RETREAT TO KALEON FORTRESS
The walls were breaking and the Conjurer's Shield of Enimus was close to exhaustion.
"The wall is about to break soon", Anitor complained to us disappointedly and fearfully.
Right after he said that a section of the wall broke as one of the Flesh Meats rammed into the city. Once it was inside, it broke down again into its hundreds of undead parts.
The zombies from Flesh Meat's body rushed into the city, attacking soldiers, conjurers and basically everyone else.
Soon, the army of demons poured into Tarah city from the opening.
"The city is lost", Ratatouille told me.
"Damnit, it is taking them long enough", I said to him.
"Who are you waiting for to help the city? The apostles?" Chash asked me.
"Eirot and Rinna. They should be sending their Hell Tanks here but it's taking much longer than expected", I told them.
Once the demons entered the city, the scene turned into utter chaos. Even the armies of the Church and the apostles were powerless against the invasion.
"The city is lost", Ratatouille told us his opinion again.
"We should return to Kaleon City and defend the city from there", I told my friends.
"We will also return to the Conjurer Court, we have a secondary shield to protect the conjurer court", Anitor told me.
So, we returned to our respective bases, as the demons ransacked Tarah city.

Prince Geoffraie has already repositioned the city's guards inside Kaleon city after the fall of the city's walls bringing many people in the city with him for refuge from the demon invasion.
"Oriese, what are we going to do now? The demons have entered the city", Prince Geoffraie, the city's governor, asked me.
"We wait for reinforcements", I replied to him.
"But the apostles wouldn't be able to reach here on time", he told me.
"I'm not depending on them", I replied to him.
Suddenly, the buildings in front of the entrance to Kaleon city was demolished almost in an instant as several Flesh Meat monsters broke them. That created a path to our enclosed fortress city.
From the other end, the main demon army was preparing for an assault on our city.
"Infernal Beams"
The demons started to bombard our city with their hell fire conjurations. However, to their surprise, our city was protected by a magic force field that wasn't much weaker than the Conjurer court's Shield of Enimus.
"When did you build such a powerful magic defense in Kaleon city?" Prince Geoffraie asked me.
"Since we started constructing this annex city", I replied to him as he wondered in puzzlement.
Kaleon city was an annex city in Tarah city that was built over a reclaimed forest. Our city was securely guarded since its construction and few outsiders could actually come here, including the governor.
Only during the demon invasion that we allowed the governor and his men to enter Kaleon city.
"You don't seem too worried about the demon army. I am surprised", The governor asked me.
"We have been preparing for this a very long time", I replied to him.
Suddenly, the enormous and meaty Flesh Meats stormed our force field. These monsters were considered the siege units of the demon army, and they were charged with breaking our defense.
"Can we defend against these horrible monsters? Even the Conjurer Court's magic shield couldn't stop them", Prince Geoffraie asked me worriedly.
"Don't worry too much. It is hard to say who is the real monster in this city", I replied to him who became speechless upon hearing it.
"Chash, let's go", I told my friend.
Chash was the only one among us who could face the Fresh Meats in direct combat. He quickly swung his divine sword toward one of the Flesh Meats and disabled it momentarily.

We shone spotlights from the walls of our city toward the undead Flesh Meats, shining holy light toward the enemies.
Our conjurers quickly cast rains of fire over the battlefield to catch the undead that were detached from the Flesh Meats who became vulnerable to the flame.
Only when detached to the Flesh Meat, could the undead body parts that came to life be destroyed and burned under holy magic.
"What about the Flesh Meat themselves? We are only killing the undead splinters. They are not the ones storming the walls of the city, the demons are absolutely bullying us," the governor asked me worriedly again.
"Well, you'll see who the real Bully is in this city", I replied to him.

Suddenly, a long, enchanted chain extended towards one of the monstrous Flesh Meat creatures, catching it off guard.
Its initial surprise turned to sheer disbelief as a magical bell materialized at the chain's end, perfectly fitting the creature's head.
As the bell ensnared the Flesh Meat's head, concealed blades within it swiftly started to rotate and grind.
The once still sky erupted into a gruesome display of blood as the creature's head exploded, shattered by the relentless mincing of the bell.
Witnessing the horrifying display, the enemies recoiled in terror, realizing the dire threat posed by the chain and bell.
Their fears were not unfounded, for as soon as the bell finished with its first victim, it seamlessly moved on to the next without pause or respite.

"What is that chain and bell?" Prince Geoffraie asked in horror as he witnessed the battle.
"That is the Chasing Blood Guillotine", Meera replied to the governor.
"Oriese already destroyed three Flesh Meat's heads in the short time he went down to fight with them. How is that possible?" Geoffraie asked.
"The Chasing Blood Guillotine is made from divine artifacts, even the cursed being of the Demon Queen could not defend against", Cassandra replied to him.
Soon, all the Flesh Meats who attacked the walls were beheaded by the Chasing Blood Guillotine.
"Why didn't he use this powerful guillotine earlier in the city. He could have saved our city if he had done so earlier?" the governor asked and lamented.
