BREAKING LUCIDITY'S CURSE
Lucidity waited another minute to check if I turned into a worm before she believed me.
"How do you get the seed from the cat to end my curse?" she asked me.
"I will take the Seed of Delirium from this cat for you", I replied to her.
After a minute I wasn't turned into a worm, so Lucidity allowed me to proceed.
"I'll strangle you", I told the cat who squeaked frantically.
"Arggghhh"
I strangled the cat until it lost its breath, and his tongue fell out of his mouth. Then the cat suddenly vanished and what's left behind was a magical seed.
"Here my lady this is the Seed of Delirium", I told Lucidity and gave her the magic seed.
Lucidity waited another minute to see if I turned into a worm, but I didn't.
"Indeed. You are truthful. This is really the Seed of Delirium", Lucidity said to me.
"Please grow this seed in your heart, and it will lift your curse", I told Lucidity the truth.
"Are you sure? This is not some poison or tricks?" Lucidity asked me to confirm with her again.
"Of course, this is the Seed of Delirium which would break your curse my lady", I told her truthfully.
Lucidity waited another minute, but I hadn't turned into a worm yet, so she took my seed and placed it inside her heart to grow it. Magical roots grew from the seed, and it sprouted as the greens roamed inside Lucidity's heart and soon took over it.
"Argggghhhh"
"You, you tricked me", Lucidity scolded me when she realized there was something wrong with the Seed of Delirium.
Lucidity cast a powerful zap of lightning towards me.
"Lucidity's Wrath"
The zap of Lucidity's lightning was immensely powerful because it destroyed half of her castle with her one zap. The Zap of lightning would have killed me instantly even if I had Dark Angel skin to protect me.
But the zap missed me because it was misdirected by my chaos field.
"Chaos Suppression" "Chaos Field"
"How can you misdirect my magic zap?" Lucidity questioned me angrily, but I wasn't going to answer any more of her questions.
I was still under her Curse of Liar, and it was wise not to speak to her until this was over. The Curse prevented me from lying to Lucidity but doesn't stop me from refraining to answer or talk to her.
"Your chaos magic improved so much. You can divert the magic of a Divine being that is equivalent to those of Angels and Kings. Previously you can't even divert magic from a yellow tiered Legendary", Ratatouille said to me about my Chaos Field.
"Chaos magic is the only magic that I can use in Delirium and its effects are greatly multiplied here. Greatly multiplied [with emphasis]", I replied to him.
My chaos magic improved quite a bit while in Delirium which had the effect of multiplying chaos magic. I also conjured "Chaos Suppression" on Lucidity which reduced her magic immensely.
My Chaos field barely worked for me, but it did and saved me from almost certain death.
Suddenly Lucidity turned into a cloud of fog and in a minute a cat appeared in her stead with yellow and blue stripes on him.

"Delirium, is your curse lifted?", I asked the cat.
The cat with blue and yellow stripes and a bell on his neck rubbed all over his body with his paws to check if he was okay. When he was satisfied, he spoke to me.
"Yes, the curse has been lifted, and I've advanced to a higher tier of Divine magic", Delirium told me gladly.
Suddenly, we were returned to Castle Delirium where Nicklas and the Sprites appeared before us.
"Mr. Beast, you have finally released our master from the curse, how did you do it?", Nicklas asked me.
"By killing the cat like in the prophecy", Meera replied to him as she showed him her precious scroll.
The curse Delirium received was a trial that he received before he could reach higher divine tier magic and now, he just reached it after completing his trial.
"What is a Divine tier in magic?" Melroy asked us.
"The Divine tier in magic is above the Legendary rankings of the Conjurer's Court which is anything but godly. We really do not need to know about it because they are beyond us", Rinna explained to us.
Delirium is a God who commands the Chaos Dimension of Delirium or one of the many Delirium realms. He is also a God of Chaos magic. His magic was probably further improved after completing his advancement trial.
"Where did you find a cat that looks just like me", Delirium asked me, changing the topic about his divinity when the main actor came out to bow to the audience.
"I'm Handsome, the best actor in Delirium", Ratatouille announced and said to us as he appeared before Delirium as a cat with blue and yellow stripes wearing a bell on his neck.
"Hahaha... it's the orb of alteration. That can even fool Lucidity or me", Delirium laughed as he spoke.
I didn't bother to correct Ratatouille about the handsome part because he did his part in our grift and without him, it wasn't possible to lift Delirium's curse. He did a handsome job by all accounts.
"Why did you call me the Beast?" I asked Delirium.
"Because that's who you are. The Beast. The Dark Angel. Fallen God", Delirium told me to my surprise.
"So, you already knew who I was?" I asked him.
"I can tell from the magic on your skin, and you came with the Serpent. It is foretold in the Revelations", he told me.
"Damnit this Chaos God is hard to fool", I told myself.
"Well, this is your reward", Delirium said to me as he reached inside his chest to pull out a beating heart.
"That is so gross", Ratatouille commented about the heart that Delirium brought out.
"Is this the Black Heart of the Dark Angel?" I asked Delirium.
