I was heading towards the agreed location when I stopped in my tracks.

I looked back or more specifically at the ground in the direction of the courthouse's interior.

My eyebrow was furrowed, and I had a strong intuition.

The reason I shifted my gaze was that I sensed a spatial disturbance in that direction, one that shouldn't have occurred. However, I couldn't delve deeper into the investigation as it would require invading the courthouse's inner regions and would only cause trouble. Nevertheless...

I activated my Eyes of Odin to their fullest and scanned the entire path below. There, I saw the prison with Thompson detained and noticed no one around despite sensing a slight energy shift in the area. Whatever it was, I couldn't determine what had happened or who had been there since it was empty.
