Elder Sister
A while before, Amelia had entered her space. As soon as she entered, new information surfaced in her mind. It turns out the mutation of her plant powers upgraded to new heights. At level ten when breaking through to level 11, all powers will shatter the crystal nuclei turning it into several essence drops.
These drops will be in the mental space and can only be accessed by the owner. The initial formation of these drops will determine the level of talent and the extent of their path in the future. In the novel, Liang Mei condensed 99 drops. The highest known number has always been 60 to 80. The ones who managed to condense 70 to 80 are called geniuses with S class talent who will be able to live for thousands of years.
However, Amelia's plant powers had been able to create mystical items that even as an alchemist in the upper realms she had only read about in records. The new information is stating that those who consume her mystic items will not do anything to harm her. Her level is not high enough for her to make them completely loyal to her, but they will be averse to ideas that will harm her or her interest.
Another change in the space is the size, even she can not see the end of it. The most surprising is the deep color of the soil. This means her planting will be plentiful and faster to ripen than in the past. Luckily she can move things around using her thoughts otherwise who would plant such a large space?
All these did not make her conceited the least bit, because her dear sister also has miraculous red fruits that will improve people's constitutions and allow them to store more power than their peers.
Because of this item, Liang Mei's subordinates can jump levels and fight people at higher levels than them. Their group also attract new recruits because of this. Not to mention her treatment is better than other teams.
She uses this fruit to lure talented individuals in the B base and amass a terrifying power in less than a year since the start of the apocalypse. She is also very ruthless to those who target her people and will usually turn them into waste directly.
This series of actions turns her into a behemoth in the last days. The people with supernatural powers naturally gravitated towards her camp. She can turn people with less talent into geniuses who can fight with the powerful people from prominent families.
The soldiers under these families lost faith in the power backing them and many more joined Liang Mei.
The city naturally has more talent than the corner of the world where Amelia's base is located. In the future when Liang Mei raises the strength of all the supernatural powers in her base, Amelia may loose out in numbers alone.
As the daughter of the world, she must already be powerful right now. Amelia has checked and knows a year has gone by. It is now three months after an entire year has gone by since the beginning of the great change.
"I can not believe your electricity and water is still on so far into the apocalypse." Amelia spoke into the mic. She looked into the listless eyes of the people in front of her. She knows there will not be any discussion while they are starving like this. Not knowing what to do except give in, she took out condensed biscuits and mineral water for them all.
She has this much and more because her own base had started cooking earlier on and not much of dry food is sold in the base shops, Amelia had always kept a lot of items that will go off if they are left unused. She can finally use these before they go off, but this is still just a small amount compared to what is in her space.
They saw the food and pounced, eating and drinking water. The water in the prison is contaminated with the virus. Amelia waited until they were done and started speaking.
"I was surprised to find people still alive here. I am here to tell you that this place and most of the nearby areas will now belong to me. If you stay, you are agreeing to become my subject. I will feed you and clothe you, in return you are to work and help me protect my home. This place, is my home and those of you who stay are my people." She said with a calm voice looking at the people who are in a daze.
"I will give you tonight to think about it. I am a magnanimous queen. The food on the ground can be divided amongst those who will be leaving." Even though a large portion of the food has been eaten, a larger amount still remains.
"If you leave, you will still be under my rule but not under my roof. Go and think about it." She turned and went towards the open space a distance from the buildings. This place was open so that no vicious beasts from the wild will be able to approach the prison without being seen.
Amelia decided to make this large place and more on the far end a place where her palace will be built. After making this decision she remembered something. The power of space is very miraculous she just wanted to go into her room in the hospital base. The next moment she is inside her room of coursenot all space power would work inside her formation. It is noon here. She went to the outside near the cabin and saw a scene that made her frown.
Looking towards a direction she saw a group of warriors walking to a place where a surge of power is coming from. She knows that direction, it is where she built a cabin for her pet.
There is more than ten people and they are walking with caution. She managed to hear their conversation.
"That three headed beast probably has three high level nuclei. No wonder the lady sent us to probe."
"I wonder if she will give us the juice to improve our power if we kill it first?"
"Stop dreaming, the lady is going to come and deal a final blow."
"Sigh, the lady is so benevolent, these people refused her grace and chased her out when she tried applying for a place to stay but she still thinks about their safety."
