Long Dangdang said, "Although the military has appointed me as the commander of the Luminous Knights Order, none of us have military experience, and we're unfamiliar with leading troops. So, everything should remain as it was. You'll still be responsible for the daily affairs of the legion, including troop deployment. Menglu will go and communicate with the priests to ensure they're ready to assist. As for us, if a battle arises, we'll directly join the fight, and you will still be the one in command."
Long Dangdang didn't intend to meddle or take over the Luminous Knights Order as if it were his own domain; that was never his goal or direction. Joining the order was more about adding to his military résumé, something the Knights Temple wanted him to do to pave the way for his future. He wasn't familiar with commanding armies, so he planned to keep his interference minimal and leave the specialized tasks to the professionals.