"Yes, it's the Dark Angel's heart", Meera screamed with excitement when she saw the divine heart.

"Many years ago, when the Dark Angel was defeated his body parts were sent to many different places for safekeeping by his followers. His Black Heart was sent to Delirium because nobody will come here to claim it and even if they do, I will probably not permit it," Delirium explained to me.
"If you are asked to keep the Black Heart, why would you give it to me now?" I asked Delirium.
"Because it's your reward for one for helping lift my advancement curse and you will do me a favor if you take the heart from me", he explained to me.
"What kind of favor?" I asked Delirium.
"Well, the Black Heart of the Dark Angel is divine and to obtain divine magic, you will be tested. That is my favor if you will accept it, but the choice is yours. Let me remind you also it's not easy to complete this trial", Delirium said to me.
I still couldn't understand how my doing the trial of the Black Heart was a favor to Delirium.
Perhaps he wanted to get rid of the Black Heart which became bothersome to him if adventurers and even Apostles would keep coming to his realm to claim it.
"Does the Black Heart have anything to do with the Warlock of Delirium?" I asked him.
"That fella is a squatter in my land. He came to look for the Black Heart though but never found it because the heart was with me, and he never reached my castle. I forbade it", Delirium told me.
"No wonder the warlock would loiter in the outer parts of Delirium for so long. He was looking for the Black Heart as well", Chash told us.
"Why does the Warlock want with the Black Heart?" I asked Meera if she knew.
"The Warlock is a traitor Incarnate who betrayed the Dark Angel. He wants the Black Heart so that he can replace the Dark Angel, but that's not how it works although he thinks otherwise", Meera explained to me.
"Yes, the Warlock was misled to believe that he could become the Dark Angel by obtaining his Black Heart. To become the Dark Angel, you must go through the trials of the Dark Angel. Stealing the Black Heart wouldn't make him the Dark Angel. The Black Heart will reject those who are not worthy", Delirium added.
"I'll pass. I won't accept the Black Heart", I replied to Delirium.
"That is a wise choice although you would have missed on gaining unlimited amount of power", Delirium said to me temptingly.
"Tell me honestly, will I survive after I resurrected the Dark Angel? Someone once warned me that a condition for the Dark Angel's resurrection was my life or my soul", I asked Delirium if he knew.
"No, that is not true. You will become a part of the Dark Angel", Meera protested and explained to me.
"Well, there is no escaping your faith from the Revelations even if you wanted to. The Revelations would not always be accurate, but it would always come true", Delirium told me to my shock.
I thought about the matter for a while before I made a decision.
"I'm not taking the Black Heart", I replied to Delirium.
"That is a good choice", Delirium replied to me.
"No...." Suddenly a voice was heard in my head.
Suddenly, the Black Heart in Delirium's hand turned into dark magic essences that went right into me.
"Damnit, it is the consciousness of the Dark Angel", I complained.
"Yes, it is. You really have no choice once you brought him here, the souls of the previous Dark Angels. They would not leave without recovering the Black Heart", Delirium told me sadly about my predicament.
"Don't worry master, the Black Heart will not harm you", Meera told me with her religious zeal.
"There is one more thing. The Black Heart of the Dark Angel is grown from the Seed of Delirium", Delirium told us.
"So, the Seed of Delirium is the Black Heart?" Rinna asked Delirium.
"The Seed of Delirium is not the Black Heart but a curse that was created to protect the Black Heart. Only by resolving the curse, the Black Heart would be unleashed", Delirium told us.
"I don't understand", I asked him.
Delirium hesitated a moment before he explained to us in a remorseful tone.
"When I took the Black Heart, like the warlock of Delirium, I became greedy. I hoped to channel its magic into me to help me attain a higher level of divinity. But I never expected the Black Heart to have this kind of mechanism to reject the unworthy. I've been cursed by the Seed inside the Black Heart that you call the Seed of Delirium", Delirium told me.
"I still don't understand what you are trying to say", I asked Delirium again.
"I was cursed by the Seed of Delirium after trying to take the magic of the Black Heart for myself. Killing Lucidity settles only part of my curse. The only way to completely remove the curse from me is to return the Black Heart to someone worthy of it. That is the curse of the Dark Angel's Black Heart", he explained to me.
"So, you are saying I must take the Black Heart from you to lift your curse", I asked again.
"Yes, you will do me a favor by taking the Black Heart from me", he replied to me.
"But I didn't choose it. The Dark Angel forced the Black Heart on me", I said.
"That is as foretold in the Revelations, master. You killed the cat and obtained the Black Heart", Meera told me as she showed us her scroll again.
"Yes, as foretold", Delirium added.
"Damnit, did you give me the Delirium curse? Will it turn me into a female version of myself?" I asked Delirium angrily and worriedly.
"Don't worry, your situation is different from mine. When I obtained the Black Heart, I wasn't suitable or worthy of it, so the Seed placed the Lucidity curse on me as a punishment. You on the other hand are the anointed successor of the Dark Angel, the Black Heart will not reject you", Delirium told me.
"So, I'll be alright with taking the Black Heart?" I asked him.
