THE REALM OF LIGHT AND DARKNESS
"The conjurers who came here to Delirium with us were probably long gone", Sara told us.
"The adventurers must have returned to the Ten-Kingdoms", Chash opined.
Suddenly, we found the signatures of several people in the realm. So, we flew there to check on them.
"Who are these people? Why are they still here after the realm was closed from exploration?" Chash asked us.
We alighted into a mountain where there was a small cave opening.
"What do we do now?" Melroy asked us.
"We explore", Ratatouille replied to us with a grin.
Finally, Ratatouille could have some treasure hunting time. So, we went inside the cave to look.
Suddenly, several familiar breezes of air blew across us.
"I know these people", I told my friends before shouting out, "Why are the Solomon Temple still here in Delirium?"
The breezes stopped and several people dressed in black skintight clothes appeared before us.
"Are you Ivan? How did you get here?" one of them asked me.
"Camliden, I should be the one to ask why you are still here in Delirium?" I asked him.
"We are no longer in Delirium", he replied to me to our surprise.
"Then where are we?" Cassandra asked the assassin from the Temple of Solomon.
"We came to look for the Rune of Light and Darkness following Mother Asereth's wishes and came to this place, the realm of Light", Camliden told us.
"Or one of the Realms of Light to be precise or the corridor going to the light", another assassin corrected him.
Delirium didn't send us back to the outer realms of Delirium but to another realm, the realm of Light or the corridor leading to it which was somehow connected to the Delirium realm.
"We need to get back to the Ten-Kingdoms", I told Camliden.
"We need to fulfill our mission first. We are so close", he replied to us.
"What is your mission?" I asked them.
"To find the Root of Shadow. It can only be found between the convergence of light and darkness", Camliden replied to me.
"Where is that?" I asked Camliden.
"It's somewhere here, the entrance but we couldn't find it", another assassin said to us.
"Let me help you", Handsome told us as he turned back into a rat.
The rat scoured the cave and its tunnels and caverns.
"I found it", Ratatouille said to us finally after searching for a very long time.
Ratatouille brought us to a hidden crack that was camouflaged and hidden by magic. This camouflage fooled the Temple of Solomon assassins, so they missed this spot entirely.
"There are no entrances here. We checked this place before", Camliden told us as he touched the rocks on the wall that Ratatouille found the secret entrance.
"That is because you couldn't break the magic barrier", Melroy told us as his wives sent their Sphere Arrayes before the rocks.
"Countermagic"
They cast a spell that countered the magic that hid the entrance behind the walls. There was a magic entrance behind the magic concealed walls.
"You really found the entrance", Camliden said to us excitedly.
We walked into the hidden entrance and passed through a narrow tunnel. Eventually, we reached another cavern that was filled with crystals that resonated enormous magic.
"We are rich. This is a magic mine", Ratatouille said to us.
"These crystals on the walls are much stronger and denser than our Magic Crystals", Melroy told us in awe.
We followed the trail left behind by the magic crystals which probably flowed out from a magic portal.
"The last time I found a place like this that flows out treasures was at the Aquor Gate that poured out magic pearls", Melroy said to us as be brought out some beautiful necklaces to show us.
The Aquor Gate was also found in a cave like this one, but the cave was in Pallantium.
"What is the Aqour Gate, husband?" Sasha asked Melroy.
"The cavern at the Aqour Gate became our family's main source of income by mining the magic pearls that flowed out from the gate. After the devastation brought about by the Illuminati alien invasion to our world, that was the main source of income for our world's reconstruction. But that is another long story for another time", Melroy explained to his wives.
Before long, we actually reached the magical gate to this mine.
"Finally, we reached your treasure gate", Ratatouille told Melroy with anticipation.
But there was more than one treasure gate here, there were two Gates here that stood opposite each other.
"This is the convergence of Light and Darkness", Camliden told us excitedly.

Standing side by side, the two magical portals emanate an intriguing aura, one radiating a mesmerizing light, while the other exuding an enigmatic darkness.
These portals serve as gateways to realms of contrasting energy and essence, offering a striking juxtaposition between light and darkness.
The Portal of Light is a dazzling spectacle, its ethereal surface shimmering with luminescent hues. The portal emanates a gentle warmth, drawing in those who seek enlightenment and illumination.
Beside the Portal of Light stands its stark contrast, the Portal of Darkness.
Its presence is felt as a palpable chill in the air, and the surroundings appear shrouded in an impenetrable veil of obscurity.
Though standing side by side, the portals remain distinct and independent, each representing the power and allure of its respective realm.
The Light and Darkness from both magical gates flowed through each other forming a sort of Yin-Yang combination.
Somewhere between the two opposing forces was the fusion of Light and Darkness.

