Chapter 64: Instant Regret
The meeting continued and when it was over, everyone couldn't wait to leave the place. It might be beautiful and clean, but the people who live there are not friendly at all. They even go as far as to demand the death of ten thousand people just because they can.
The mission will take place three weeks later. This is not enough time to properly train the soldiers so they stand a small chance of keeping their lives. All the base leaders are cursing the cultivators for being ruthless.
On the other hand Amelia and Blake took out a pair of white and black warhorses and rode them across the green plains of hidden territory. The horses are not normal, in fact they are brimming with spiritual energy making them very strong and fast.
The two of them rode around the unclaimed hidden territory lands enjoying the ride and occasionally picking up the seemingly useless herbs. The people following them became enraged at the action of not leaving the hidden territory as soon as possible like the rest.
Amelia is waiting for someone to show themselves. She knows Ye Qingyue that lustful woman with a need for potent yang energy would go after Blake no matter what.
The night soon arrived and the two made a camp fire and started pitching tents enjoying the outdoors. The people following them suddenly disappeared. Amelia sneakily gave Blake the pill to enhance his strength.
"Only take them if you run out of options." Amelia sent a mental message which Blake acknowledged.
Shadows materialized out of the blue as many powerful auras released pressure intending to crush the two of them. Amelia stayed inside a space barrier with Blake and watched... waiting.
She didn't just pitch the tents randomly but had wanted to eliminate the blowing wind in a small area. As the 6 men came closer and attacked the barrier one by one they fell to the ground foaming from their mouths. The men died in excruciating pain but Amelia didn't come out of the barrier.
Amelia knew that when Qingyue sees that the men died from poison she will not be able to resist showing off her poison body physique and she was right. Not long after, Ye Qingyue came to view with a clear smug smile on her face.
"Is this the capital that has you so confident that you would go crazy and challenge my Ye family? How cute." Amelia didn't answer but she simply told Blake to pull her close.
"I need to anger her." She said in his head. Blake is confused by why that would anger the lady but he turned and faced Amelia with his glittering pair of brown eyes making her look back at him with an intoxicated look in her.
Blake moved her hair to behind her shoulder gently and embraced her with his eyes firmly on her own. The scene of their embrace is so dazzling to the eyes. But Qingyue doesn't think so.
"How dare a peasant touch what is mine?!" She shrieked at the two of them, the next second she dropped on the ground without any ability to resist. The medicine works faster when a person is excited.
Amelia had already made the antidote and given it to Blake and herself. She came out of the barrier and fed the woman on the ground a blue pill. She then took the bracelet away and took back their tents allowing the air to be fresh and carry the poison away.
She then teleported them back to the Island base. Blake is more quiet then usual today but Amelia is too busy being happy to pay attention to him.
"Why did she still come out even after seeing the others poisoned?" After a long time, Blake asked her.
"She didn't think she can be affected."
"Why?"
"She has a special physique that is immune to most poison."
"So, you knew that and planned accordingly?" Blake just realised the leader is scheming and a little clever.
"Thank you. I couldn't have done it without you." She said sincerely.
"I didn't do much."
"You did enough."
Amelia went to her space and quickly bled on the stone and it shone brightly before turning into a mole on her wrist. Amelia left the rest of the bracelet in a jade bottle before putting it away.
She sent her spiritual energy inside the mole "Wholly Molly!" She became stunned. How can a golden finger not ment for the protagonist be this rich?
There is a mystical library inside that is magical even a it is large. Information in her head explains the legacy of a DragonBane school of immortality. When they were attacked, the elders and ancestors of the school used their combined power to put the school inside a powerful artifact that can be accessed by a destined person.
It is said here that the elders are not looking for specific individuals as long as it is not someone related to the people who lusted over their DragonsBane legacy which is why they tiered space and threw it in the crack that appearsed.
The world where it came from was being over taken by evil. These are creatures from other universies powerful and evil, the cultivators were not United and got surprised by the attack so they failed after decades of fighting. The DB school was not attacked by these creatures but by humans who wanted to steal what they can and run away.
They had heard of an object that can send them to another universe but the elders used it to send the artifact away instead. Mostly because they could use all the hands they could get and the open space can only transport dead things and not living things.
Amelia is glad the two spaces are separated from each other. This is because she just entered the place and it is a large place with several buildings but what she found is a little boy flying around. She knows without a doubt that this boy is an artifact spirit.
"Master. Welcome." The boy beamed as he flew around Amelia studying her.
"Thank you." Amelia looked at the tall buildings. She felt like she has been teleported to the past, these are the library buildings for several fields. Formation, alchemy, talismans, cultivation, art, spells, techniques such as movement techniques, sword techniques and so on.
"Master, you finally came. It is so lonely in here reading all day long." The boy said sadly.
"I am here now, don't be sad." Amelia softened her eyes but she is just acting. She knows an artifact spirit can not feel anything let alone loneliness.
"Master can you allow me to go outside for a bit?" This is wthe objective of the spirit.
"Allowing you to go out will grant you the power to transform into whatever you want and if you commit crimes I won't be able to stop you because I won't be your master anymore?" Letting a spirit trick you is very dangerous. It can sever a master servant contract by using ones ignorance.
The spirit kept silent. It didn't expect to be caught on the first try. This human is not simple. It instantly regretted coming out instead of watching her from a distance observing her first. Now that she knows he is here, she will know where he is at all times. Worse, it can not hurt the human as the master of the place.

The space is very organised the next day and foods of different forms are neatly arranged in large containers. When she is done, she took the upgraded golden fruit and ate it to improve her physical strength. Even at stage 8 foundation establishment she still fainted from accessive pain and internal structural shock.
