Chapter 73: He Actually Made Breakfast

Avery Miller grasped his hand, her cheeks flushing with shyness, "I meant I'm sexual hunger, not... not that way." 

Her face was burning with embarrassment, the first time she had ever dared to be so brazen.

Ethan Montgomery's lips curved in a barely perceptible smirk, his eyes crinkling with amusement as he leaned in close, his warm breath grazing her skin, his lips nearly touching her cheek. 

"What did you say?" He leaned in suddenly, pressing Avery against the back of the sofa before she could evade, "Do you understand the implications of what you've just said?"

Implications? The word sent a ripple of nervous excitement through Avery, her heart racing with anticipation and her cheeks aflame with heat. 

He smiled softly, his lips gently meeting hers. 

She closed her eyes, letting his breath intertwine with hers.
