The crowd, draped in their white robes, erupted in fury, their angry voices reverberating off the stained glass windows as light streamed through them. The irony of their cursing did not escape Rosetta.

"I reject all the accusations and demand a thorough investigation!" Rosetta's voice cut through the din, commanding attention.

"Remember, Your Holiness, I worked alongside the Salacia Temple in my territory, and they were equally negligent."

Her eyes blazed with anger and determination as she continued, "I am generous enough to attend this private trial here in the Holy Land of Nereids. So this discourse won't reach the royal family or other Kingdoms and Empires."

A hush fell over the crowd as Rosetta's words carried an implicit threat. "Imagine if the truth gets out: that your priests couldn't stand against the darkness and your temple failed as a place of salvation. What will the nobles and commoners think then?"