She woke up drenched with impurities and some blood. Amelia is not even fazed by this and calmly took a bath. When she is done she took a mental enhancing pill she made from the mental fruit as the main ingredient.
The level didn't increase but her overall strength increased by a lot. Amelia decided to use the golden banana spirit fruit to enhance the power of her army. They may not be excellent fighters but their reserves wil be plentiful. This wikk allow them to fight those more powerful than them and also last longer in battle.
She went to shower and then fell asleep soon after. Blake knocked on her door but got no answer, he just couldn't sleep and felt restless. He decided to stay outside her bedroom and keep her safe.
In the Southeast, a group of well armed fast moving cultivators made their way towards Jiangkang base. However, when they arrived they couldn't enter no matter what.
The gates are nonexistent at this time because the guards are instructed to remove the keys from the barrier so there is no way of leaving or entering the base.
These people are prepared for this, they placed several explosives on the barrier and pressed the button.

The people from the base informed the guardians of the event but oqld Mo told them to watch the surveillance and if the barrier is destroyed they must attack.
The Zhu twins also got up and watched them try angain and again but not even a scratch is left behind. These people are from the Ye family and their goal is to capture Amelia and kill as many people as possible inside the Jiangkang base so that she will learn an unforgettable lesson.
The Ye family found their young mistress surrounded by poisoned Ye family guards and she didn't have any idea of what happened that day. As if someone wiped away her memory for the whole day.
Amelia had given her a blue pill, that pill will erase the memory of whomever takes it for 24 hours if the person is not in nascent soul tealm. The pill doesn't have any other side effects. Amelia didn't want the woman to remember Blake or the fact that she took a bracelet from her.
Ye Qingyue didn't know why she would use her poisonous power to kill her own guards nor why she was there in the first place. The elders of the Ye family gave each other meaningful looks.
They know exactly why their young leader went to the place. She is lustful and vengeful so of course she would follow the woman who had a handsome man by her side and had dared to challenge her in the meeting.
After hearing the details of the day, Ye Qingyue understood that Amelia had done something to her but even the most skilled of the mental divers in their family couldn't find any memory of that day inside her head.
This scared her and also infuriated her to no end.
The cultivators ended up leaving without breaking through the barrier. When old Mo called Amelia she was not surprised by the Ye family's actions. If they find out she took something so valuable from them she wonders if they would vomit blood on the spot?
"Have a lock down for now. I will take care of this problem soon enough." Amelia is aware that some base members make a living by interacting with the outside bases but it can not be helped for now.
"Can we talk in private?" Blake asked her and she told Linruo to go prepare her medicinal bath.
"How are you going to solve this problem? Are we going to war?" Blake asked with an intense gaze. He will go to war if she wants to, he just needs to be prepared.
"Don't be dramatic. All I have to do is negotiate. Of course that will only be possible when I have all the cards in my hand. Don't worry I have it all figured out." She smiles at him.
"How mysterious." Blake sounded exasperated.
Amelia didn't answer Blake's concerns but she did go into the library area with a cauldron, and many ingredients to make a pill. Because time moves differently inside the space, she was able to make hundreds of pills in a short amount of time.
She put on combat suit and an advanced invisibility talisman. When she came out even though it is day time no one could see or feel her. She took a zombie nuclei and used it to enter the hidden territory.
The security protocal of only recognizing spiritual energy as a key is stupid. No one can perceive her as she made her way to the Ye family which is the place where she and the rest had a meeting the day before. She entered a room and crushed one of the pills she had just made.
Every room had a seperate pill until she even made it to a secluded area where one of the ancestors is in seclusion. She opened a space and dropped the pill inside before she retreated.
The thing she released in the air is called spirit eating miasma. The gas devours any spiritual energy it can find the moment it is introduced into a living being's internal system.
During war times, alchemists who can make this pill are sort after or hunted down to be killed so they do not fall in the hands of the enemy.
Amelia had to promise her master to never let others know she is in the possession of such a dangerous formula. She has never used or sold these pills before and she only used them now because people like Ye Qingyue wil never back down from a fight unless they are thoroughly beaten.
The miasma doesn't attach spiritual energy in the blood or muscle but only in the dentin and in the spirit root. Amelia is relieved knowing the people will only lose their power and will not die. "To someone else no, to me, yes. It makes perfect sense. But you must remember that you are doing this to fulfill your potential." Amelia explained while looking at her with a proud expression.
She feels honored to be able to pick up such a rare talent. Amelia has gone to the library to research her physique and that of the girl in front of her.
Linruo is a devine yin body. This type of physique is rare even in the immortal realm. It means that as long as Linruo cultivates a yin based manual she will cultivate 5 times faster than other people. Her power will also be three times more lethal than those of the same strength. He uses many other methods that Amelia finds ingenious and oddly effective. It took three weeks and visible results became apparent. Amelia is very happy with his work. By the time Blake moves on to piloting a mecha it is obvious how far the rookies have come. These lessons continued for the next four months half a day for each day and then he will increase his cultivation the rest of the day.
Amelia made it to golden core formation in these months by using the resources in her hands to the maximum limit. She concocted powerful pills to aid her cultivation realm increase, the results is third stage golden core formation in four months.
Linruo finally became a cultivator. Because of the abundance of resources including high level spirit stones she is currently in level 9 qi refining and a breath a way from building her foundation. Her body is initially stiff but she pulled herself together. She is angry at the people who have been keeping her here and wants to destroy this place. However she needs to escape from here first before she can think about revenge.
In the depths of the castle, a pair of blood red eyes with black pupils opened the moment Liang Mei stepped out of the room she was confined it. They soon closed again and Qing Xuan continued to cultivate his power. He has increased his power during these months to the point that he didn't need Liang Mei's blood any more.