"Yeah, with such a sinister beast lurking in the shadows so close to the base, they will die sooner or later if not for the lady."
They kept silent when they got closer to the cabin. They started taking out ropes to climb over the smooth walls. Amelia couldn't take it anymore and released a sleeping gas making them unable to control their bodies. Just as they fell to the ground a shadow came running from the side catching one of them before he smashed the ground with with his face.
Amelia is stunned, she a high level powerhouse was not able to sense that shadow. It means this person has breathing technique.
The girl who caught a person looked in Amelia's direction with murder in her eyes. "Are you going to hide like a turtle and attack in the dark or are you going to come out and face me like a man?"
Amelia became even more shocked. What is the heroine doing in her territory? Hearing her words, Amelia busted out laughing.
A clear laughter rang in the forest. "Elder sister, you are so fierce." Her voice pleasant to hear.
Amelia came out of the shadows, she is wearing a pair of sports wear and a hair band. Her face is clean and has a healthy pale color looking more beautiful than female superstars, the important thing is the lack of makeup on that face.
The surrounding plants parting ways for her as if seeing a sovereign. Liang Mei showed surprise in her face but she quickly covered it.
"Amelia." Liang looked at the beautiful young lady in front of her feeling displeased at how pretty and relaxed she looks.
Of course she herself is one of the most beautiful woman in her base because she is a cultivator with a water spirit root. As a heroine, her face and that cold temperament can really arouse a man's desire for conquer. Amelia sighed looking at her flawless face and the special aura of the child of the heaven, it really makes people want to destroy her directly. How envious.

"Do I need a reason to strike at an intruder?" Amelia raised an eyebrow. Hearing her, Liang Mei became startled.
"Do you mean to say this is your house?"
"Not mine but it may as well be mine. The question is why are you trying to disrupt an important moment for Jack Jack? Are you so uncivilized that even when you can see it is a home with an owner, you will just force your way inside to kill and steal?" Amelia asked looking at Liang Mei.
The contempt in those large blue eyes made Liang Mei frown in shame. "How do we know this house belongs to you or that Jack Jack you mentioned? For all we know, it is just a place in the woods that beasts have taken shelter in." Liang Mei didn't want to lose her prestige in front of the group of followers.
She also caught the main point. This house doesn't belong to her which means she is also an intruder. Liang Mei didn't want someone else to steal her chance to obtain special crystal nucleus.
Amelia snapped her fingers and the wood from the wooden wall around the cabin opened a gap that looked like a door. She walked inside and turned to look at the group of people with dumbfounded expressions.
"I would invite you inside but elder sister, you reek of hostility. I dare not allow you into my home."
"Amelia! Are you not even going to ask about your father?" Mei looked livid. She is more startle by the fact that she can not feel this girl's power level. The ability to have such an exquisite control over wood, Mei thought of a possibility but she couldn't bring herself to believe it. There no way this useless thing made it beyond level 8 in such a short time.
"I don't remember you being so easy to provoke. Did your IQ drop with growth in strength or I have done something to anger the princess of the Liang family....curious."
The wooden wall closed with a bang and the door from before disappeared as if it was never there.
Liang Mei is left on the other side of the wall just as she is about to explode in anger, the fluctuations of power from inside the wall reduced and then disappeared. The heroine is clenching her hands tightly making her palms bleed. Why could that bitch be so powerful and live so comfortably in the last days? Did she also get reborn? Impossible!
Amelia will have to come out from there sooner or later. She made camp by the wall and looked at what Amelia had done to the people on the ground. She has been learning some medicine and is able to diagnose that they are just asleep and will wake up soon.
Amelia got inside and watched over Agatha who is the one advancing a level. Just when the breakthrough needs energy she threw a handful of immortality pills into Agatha's mouth allowing the the process to go smoothly.
Jack Jack has been seated a distance away from her looking worried. Seeing Amelia it didn't even go to her and kept looking at Agatha with worry. It seems they have been getting along well these days.
Amelia went to the house and saw it is a mess, she had only made cleaning talisman when she came back from exploring the forest so she forgot to paste one on the cabin. she rolled her eyes and pasted one seeing a miraculous scene of the entire place getting cleaned by magic.
She changed the water on the large pool where Jack Jack washes himself and enforced the power on the walls so she can be at ease. She took a mutated meat from the past and stated grilling. The smell is mouth watering. She sat by the fire and ate her food. Jack Jack couldn't stay away so the two people ate peacefully by the fire.
