After that, throughout the entire journey, there was no conversation between them.
After half an hour's drive, they arrived home. The car was parked, and he stepped out.
Xavier instructed the servant to retrieve her luggage from the car. As soon as she stepped out, he drove away, leaving her amazed.
Reina: Seriously, he just left me like that. It's going to be weird going in alone now. Anyway, let's go.
She thought to herself and went inside. Upon entering, she noticed four people sitting in the lounge – two women and two girls.
Both women were engaged in conversation while the two girls focused on watching TV. Reina, feeling a bit awkward, decided to break the silence.
"Hello," she greeted, drawing everyone's attention.
Upon receiving curious glances, Reina continued, "I'm Reina, Aaron's Uncle knows my father," expressing herself a bit awkwardly. To her surprise, the two women smiled warmly and each of them hugged her one by one, filling her with a sense of affection.
Mrs. Aaron, showing genuine politeness, asked, "How are you, Reina? How was your flight?"
Mrs. Ace intervened, "Sister, Let her sit first."
Mia Knight nodded and warmly said, "Oh, yes. Reina, come sit."
Mia Knight continued, "Let me introduce you to everyone, Reina. I am Mia Knight, your Uncle Aaron's wife. This is Sophia Knight, your Uncle Ace's wife, and their daughters, Lara and Laura. The one you came home with is my son, Xavier Knight, and my daughter, Bella Knight, who is currently not at home."
The two girls chimed in, "Hello, pretty lady."
Reina responded with a friendly "Hello," feeling more welcomed and easing into the warm atmosphere of Uncle Aaron's home.
"There are so many people here!" she thought, feeling a tinge of nervousness among the bustling family gathering.
But taking a deep breath, she smiled and spoke up, "It's so nice to meet all of you!"
Sophia Knight noticed Reina's apprehension. "No need to be shy, Reina," she said gently, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Come on, let's go upstairs and get you settled in. I'll show you your room, you must be feeling a bit overwhelmed after such a long trip."
Reina, grateful for Sophia's kindness, nodded and replied, "Thank you, I appreciate it." As they climbed the stairs, Reina couldn't help but glance back at the big family
--
Reina entered the beautiful room, gazing at the serene surroundings. The soft colors and elegant decor immediately made her feel at peace. After a long journey, the comfort of the room was a welcome retreat.
Feeling refreshed after a soothing shower, Reina decided to give her parents a call. She picked up her phone and dialed her mother's number
"Mom?" she whispered, her voice raspy with disuse.
A muffled groan, then a voice thick with sleep, "Reina? Is that you, darling?"
"Yes, I've reached Uncle Aaron's house" She replied
"That's good. We were waiting for your call. How's everything? Are you feeling comfortable?" Rachel heaved a sigh of relief
"Everything is good! Their house is so big and beautiful, and Aunt Mia and Sophia have been so welcoming. But I miss you" Reina always finds it relaxing to talk to her mother.
"I miss you too, take care of yourself, sweetheart. If you need anything, just let us know. Try to enjoy your time there" Her mother instructed her
"Thanks, Mom. I'll keep you updated. Love you both! Tell Dad I'll call him as soon as I buy the place."
After sharing a few more words, Reina ended the call, feeling relaxed

Lara said to her twin sister "She is so pretty, but her dark eyes are colder than the chilly winter morning."
Laura added, "She seems nice, but there's a chilly vibe about her."
Lara nodded, saying, "Hmm, I hope we can become friends with her."
In the evening, Reina joined them in the lounge.
"Did you sleep well?", Mai Knight asked
Reina replied, "Yes, Aunt."
"Want to eat something?"
Reina declined, saying, "No, I will eat dinner."
Lara, being hospitable, suggested, "I'm making coffee, would you like some, Reina?"
Reina happily agreed, "Why not..."
Laura then initiated a conversation, "Well, Reina, have you ever been here before?"
Reina responded, "No, I came here for the first time."
Laura asked further, "What do you do for a living?"
Reina shared, "I'm here for business, and as for my profession, I'm an Architect."
Laura admired, "That's so cool. Compared to you, we are just high school students." She said while sulking
"What's your age, you look so young, I thought you were also a high school student" Laura can't help, asking her
"I am 25" Reina smiled at her inquiries
"Woah. I wish I could grow faster."
"Well, this is the most beautiful time of your life. Enjoy as much as you can. After a few years, you will miss this carefree life a lot. " Reina expressed
"You sound like an old lady, or let me rephrase it – a beautiful old lady." Laura playfully teased
Lara arrived with coffee, saying, "Here is your coffee, Reina. I hope Laura didn't bore you with her endless questions."
Reina chuckled, "Hahaha. No, she is cute. I'm enjoying," smiling because of Laura's childish nature.
Lara called to Bella, "Bella, look who's here. Ms. Reina Romano, a family friend. Come and sit with us."
"Sorry, but I don't sit with strangers," Bella looked at her and said
"Gosh, both brother and sister are equally arrogant and rude." Reina thought while looking at the girl in front of her
Lara apologized, "I'm sorry for her rudeness."
Reina reassured, "It's alright, Lara. I don't mind."
Bella, asking her mother in the kitchen, asked, "Mom, how long until big brother comes?"
"He will be coming soon." Mia Knight replied
