. 

It was the Aureate season, the autumn of Nereideia, when the trees turned shades of red and orange, their leaves falling like gentle snow. The world outside was mesmerizing.

But inside the mansion, the atmosphere was anything but serene. The halls echoed with the cries and screams of a grown man who couldn't bear to let his daughter go. 

It was hardly the solemn wedding scene one might expect.

"Seren! Don't leave your Dad alone like this!" 

Cassius wailed, his face streaked with tears and snot as he stood outside his daughter room, held back by his two men, Clyde and Kleith.

He wasn't ready to let his little girl marry—not yet.

"You traitors!" he snarled at the twins, who flinched under his gaze.

"I'm sorry, boss! We have to do this!" Clyde pleaded.
