"But…" Pausias protested again.
"Don't worry, I will not lose to the Bastard", Prince Bion told Pausias.
"Alright", Pausias agreed reluctantly.
"I've agreed to it now come up with a billion Aurs", Prince Bion told me when someone walked out to say something.
"One billion Aurs. Our Noten family will place the wager for Duke Oriese", Amelia from the Noten House announced to the surprise of everyone in the city.
This will be the battle between the big splurgers of the families. Betting the wealth of the entire family or families in the city on a duel.

[Shortly after the castration of Duke Leokrates]
"Prince Raslee, Duke Oriese caused trouble again", Minister Holden told Prince Raslee.
"That Oriese again. What did he do this time?" Prince Raslee asked him.
"He castrated Duke Leokrates of the Gamanos family in public. There were many witnesses to it. Shall we arrest him? He did make trouble for us last time with the king and got Prince Samlee released from banishment", Minister Holden told the prince.
"Castrated? With a character like him, he would get into trouble eventually", Prince Raslee replied to him in shock before he thought about the matter.
"Did the Gamanos family report about the crime?" Prince Raslee asked Holden.
"No, they didn't. The families usually solve their grudges by themselves without referring to the courts, but the Heaven's Diner did report about Leokrates molesting and hurting their waitress", Minister Holden replied to the prince.
"Good, we should wait", Prince Raslee told Holden.
"What are we waiting for?" Holden asked Raslee.
"We wait for the good show", he replied to the faithful minister.
"But this is the best time to get rid of this Oriese. Even the Queen would approve of it", Minister Holden protested.
"Well, we are not letting this Oriese off. The Gamanos and Hermaois family will do our part in ridding of him, why should we dirty our hands", Prince Raslee told Holden.
"Yes, that is wise your highness", Minister Holden replied to his prince.

We gathered again in the Magic Arena of Tarah city.
Before the fight begins, we first have to tabulate our wager.
Amelia raised her hand as hundreds of Aur stones with immense energy density dropped to the floor. The manager of the Magic Arena brought out magic magnifying glasses to check the potency of the Aur stones and determined their value in currency.
"One Billion Aurs", the manager confirmed in astonishment after he calculated the worth of the Aur stones before the excess stones were returned to Amelia.
"How did that Oriese accumulate so much wealth?" Prince Raslee asked Holden softly.
"I don't know. We exempted their town from taxes, so they never submitted their income report to us", Minister Holden replied to the prince.
Then it was the turn of the Gamanos and Hermaios family.
Both families brought out the titles to their properties as the auditors of the Magic Arena calculated their worth. Eventually, a total of a Billion Aur worth of property were placed as deposit at the Magic Arena.
"Whoever wins this battle will become the richest person in Tarah city or perhaps the whole kingdom", Prince Raslee told Holden.

"Duke Oriese of Kaleon- Earth Tier level 10"
"This is an impossible battle. There are two entire magic tiers in difference between them", someone from the viewing pavilion said.
"The Bully has the Medicine Affinity. He can increase his magic with potions and medicine", someone replied to him.
"Can potions increase magic by two entire tiers? Saturn peak tier is almost the match for apostles", someone who doubted asked.
"Oriese, do you think defeating a few weak knights on the Knight Templar ranking will make you invincible? You have never seen real power", Prince Bion shouted to me.
"What do you know? You have been kicked off the ranking", I replied to Bion.
"I retired from the ranking", Prince Bion protested angrily to me to correct me.
Graduate knights do not hold on to their Knight Templar ranking indefinitely. After a while, they had to relinquish their positions to other knights as agreed between the major families.
"Same thing. Off the ranking means out", I replied to him.
"It is a waste to talk to you", Prince Bion screamed at me as he started his magic.
Suddenly, diamonds were conjured from the thin air which quickly gathered on Prince Bion's body, creating a powerful diamond body armor that covered the prince.
"Damnit, not this diamond again", I complained.
I've fought with someone with this magic before. His diamond armor was almost indestructible.
There was a difference though this time. Unlike my previous fight with Iasonias, the ninety ranked on the Knight Templar ranking. While Iasonias didn't have much offensive magic, Bion wasn't harmless.
Suddenly, spears made from diamonds appeared in the air. The spears rained toward me. As the spears fell on the grounds of the Magic Arena, even the tough floor was cracked by them.
"Savage Stalkers"
Bion's savage stalkers were powerful spear projectiles, but they were not real stalkers because they are only missiles that try to hit a target. Unlike real stalkers, these spears do not change targets once they are launched.
"Why none of the savage stalkers struck the Bully?" someone from the pavilion asked with surprise.
"The Bully didn't even attempt to evade those spears", someone else replied to her.
"This Prince Bion is a bloody hopeless shooter. Even the blind will shoot better than him", another added.
"Impossible. How can you avoid all my savage stalkers?" Prince Bion screamed at me.
"Because I have a Chaos lantern", I replied to him as I waved a lantern at him.
"What kind of artifact is this Chaos Lantern?", the crowd asked.
"The lantern's name suggests it is chaos magic of some kind. This chaos magic can misdirect Prince Bion's diamond spears", someone explained to the others about his theory.
"An artifact like this will cost hundreds of millions in Aurs", someone said.
"The Bully is rich, he can afford it", another added.
"You are not fighting fair with this cheating artifact", Prince Bion shouted to me angrily.