The night came and went, she went to check on Agatha and saw her sleeping.
"What a lazy snake."
"You came back?" The snake said lazily but anyone can hear her excitement at have broken through a level.
Amelia raised her chin proudly. "You missed me didn't you?"
"Eh? I didn't miss you, not even a little bit." The snake snorted and closed its eyes.
"Alright then, I thought I would come and bring you back to a place. There is sunlight there." Amelia shrugged and turned to leave.
"Wait. Maybe I missed you a tiny bit. Where is this place with the sun?" There's obvious longing in the grumbles of the snake.
"Are you sure you want to come? I mean, you are such a delicate flower.." She is sprayed with poison before she could finish.
"Alright but first go into my space, there's a dangerous group of people in the forest today. Jack Jack you too, especially since you're their target." The dog barked twice. With a wave, she sent them both into her space and walked out.
She needs to go speak with old Mo. But coming back and facing the heroine with a start is not a good sign. There is always bad luck wherever this woman goes.
When she came out, there is a group sitting and camping leisurely outside. Of course they have all the best equipment for outdoor living and even the food is enticing.
She glanced at them lightly and then moved on towards the private gate.
"Wait!" She heard Liang Mei shouting at her from behind but Amelia increased her pace.
"It's about father." She continued to say and just as she anticipated Amelia stopped and looked behind.
"I'm listening."
"Yo, who is this woman so brazen when speaking to our commander? Our commander is the best even in our base but she is giving you face and this is how you repay her?" A young man wearing a cream white shirt with a warm jacket looked at Amelia with content.
"I smell green tea." Amelia said frowning before looking at Liang Mei who in turn is stunned by her words.
"Father is injured. I have tried to heal him but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. His pain is getting worse especially when someone uses healing powers on him."
Liang Mei didn't want to depend on someone but Amelia seems to have some power in this place if she is able to get inside a house with a large three headed dog. She might have a way.
Liang Mei heard that this base's leader has many magic potions to cure many ailments so maybe she can leverage Amelia's feelings for their father to get an audience.
Amelia came back and sat down in one of the chairs. She looked at Liang Mei in the eyes with a flat expression. "You have my attention."
Liang Mei hated having to speak with this woman and even lower herself to ask for help but she doesn't have much choice. She sat down and looked at Amelia's flat expression feeling like this girl has changed a lot she is calmer more mature. This is not good news for her who wants to Amelia dead for killing her mother in the last life.
'Snap'
Mei looked at saw Amelia looking at her after snapping her fingers at her. "You just went to a dark place there for a moment. Can you finish this conversation before fantasizing about the evil things you want to do? I don't have all day."
Mei had a burning face hearing her words but her face regained its cold demeanor a moment later. She spoke in a much older tone than initially.
"He got hurt in the back and now it wont heal. We suspect it is something in the spine fluid that probably leacked out."
"Can I aske something?"
"Yeah." Surprised by the steadiness of her expression even after hearing what happened to her precious father. Pretend, keep pretending.
"When he was just injured did you heal him immediately? In a way that would cover small fractures and close a gap in the boken bones of say....a rib?" Amelia asked.
Mei is stunned, her water healing ability does indeed have this ability.
"Are you saying there is a small bone poking at my father's back?"
"It's called bone poisoning. It would explain why healing makes him feel more pain. The healing makes the organs around the bone more sensitive having him feel it sharpness more intensely."
"If that's true then...."
Amelia stood up. "He needs surgery and then healing." She wants to get away from Mei before she gets flash backs of her dead mother from the past life.
Mei is very conflicted on the side. She is thankful for the help but she still feels like Amelia is hiding a big secret that might be a threat to her and her mother in the future.
"Amy, where are you going?" Liang Mei felt disgusted with her own voice but she has to know what Amelia is hiding.
Amelia turned around with an incredible expression. "Elder sister, please don't use that tone again it gave me goosebumps just now." She touched her arm that shows clear goosebumps with a disgusted expression.
"I was saying it is rare for us to be in the same place. Why don't you join us and tell me what you have been doing all this time." Mei used her usual cold tone when she heard the ridicule in Amelia's words and saw the disgust in her eyes.
"There's nothing I have been doing. End of topic. If you can excuse me I still have a child to feed." She walked away.
