Chapter 3: Understand

I'm not pushing myself hard enough. This is the thought process of the hard working and diligent protagonist, a mindset essential for achieving seemingly insurmountable goals. While I acknowledge my efforts and the progress I've made—becoming smarter, fitter, and making sound decisions—I understand that still, there is untapped potential within me. I am doing good, I am doing great, But, I can do better than I currently am; I just need to be willing to go the extra mile.

Despite my positive transformations, I admit I was once a deeply flawed individual. My kindness was overshadowed by a polluted and corrupted mentality, and strangely, I was content with it. The allure of security and comfort in my situation was addictive. However, when tomorrow finally arrived, it hit me like a powerful jab to the face, I felt weak, and I despised that. Embracing growth became vitally important.

Since I started changing my life, I've significantly improved. Nevertheless, there's still more within me to conquer. This is not just about me, it's a call for everyone to be proactive in helping themselves. The suffering we choose to embrace becomes our greatest and most powerful ally. Regardless of gender, age, appearance, intelligence, wealth, or current circumstances, the reality is that no one will care about us as much as we care about ourselves.

If dissatisfaction looms over our situations, we must be willing to instigate change. Hard work, enduring with patience, and struggling for years to climb out of challenging circumstances are the required steps. Though it may seem harsh, the truth is that the responsibility lies with us. The journey may be daunting, but it holds a certain beauty, we have the power to shape our own destiny. The phrase, 'No one will care about you as much as you care about yourself,' takes on a different light. It is a reminder that we hold absolute trust in ourselves, choosing our destination and taking the necessary steps to get there.

Setbacks WILL occur. You WILL trip and fail, but YOU choose to get up and continue. Maybe you even die before you reach your goals, But you can look reality in the face and say "F*ck you, at least I tried". That is the mentality of the protagonist in a realistic sense.

So, to finish, As always, I will say it again, and again: mind, wisdom, body, spirit, money—it takes time. But Level up your character, grind your stats, and do not betray the expectations your future self has placed upon you.
