Lucien entered the room to find the usual baroque-style decor, dominated by red and black hues. However, he wasn't greeted by Brigantiea as usual, which filled him with anxiety.
Approaching the bed, he saw Brigantiea sleeping soundly. Though relieved that she was still breathing, he couldn't ignore her pale complexion and obvious exhaustion.
Gently stroking her vibrant red hair, he managed to soothe her grumbling in her sleep, allowing her to rest peacefully once more.
As he leaned in closer, Brigantiea suddenly awoke, pulling him onto the bed as a magic circle appeared, ready to strike. Panicked, Lucien shouted to identify himself.
"Wait! I'm Lucien!" he exclaimed, hoping to snap her out of her daze.
Half-asleep, Brigantiea's eyes widened at the sound of his voice. "Lucien? What are you doing here?" she asked, the magic circle dissipating as she settled back onto the bed.
