Now I could understand why the high price, there have already been cases in LAZ, of players dying or having negative effects after eating what they shouldn't and of course it's obvious, that you don't have to eat anything with concentrated mana, unless you are a monster and less something that has more concentrated mana than the purite crystals, which are literally mana so concentrated as to crystallize.

The lights emitted by the crystals and not only that, our cave looked like a root and thousands of them were in this huge hole, all running down, now I could see the whole of the immense underwater cave, those roots were the same color as the crystals, it was just beautiful, so and so beautiful, but the beauty became ephemeral.
When I followed these roots with my eyes I ended up looking down and that terrified me.
Not much deeper from our position there were hundreds of thousands of fangs pointing at us and with them dozens of eyes looking at us, with a voracious hunger, they were beasts, all of them minimum demon class, I almost fainted from fright.
Luckily for us, I had prevented Lint and Caronte from exploring the dark background.
Now thanks to the divine sensitivity I could see them.
But I also saw something strange, all the roots ended at one point and all the beasts had left a free hole, where they did not approach, it seemed that they feared that place.
At that moment an epiphany hit me, it was the door to the abyss.
Without haste I moved away from my comrades giving them an order.
- Do not follow me, under any circumstances! - Without stopping to look at them or answer their questions and objections, I began to swim in a straight line, until I was directly above the door.
I was scared, very, very scared, I could say that this would be the most terrifying experience I would ever have, or I hope it would be.
With my heart in my throat I started to run down, it was risky, but I'm not stupid enough to go down slowly either, besides the fear wouldn't let me go down from fifth gear.
When the beasts saw what I was doing, they all threw themselves at me, my heart stopped beating, but I couldn't slow down, I didn't want to slow down.
And when their breath was already bathing me, millions of black chains came out of the skin of all the beasts, tying them to the ground, their fangs were only a few centimeters away from me, I could even appreciate that none of them had a tongue, something I was grateful for.
More than an impossible mission, it seemed like a test of courage, if I had panicked and moved slightly to either side right now I would be dead, plus as an extra fact, a divine object is almost impossible to obtain, anyone who came here without it would do it blindly, in other words they would be dead if they don't have the ability to fight dozens of demon class beasts.
Somewhat calmer, I focus my attention on the bright spot, at the end of the cave.
Now that I was closer I could tell that the cave was funnel-shaped, with what I would say is the door being the lowest point.
Soon I was already a few dozen meters away and then I could notice it, the aura of terror that we felt when I was given Demora, was the aura of the abyss.
I was almost there.

I could feel the cold in my chest, the chain had pierced my heart.
