Chapter 41: 39. CONFLICT

"The air has been strange all day,

Trying to lead me the way,

I stand in the middle of the two ways,

Trying to see which will never let me drown me away"

Her gaze stuck on his face. He was so calm while sleeping but her form remained still. She couldn't move. Why? Because, she was stuck between her heart and mind. They couldn't end well on any decision. That was the reason she couldn't sleep properly and was woken up. Hours passed by as she lain still on the bed with her head full of 'ifs' and 'buts' thoughts.

Her gaze caressed his features and she murmured-"I don't know what things you went through but I'll make sure that you will never experience them again." The words were followed by a forehead kiss.