"Do you have a child Amelia? Is that why you haven't gone home all this time?" Mei left she has found something that is incredible. Could it be that Amelia is living with a man outside and even have a child? As expected of a mistress's child.
"Hahaha...yeah. I have a son now and he gets angry if I don't make him his porridge."
"Can I meet him?"
"No."
"Is he ugly?"
"I don't think so."
"Then why...."
"I'll give you your mother's favorite words." She changed her voice to be sweet and tender. "It is not your family but mine, the two of you are not the same, she is a princes and you are just a dog whom no body wants. Stop trying to be a part of this family, you will never be part of this family. Stop trying!"
"Amelia you are slandering my mother. You have gone too far." Liang Mei pulled out a gleaming sword from her space.
Amy took out her own heavy long knife and met her in the air. The clanking of blade against blade sounded and both parties are pushed back at the same time.
"I see, you indeed have something to hide. No matter, I will peel it out of you layer by layer." She said such venomous words with ease. A heroine is king. Whatever they do is right and proper.
Amelia attacked again. It has been so long to fight someone on equal terms. But the more they they fight, the more disappointed she is and the more haggard Mei seems to be.
She has many heaven defying techniques in her space but she especially likes alchemy so she has been pushing herself to study alchemy and unknowingly neglected sword play.
Mostly because the people she fight are usually normal people who don't see what is happening until they are dead under her hands. Because of this she grew conceited.
On the other had Amelia has two centuries of sword practice and participation in school competition fighting other geniuses over the years. Mei only has a space artifect and no experience in fighting against a sword technique from the upper realms.
Amelia of course doesn't have killing Intent on her thoughts who knows if this demon would pull out some last minute tresure to kill her once and for all, wouldn't transmigrating to a book be for not? She kept smacking her around and having the heroine on the dust the entire time without saving her face made Amelia feel refreshed.
"Amelia!" A crackle of thunder sounded from the clouds making Amelia dumbfounded.
Liang Mei is so angered and humiliated that she cast a scary picture. It makes people feel like she is òut of her mind just looking at her.
"Tsk. Where is the cold temperament now elder sister? Why do I feel like you arè a shrew instead?" Amelia ridiculed. When Mei saw her reflection in Amelia's blede she saw a face belonging to a crazy person. She saw her group looking at her incredulously.
The thunder started getting lounder. It had started with Mei's initial shout.
"You are so loud, even the heavens answer your call." Amelia used a fake critical blow to distract Mei from the vine that drilled into her left thigh. There is the poison from Lu Feng in the vine.
"Ahhhh." Liang Mei couldn't help but scream in pain.
Seeing Mei like this, the group of people surrounded her with weapons and super powers. They attacked with intention to kill. Amelia waved her hand and several heads flew in the air. Space blades sliced them all cleanly from the neck.
Liang Mei looked at this scen in shock. "Amelia what have you done?"
"I can tolerate you attacking and drawing your weapon at me but should I extend the same curtsey to your lackeys? Am I such a boringly good person in your eyes?" Amelia said lazily.
"You, you killed them. You killed so many innocent people and you feel nothing?" Liang Mei looked at her sister who doesn't even have anger or disdain, it's as if she killed ants with no significance.
"I do feel something. I feel disappointed in you. Had you never drawn your weapon on me for no reason. Those pesants would still be alive. You did this. This is all on you." Amelia looked at a crippled Mei on the ground as she tried to hide her fear.
"Never, start a fight with me unprovoked again. Who knows what I'd introduce to your system at that time?" She gave her elder sister a kind smile.
Feeling the immense pain on the entirety of her leg, she sweated profusely and even felt dizzy. "You, what did you give me?"
"Poison. Isn't that obvious?"
"So you are trying to kill me!"
"You won't die. But that is very painful. I want you to remember it everytime you think about raising your sword against me for no reason." Amelia said with a smile.
She then smiled at Liang Mei and spoke gently with a tolerant tone she said..."Anyways we are sisters afterall, so we shouldn't take on weapons against each father will be sad. So big sister, even if you hate me and want to kil me for no reason than existing, you have to bare with it."
LiangMei looked at Amelia who is speaking with a kind smile on her face and felt a chill on her back. The honest and dumb Amelia was already hard to deal with but this Amelia is more powerful and even has such a complex mind. Can she defeat her?