"How can the portal gates to two separate magic realms remain so close together?" Melroy asked.
"That is the reason this place is so rare and hard to find", Camliden replied to him.
"What are you looking for here actually?" I asked Camliden.
"The root of Shadow. It is born here between the two magic gates", Camliden replied to us.
"What is the Root of Shadow?" Cassandra asked but before anyone could answer her, we found it.
Chapter 260: THE ROOT OF SHADOW

"Look what is growing there?" Ratatouille asked us while pointing at something.
There was a plant in the middle of the two magical gates that looked like a mandrake.
The different parts of the mandrake emitted intermittent light that was followed by dimmed darkness, like a Christmas tree light that was broken.
"Who are you people?", the Root asked us to our shock and surprise.
"That is the Root of Shadow", Camliden told us as he and his men rushed to pick up the plant.
"Zzzzaaaapppppp"
Suddenly, a powerful lightning emitted from the Root of Shadow that disintegrated all the assassins from the Temple of Solomon who came to hunt them.
"Damnit, that was Camliden, Mother Asereth's right hand", I complained to them about the fatal fate of the assassins.
"I guess the Temple failed its mission", Melroy said to me with a gasp.
"Are you going to take the Root of Shadow?" Meera asked me suddenly.
"Do I have another prophecy about the shadow?" I asked her.
"I don't have a scroll with me about the Shadow Root, but shadow is the main source of the Dark Angel's magic. You may benefit from it if you took it to augment your magic", Meera suggested to me.
"Before this trip that suggestion will be tempting", I replied to her.
Previously, I could augment specific skills of mine with magical ingredients that I obtained using the empowerment magic of my bones. This rare and powerful method was taught to me by the Ayen god monkey, Hanuman.
But there was no longer any skill in me to augment or a bone realm for that matter to augment it.
"I don't have a bone realm anymore, the root is useless to me", I told them.
"You augmented the Seed of Chaos into your body before without using your bone realm, maybe you can try doing so with the root", Rinna suggested to me.
When I was battling with the detrimental effects of the Black Heart of the Dark Angel, Delirium urged me to augment the Seed of Chaos into my body directly which helped to stabilize my magic.
It was possible that I could do something like that with the Root of Shadow.
"You should claim the root", Cassandra said to me suddenly.
"Why?" I asked her.
"You've got nothing to lose", was her reply.
Cassandra has a good point.
"How do I claim the bloody root?" I asked.
"Your other wife seems to be good at claiming mud and rocks", Sara reminded me about Eirot.
"Shadow Root, I am the Dark Angel or Revelations, and I shall claim you", I said to the Root of Shadow, mimicking how Eirot usually claimed her Pools of Sufferings.
"To claim me, you must pass the Trial of Harmony", the Root of Shadow said to me.
"What the Hell is the Trial of Harmony?" Sara asked us.
"Zaaappppp"
Suddenly, the lights and darkness from the Root of Shadow shot toward me to my surprise. Both the light and darkness entered my body before I responded to it.
"Damn", I complained to myself.
"Argggghhhhhh"
Suddenly, I felt immense pain in my body as the light magic that entered my body fought against the dark magic that came together with it.
"Damnit, why is the light and dark magic fighting against each other in my body?" I complained and asked.
"The harmonious blending between light and darkness isn't a given. In fact, Light and Darkness were inherently opposite in nature and should not logically exist together", Rinna reminded me.
"You should have told me earlier before I claimed the bloody root", I complained to her.
Where there was either light or darkness, there wasn't the other together according to conventional wisdom.
"Light and Darkness do blend. It's called a shadow", Rinna reminded me.
"So, the Trial of Harmony is to blend the two opposing magic inside of me?", I asked myself loudly.
"Arrggghhhhhh"
But achieving that wasn't easy at all.
There was no way that I could control any of the two magics in me which were wreaking havoc in my body, and I had to control both of the magic.
"Guys, I need some help", I said to my friends.
"Arraye of Peaceful Transition"
Melroy and his wives cast a magic arraye around me to contain the raging magic in me. Cassandra and Rinna also helped me with their magic to soothe the violent energies rampaging inside me.
But even with their help, the battle between light and darkness within me couldn't be quelled at all.
"It is useless, the light and darkness doesn't respond to me", I told them.
"Why don't you use your magic like how you conquered the Black Heart?" Meera suggested it to me.
I summoned the flow of chaos in me to do my bidding, but they couldn't affect the light and darkness inside me. Nothing much that I could do would affect the battle between the two forces inside of me.
Except one thing.
"Damnit, I must resort to this magic again", I complained to them.
I was reluctant to use the Dark Angel's magic in me because I fear its use would hasten the recovery and resurrection of the Dark Angel inside my soul.
"D'Ammur of the Dark Angel"
But even the dark magic of the Dark Angel couldn't quell the battle between light and darkness.
"Damnit, this two magic will soon kill me from inside", I complained to them again.
"Why do you bloody worry, you have a divine heart in you. This magic couldn't harm you", Sara told me while irritated because she had to give me advice.
My vital organs were being repeatedly bombarded by the magic of light and darkness. If I wasn't embedded with the Black Heart of the Dark Angel, I would be dead by now.
"Yes, the Black Heart", I said.
"What about the Black Heart?" Ratatouille asked me.
"The Black Heart is protecting my body from exploding to a certain extent", I told them.
"Are you saying the magic from the Black Heart can stop the light fighting the darkness?" Rinna asked me.
