Chapter 17: Charmie Will Not Wait
In the living room of Zeno's apartment, Zeno could be seen relaxing on the couch in an unbuttoned floral shirt and short pants. Today was the day he decided to take a rest and just stay inside his apartment.
Currently, he was about to roll the Gacha after he noticed that it had been a week already since the last time. He wonders what will he get this time.
"System, roll the Gacha for me."

Zeno immediately feels something change inside him and something invisible coating his entire body like a second skin. He smirked, pleased with the new power he got from the character template. The energy absorption of Sebastian Shaw is very effective against those who rely on physical attack, he is not quite sure how well it will do against supernatural energies though. Zeno then turns on the TV and watches a news channel. As he watches the news, his eyes widen in surprise at the headline that flashes across the screen. There are mysterious explosion incidents that occurred in the Vatican, causing confusion and fear of terrorist attacks. The authorities reassured the citizens that it was just a gas leak and did not bother to clarify further to the public.
Zeno chuckles softly as he can guess what actually happened in the Vatican. There is only one likely possibility as to why this is happening during this time.
"Kokabiel already on the move huh?"
He mutters as he watches the news. Suddenly, his smartphone vibrates in his pocket. He pulled it out of his pants pocket and It was a message from Himiko. Zeno raises his eyebrow as he reads her messages.
[ Himiko Murabiki: Hello Zavior-san! ]
[ Himiko Murabiki: Are you busy right now? ]
Zeno looks at the message from Himiko, a small smile forming on his lips. This woman still courageously contracts him after he has rejected her date invitation from the time they met on the street.
[ ZZ: No, I'm free right now. What's up? ]
He replies to her as he awaits her response, he can't help but wonder if she wants to invite him on a date again.
[ Himiko Murabiki: Great! I have a favor to ask of you. Can you help me pick out a gift for my friend this weekend? I'm terrible at choosing gifts... ]
Zeno chuckled in amusement as she really invited him to a date, in a roundabout way. He guesses that the previous rejection still scares her. Well, he doesn't have any reason to refuse her invitation so might as well.
[ ZZ: Okay, I can accompany you this weekend since I don't have any appointments. ]
Meanwhile, in Himiko's girly bedroom, Himiko who was in a baggy white shirt and black lacy panties instantly got up from the bed she lay on with excitement as she bounced up and down on her bed after she read Zeno's message. She quickly replied, eager to see him on the weekend.

Zeno and Charmie enjoyed their ice cream together, chatting casually about their day. Charmie was particularly excited about the future bounty hunt with him and her sisters. She couldn't stop talking about showing him her awesome strength.

Zeno smiled as he watched Asia and Charmie get along well. He then leaned back in his chair, his eyes locked on Noa as she occasionally glanced at him, a slight blush visible on her face. Look like she is already impatient for the night duty.
Zeno chuckled softly, amused by Noa's eagerness. He finished his meal and stood up, stretching lazily.
"Alright, girls, time for me to head to bed, I've got a busy day tomorrow."
He announced as the girls all looked at him.
"Yes, Master. Good night."
The maids said in unison leaving only Asia who felt awkward that she didn't say goodnight together with everyone. She feels very left out sometimes.
"G-Good night, Zavior-san."
Asia managed to say a few seconds later with a normal voice. Zeno gave them a nod and then went out of the dining room. After Zeno left, Noa quickly put the remaining food in her plate inside her mouth and put away her phone before she stood up, about to go to Zeno's room but Leila quickly blocked her path.
"Now, now, where do you think you going without even washing the dishes?"
She asked with a stern look on her face. Noa pouted and crossed her arms.
"But without me, Master will get lonely by himself!"
She whined, her eyes barely hidden her lustful desire. Leila rolled her eyes and sighed at her sister's behavior. She also wants to go to Zeno's room and comfort him but the household chores must finish first.
"Then help me wash the dishes quickly!"
Leila ordered, walking towards the kitchen. Noa sighed in annoyance but followed her sister. Meanwhile, Asia stood there for a moment, feeling confused about what was happening.
No one notices that Charmie is no longer in the dining room, she is already sneaking out with a mischievous expression on her face while her sisters glaring at each other.
